i feel like when we know something is low rated it changes how we view it so maybe for a video idea you can have Chris pick out low and high rated products and you have to guess their ratings
It always kind of annoys me when people leave bad reviews for foundations/concealers simply because they’re not full coverage, especially because it mostly happens with the “glowy” products that I’m searching for, due to me having dry skin. It’s one thing if a product claims to have full coverage and doesn’t, but if the product doesn’t specify, then I don’t see a reason to rate it poorly just because it’s not necessarily what you like. All it does is make the process of using reviews more complicated for someone who is looking specifically for a product with less coverage. I think it would be nice if more websites had ways to leave reviews without actually rating a product because there’s definitely value in being able to see comments that discuss things like the finish/coverage/color of things. However, it would be nice to be able to have those comments more separate from ratings that take into account the product for what it is, if that makes sense?

Totally agree! I know some people may like that there are lots of options and new stuff coming out all the time, but I actually find it overwhelming and disappointing because I feel like I can't try them out (I can't afford to keep buying new stuff, I'd rather use what I have and occasionally buy a new product) or they are poor quality.
Decorating Pineapples for the holidays from decorating as Xmas trees (even carving them for halloween instead of pumpkins) was a huge trend last year that’s continuing this year so I’m guessing that’s why the brushes at this time. Super cute decorated pineapple trees are a fun craft for kids too plus pineapples have been considered always as a welcoming sign into homes. As for the shape of brushes with pineapples it does look so awkward to hold. But love these videos with the lowest or even highest rated items reviewed!
I think Rachel should read the reviews after using the product so we can get her first reaction, rather than comparing her opinions to others’. Just a thought

That Becca pallet looked so pretty on the outside packaging I was anticipating super vibrant, warm colors. Instead it just seemed boring. I think they were off on their theming?

I just have a hard time imagining the brushes being past on from one adult to another,one whole group of adults approving them and then other adults agreeing and approving them too...? Why didnt anyone stand up and say "Hey guys,this is a cute idea and all, but we arent 10." They need new team members I am afraid. Maybe they will hire me? I'd certainly tell them....😬🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
Well the design was obviously flawed lol with the way you have to hold it and all that, but for the theme, some of us like cute brushes and makeup packaging - which tarte is great at. They apparently just appeal to a different demographic

Why are so many brush companies coming out with that big fish looking brush? I find that it doesn’t really work any better than a regular contour brush or the brush that comes with the benefit boxed blushes and bronzers. Plus they are so difficult to store because of how bulky the “handle” is.

I'm so interested in the concealer! I am looking for the impossible: a lightweight concealer that looks like nothing, wears perfectly, and is great for no makeup makeup days. I like the Loreal Pro Glow concealer, and the Maybelline Age Rewind, but I'd be willing to pay more for a concealer if it wore better throughout the day.
