Here's a dirty trick I use when off roading on my tractor(s)
If I start slipping bad on one side I'll shift my weight to the side that's slipping.

Roman Atwood had one at his property but he just had a small pond, although he does live in Ohio, which has lots of rivers, lakes, and streams--including the namesake one (don't know if Argo recommends taking its vehicles out on the Ohio River or Lake Erie though).. .
