and SURPRISINGLY they actually have the foundation down, definitely buggy but Ill definitely be looking into this more
closer we are to getting away from remote play
Ive always wanted some sorta mode where you can just sorta survive, and come across other scugs in an online environment, use like pointing to somewhat communicate etc etc

*IF* massive if, mods are able to be used (of course minus game breaking ones) would a custom slugcat just be surv to non mod users.
*AND* big and, would the upcoming rainworld mod “random buffs” break the game?(probably)

Idk about custom scugs, lobbies don't give the option to be other slugcats, only colour modifications

all seems to actually work nearly flawlessly if u run no mods- just meadow, just played it tonight and we got all the way to catboy dwayne with little to no issues, one single crash (diff name for the sake of light spoilers lmao)
I think this video may taint the mod a bit ,since we were running unnecessary stuff that werent shared, like aim anywhere
Ill make a new one sometime with gameplay I captured now, it was surreal wandering outskirts and ACTUALLY finding another live player slugcat
NOW WE JUST NEED THIS MOD TO GET MORE TRACTION FOR PUBLIC LOBBIES!

@@wafflepanken6641 YESS, I really want a just sorta survival kinda mode, rn its either hang out with no creatures or items, or story coop where you still share food pips and its just like jolly coop but no more remote play

looking at how active the dev is being with the server, actively wanting crash logs for bug fixes, and with just how well it works thus far

I've been through monkland. It did well. I've been through minimalistic mp, it worked flawlessly but had one minor downside and also server inconsistency. And this, now...

PLEASE I wish mods were for console too so bad, if not for just this one. I have two friends who like Rain World but we can't all play it at once cause of share plays :[ This mod looks so cool, though! I never thought I'd see the day of online Rain World

This is the mod we need, imagine hunger games in rain world ( if there is a way to toggle spears from just the friendly stab to actually hit idk but regardless this seems incredible)

theres not much customization in game settings as of now, spear hit is always off, and no naturally spawning items in the freeroam or Meadow mode, only in story, which is just survivors campaign

all connections are thru steam, with an in-game lobby selector for publics
n you can host friends-only, and private invite only lobbies, and just sorta invite thru steam!
