when i found this boss i was really really happy and glad, im from the state of Chiapas, which this boss make reference to the great Pakal and also reference to the temple in Palenque, when found the name of the boss and it form were based on the drawing a the sarcophagus made me happy that they decide to add a little of our culture in the game
Now, this is an example of a boss who does everything right: 1- At the sight of the hero, RUN AWAY. Unless he's equiped with very specific tools, he won't be able to catch with him and he would have lost an expensive item for nothing, delaying the confrontation. 2- Never getting near the hero. By exposing the less possible to him, it's able to survive longer. 3- Using the surroundings on his advantage. Palenque is, basically, flying through the ruins crushing everything on his path to escape. Who can blame him? 4- Using long range ordnance. Again, never getting close to him. Bullet hell is the answer to everything. 5- If everything else fails, self-sacrifice. If he takes the hero with him, he still has to use another Ahnk to fight him again XD A shame he had so little HP...
Valentine Belov the engineer you refer to (Space Jockey) is based off the same ancient stone carving as this boss! HR Geiger used it as his inspiration.

Be more happy when you notice that he's the one who does EVERYTHING right.

Dude, without a gun or chakram, this fight is hard, especially on hardmode where he actually has big HP
@@CarlosSilva-bh4bi Even with high HP, he doesn't risk it. He's the boss :3
@@JeshuaMorbus true, I finished hardmode, I sadly used the axe, he whiped me until I got a gun, he still almost killed me though, a chad
this boss is based on 'The Palenque Astronaut" from Mexico.
I tend to do this fight with the Katana trick, works pretty well
using the chakram is gutsy I always just grind with item fairy to get bullets and wake kid his ass to death!
Haaa chakram, clever. Was trying to kill it with earth spears.
If you think "Unfair Bullet hell" this is my first idea, in HardMode realy is hell.
But I recomend the Chacram here
I went under him and spammed the axe
looks like enginers from alien

Such a waste of chakrams. You would've taken less damage with the friggen knife.
