most champions scale up to around 100 base armor. even the squishier champions. so 35% armor pen is still 35 armor off that and WAY better than an 18 lethality item. so even when the enemy just has tabi, mortal reminder does a lot. though, there is also the % shred on your axes and that doesnt stack well with % pen. also why is lethality even still called lethality? am i crazy or didnt they change the stat back to 1:1 flat armor penetration this season? the only reason for calling it lethality was because it was a level scaling value and you only got around half of its value in armor pen at lvl 1 and it scaled up to the full 1:1 value around lvl 16 or something like that. so without the scaling it should just be called flat armor pen again.
