Hi Dan. A general comment. I like your Enyaq videos, your enthusiasm and presentation are good . But I wish you also would comment some of the things that's not so good with the Enyaq. Maybe you really think the car is perfect and you find nothing to criticize? To me it comes out a bit to good, almost like you are trying to sell the car, or that you are paid by Skoda? You say Google maps will show directions in HUD, are you sure. In an other Android auto video with ID4, it did not show directions in HUD?
@@SDADanCars One more thing. As you probably know EVs are very popular in Norway. Skoda have been called «the Norway automobile» (it’s very popular here) If you can get your hands on a basic Enyaq iv80 with 19’ and no DCC there is no test of this setup on youtube (I have seen alll videoes out there).How does the car handle with 19 and no dcc. How is, the comfortlevel in the city, over bumps and om bad road? Is the comfort redused much? On country roads, how is the handeling, In the corners. Also if you can get the standard Loft interior. How is itt? Can you film it in 4k in natural light. How does it look at night without the led in the center console. Perhaps you also can test the Android and carplay on the road (a real live test. In Norway it is worth considering dropping the infotainment and pcc( they come in one package). If so it is very interesting how good the android auto and carplay works.There is no english test of this out there for the Enyaq yet). The matrix lights in the dark with litle or no streetlights, how does it work in automode when meeting other cars, how is it when cornering. How is it in the dark on the motorway catching up cars? PS! In Norway we have a problem with using the pcc. Realtive often, It does not read the speed signs/ data for speed limit corectly. This meens the car (pcc)unexpectedly brakes and reduses speed to a false speed. At best a bit sceary, at worst could cause an accident. Most choose to turn of the funktions for reading speedsigns. A big drawback, cause then the pcc funktion is compomised severly. Do you have this problem? PS! It is not possible to get to try a car with 19 and no DCC in Norway yet. all have 21’ and dcc. Hoping and looking forward to a new Enyaq test;)
Two of my colleagues are already driving the new Octavia. It really is that easy to set up Android Auto. I can't wait to get my new company car.
