Goddammit I remember being a 12 year old kid home for the summer and being glued to the TV.. it was our first "televised" war. This guy became an instant hero and inspiration through the interviews during the conflict. He was embedded into our national consciousness in that period... to then learn shortly after that he died was was quite crushing (especially being a kid who still wanted to believe larger than life heroes were invincible), and he became a legend.

Indian army is powerful Because they fight for what is right and just. The strength comes from the moral nature of our armys missions. All the wars with Pakistan Indian army always defended and reacted. India never claimed or attacked anyone for its land or resources since it's inception, also from entire continent Indian army commits highest number of soldiers as UN peace keepers accross the world. When all the army generals in our neighbouring nations and installing their dictatorship, Indian army stood for democracy and ethics. Today, Indian army operates in any and all kinds of extreme terrains, like Siachin(world's highest battlefield) to deserts of Rajasthan, to jungles of MP, Assam and North East region and others.......etc etc etc.

Dear Kylie, I am not very at linking video clips, but you have had a question whether some scenes in the film 'Shershaah' were fact or fiction. I shall share the same of a video called '10 Things Shershaah Got Factually Right & Wrong | Fact vs Fiction'.
His company and other two companies that were fighting for past 3 days on this point went mad after caption fell. It took commanding officer to stop troops from crossing LOC, which USA wanted india not to cross.
@@justanotherarmyvet2.0 The CO didn't die. He stopped soldiers from crossing LoC. TBH, it would have been sensible if the war was extended beyond LoC, into PoK. We couldn't have taken whole PoK back, since nukes, but we could have taken few strategic passes.

There were soldiers on 19000 feet completely cut off for 27 days without rest ..The actual war was far more dangerous than shown in the movie

His company and other two companies that were fighting for past 3 days on this point went mad after caption fell. It took commanding officer to stop troops from crossing LOC, which USA wanted india not to cross.
That battle lasted 3 days? Yes, I can image. Your CO being killed is horrible.
@@justanotherarmyvet2.0 The CO didn't die. He stopped soldiers from crossing LoC.
TBH, it would have been sensible if the war was extended beyond LoC, into PoK. We couldn't have taken whole PoK back, since nukes, but we could have taken few strategic passes.

Well, as @Arnav Ranka said, I have more knowledge to offer with military/Defence movies. So, that will probably be my focus. BUT, you are right. This is a general Indian content channel. So, I do also want to do some others movies as well, like KGF for example. I do want to both.
But the good thing about being a veteran, especially a female veteran, is that it does make me stand out among other Indian content channels when it comes to any defense related Indian content.
Anyway, I do appreciate both of you guys and your support ❤️🙂
