Hi Eduardo. If by bucket you mean the containment sump, technically yes, water can go in there but it should be removed as as soon as possible. There's metal parts inside that can rust. Plus if you get a liquid alarm you must response and remove the liquid. If an electronic line leak detector trips it will shut down the pump until you can call a service provider to investigate. If it's a mechanical leak detector, it will restrict (but not stop) the flow. So restricted flow or no flow should be investigated ASAP. Does that help?
Can regular water go inside the bucket? Also if the leak detector goes off would it stop the pumps till fix or can one reset the leak detector n continue pumping like it never leak?
