      He's overrated fury as much as I love fury thats the truth. The problem is people think to beat fury you need size. That is undoubtedly the wrong approach. Speed footwork IQ beats fury. Usyk beats fury and that why fury is running from him. Fans are using the same language they used for spence vs crawford when defending fury. Usyk will outclass him. Fury knows it and that's why he's running. He makes outrageous demands and usyk agrees to them and then fury still turns the fight down. 😂

      Bud might just beat Floyd. He definitely has some things better than Floyd.🤷🏽‍♂️I heard Spence gave Floyd a black eye and showed Floyd who he was. So maybe Bud might do the same if not worse, although that was an out of shape old Floyd even if Bud fought a prime Floyd, Floyd might get touched by Bud. Who knows tho definitely would be a great fight.

      Floyd once he beat Dela Hoya. It was all about the most amount of money with the least amount of risk. He literally fought Robert Guerrero and Andre Berto. I'm not saying he didn't beat some really good fight is cuz he did but he was never going to challenge himself he never moves up the 154 he could have fought Laura he could afford Paul Williams he could have fought Sergio Martinez he did not fight any of them triple G's manager literally said he sent an email to Floyd Mayweather asking about a matchup he never got a response according to him. While all true, the argument is could the student be better than the master? Of course there's the advantage that Bud had Floyd to learn from... but hypothetically who would win if they both fought in their primes? There can never be a factual answer but my money would be on Floyd via decision. As quick as Crawford is, prime Floyd was quicker. Also Floyd was smarter imo with better defence, and had enough power to get the attention of his opponent, while having a solid chin himself

      You're so right regardless of Zab record at the time Zab was prime and game. EVEN his lighting speed was dismantled after of the adjustment. The version of Money Mayweather that fought Canelo in my opinion would've out boxed anyone at 147/154 at that time.

With that being said, Spence clearly isn't the same fighter @147, I felt the weight cuts been hurting him more and more each fight. To me he looked weak during the Porter fight. Now I've always said Crawford's gifts would be the difference, and it would be a better match at 154 for Spence. You can't get in the ring with a guy like Crawford, and not be at full strength or 100%! I actually had Crawford stopping him in round 6 or 7, and I'm a Spence guy. Jim Lampley was spot on. Now that Crawford was so impressive and destroyed Spence. How does he fight moving forward? Does he think he can do this to anybody and simply try to be this same person in every fight? Or does he try to focus on staying undefeated and riding this wave and taking less risks? Does he get in with someone who is just as dynamic as him and not look great? We've seen it all before. A fighter looks AWESOME one fight and ordinary the next. Styles make fights and different fighters fight differently on different nights under different circumstances. Mayweather found a way to keep winning consistently. We'll know more about Crawford's long-term after Spence.

      But Crawford's never really looked ordinary. Sure he's had a few rough moments, but he always adjusted and ended up dominating. He actually is the same fighter in every fight. He's too good for guys to figure him out.

Hard to pick against him after the man who you picked to win the fight was just as shocked as the ones who picked against him. It was a performance for the ages. Now Floyd could once again make me eat crow he did it several times during his career. I didn't necessarily pick him to lose in a lot of those fights but i kept thinking this one could be it I didn't have confidence he would pull it off every time yet he made it look easy in a lot of those fights so who knows we'll never know but it's fun to speculate.

Lennox vs Fury, Vitali K vs Fury, Mayweather vs Crawford, Pacquiao vs Spence. It's no different from talking about prime MJ playing against prime Kobe and Lebron. Floyd has had a lot of hard fights bro lol what is you talking about 😂 he’s gotten bullied by maidana from Pilar to post and lowkey lost the first fight. Castillo also put hands on him and don’t forget the many fighters he ducked. Honestly speaking it would be a hard fight but I could see Terence Crawford beating him. all those old legends Floyd beat weren’t at their best either just all names. taking nothing away from him it is what it is he’s still good and a super skilled smart fighter can’t take that away from him

    • @champbrady633
      @champbrady633 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My guy Spence didn't beat Floyd down. They went back and forth evenly. That's something that usually doesn't happen with Floyd that's why they said Spence gave him good work. Then the second sparring, they said Floyd got back to playing with him like he usually does. Sparring does not dictate how a professional fight plays out. Plus all fighters have off days in sparring. Spence had the worst off day in the biggest fight of his life. Closest Floyd had as an off day in actual fight was against Miguel Cotto, and still beat him. You seen what Spence can do with a high skilled cerebral fighter last weekend... No way in hell he can do anything with prime Floyd in a pro fight

Flash knockdown was just the saving grace PBC needed to gift Spence the victory. Kell Brook was beating Spence before the injury, that ggg left Brook with, was reopened by Spence. Bottom line for me is Spence is not close to level with Floyd and Crawford. Never was. Very basic; comes forward in good shape and applies strategic pressure and body punching. A tremendous fighter but his conditioning+strength was his best attributes. Broner is more skilled than Spence as well. At any other weight class they foughr together Crawford gets destroyed and KO'd (140lbs and 135lbs).
    But at 147, the Mayweather that of 2013 is the best version I seen of him at the weight class.
    He was firing on all cylinders
    I feel like it would be kinda like what Crawford did to Spence, where Mayweather's speed, timing, IQ, and accuracy would make Crawford look slow and amateurish
