I cant feel any couges or scratch mark but can see the greyish scratch marks.
Tried evey trick in the book on youtube and none worked
Will try your idea tomorrow with dremel and polishing paste

a scratch is a gouge that goes into surface but that is a mark which is on top, not thru surface. usually a mark like that is created from metal sliding across suface and is just remanence of the metal left on the surface
