You make your own luck. If you are not a go-getter just sit and complain about life and pap all day long, lady luck strip naked and sit on your lap, you also dunno what to do.
If anything this video tells us that he was always looked down upon, but he was very hardworking and is always trying to better himself and that's how he got to where he is. But here you're belittling his achievement by simply saying that he got luck on his side. Sure you can be lucky and become a multi-millionaire overnight but for him? Luck wouldn't be able to carry him this far if he didn't push himself harder than your average handsome/beauty actors.
