What do you do when it's 1 year and 4 months old, you didn't buy extended warranty, and the HDMI stops receiving signal? I plugged my devices into another tv, they output HDMi. I used RCA cables, the 55NU7400f works with everything except HDMI.
When are you going to have a review up about the TV? I was thinking of buying one, primarily for playing console games, i.e. the PS4 Pro, Xbox One X, and Nintendo Switch. @@mooncow1412 7470 has supposedly slightly better dimming (so pqi is 1800 vs 1700) and silver frame. Everything else is the same, except 7470 has some apps for UK market: Steam play , TvPlus itd...
@@gogamontana8920 Thanks for the reply. I decided to go for the NU8000, instead. Slightly more expensive, but overall a better TV. PQI on the NU8000 is 2500 compared to 1700 on the 7400.
I bought 55nu7470 (7400) yesterday, in addition to it 55q7fna 2018 is installed in the living room, as the main one, and I want to tell you that 7470 (7400) is very good for games on ps and xbox, it doesn’t meet the colors of the q series, but in all the rest is the same. He has an excellent response and speed, it is a pleasure to play 4k 60 hertz games that support hdr, I highly recommend this TV for games as the most optimal choice for the price - quality in the middle price segment. I think that only 55nu80xx and 55QxFN will be better for games.
Hi Darko, in your opinion is it worth it spending the extra $200 to get the nu8000? I want a TV mainly for playing hdr video games but I don't know how much of a difference it makes.
Va panel with wcg, brightness about 400nits, great contrast, fast ui, great remote control, good sound, overall: for about 650 euro best mid-range 4K tv in 2018.
@@fiz567 55" and I have found that if you turn off eco sensor and change local dimm from 0 to 2 (service menu) picture becomes much brighter, especially in dynamic mode. Good tv for money.

c²=a²+b² ratio between a and b is 16:9. length has to be close to 48 inches, but keep in mind the original 55 inch measurement is screen space only so outside length measurement will be somewhere around 52 inches.

You don't need it. Just customize it to your own eyes and videos you're watching. Netflix has darker and blue-ish picture (and not much bandwidth!), classic tv programs are dynamicaly contrast wide, bluray request strong HDMI black, playstation has it's own preferences etc. etc.

I wish I was lying but it is true. In Europe there are reports of BOTH IPS and VA panels for the 43 inch version. I think the same applies for the 49 inch and maybe the 55 inch but I suspect there are more VA panels than IPS.
@@AJ-xc1lf Lot of manufacturers are using IPS for smaller diagonals. For 7400 tv, 50, 55 and 65" are VA. But don't worry, IPS also can be good and has some advantages over VA (better clarity in dark scenes and better view angle). VA, on the other hand, has much better colour reproduction, better blacks and higher contrast.
IPS tv's have a wide viewing angle but have a lower native contrast. This lower native contrast means that in a dark room blacks look grey. If you watch movies in a dark room or watch tv in a dark room the blacks looking grey will ruin the experience. On the other hand VA panels have a narrower viewing angle but a high native contrast. Blacks look like what they were meant to look like (black) due to the high native contrast. I'll like to add that in normal lighting conditions the low native contrast problem is unnoticeable. A quick test to determine your panel type is to watch the tv at an angle. If it looked washed out (the screen turns white and colours are undersaturated) and the image is in some way distorted then it's VA. If the image retains its accuracy regardless of the angle then it's IPS.

I have the 43 one that is an IPS.Im thinking to upgrade to a 49 that is Va.How is the uniformity of this one?Cause mine has an outstanding uniformity...My only problem is that less deep blacks.But if the Va ones has worse uniformity i might stay with the IPs...

A panel that does 8 bit + FRC really well can be virtually indistinguishable between a 10 bit panel. I agree colours and shades are really good for my 7400 as well.

I have my ru7455 43" for 3 days. I don't know how to change that 13 channels list in that main menu. I added a channel there by mistake don't know how but k want to repeat . I have mine connected to my laptop .
Yes it is. 7400 is upper class of series 7. 7100 is in "beginner" class and 7400 is in "step up". Not the same tv. 7400 has much more colours (wcg and better processing), brighter picture (about 320-350nits), better HDR (although I don't prefer HDR over SDR), BT connectivity and genius remote control (really cool thing!). It is worth 100 USD more.
15ms input lag on gaming mode which is considered very good for a TV, monitors usually have around 5ms and 10ms is a tenth of a second so it really isn't much more input lag, a lot of the older 4K and 1080p TV's have over 50ms input lag so it's nice to see 15ms on this TV.

I have this TV since December 2018 and still using it every day, great for gaming and HDR content and 4K looks great on it too

55" is better for watching 4k from about 2-2.5 meters. Performance with consoles is very good. Much better than Philips, or even Sony (at same price)!

For me 50 inch model is best buy here, I prefer VA panels. 43 version is IPS, 55 version is too big for 60 hertz panel.

No - you can play it via software player if it is in codec that is supported.

Film i .srt datoteka (titl) moraju biti identičnog naziva. Samo ih preimenuj na kompu.

Hi - what do you mean? This TV has a native UHD panel so you are getting 1:1 pixel mapping when displaying 2160p content.
