GET MAD, IDGAF, these are my thoughts.
“mao had a shit lutz” lmao 💀 but she definitely tried her very best to rework it even though it never reached the textbook standard. the girls (especially russian) nowadays don’t even bother to do correct it (although i think alena improved her edge from junior to senior) and judges aren’t giving out edge calls even when it’s a clear inside edge
@@sxrxh5453 Another issue / trend is that a lot of these younger skaters from the last generations aren't properly fed cause they are skinny af and don't have enough muscle to rely on their legs to perform the jump, look at most skaters from the past, they have visually thicker and buffer legs, soo... these trainers who give these younger women these terrible techniques know it themselves if they don't keep their body weight low enough they won't be able to pre rotate their jumps as much, I'm no scientist but I'm pretty sure you need that skinny frail ass body to pull off pre rotation the way russian gurls do it. That's another observation of mine, that's why we see all of them quitting down the line with severe back issues and eating disorders.
Just to be clear I'm not saying that Kostornaia, Shcherbakova, Valieva, etc. have a good lutz technique or that their scores are justified lol. I'm just explaining why a skater like Yuna Kim who never competed under the current scoring system wouldn't have the highest scoring jumps today despite her flawless technique.
gracie golds 3lz3t was the best jump combo in any competition when she hit it right... in her 2013 season the height she got on it was just insane and after her coach change it ended up a little smaller + more controlled but was still just huge
Most of the Russian skaters have bad technique, but they still get great scores. It's not fair to the athletes who do have it and are working hard to polish it up. Trusova, Kostornaia, Tuktamysheva and Polina are the exception, but the "highest scores are always those with the worst technique".
The image of Medvedeva in the explanation of Lutz technique is so hilarious…the lady of Sambo who began the Flutz tradition that lately morphed into a Flootz with the actual “Gold Olympic champion”, that is the only jump she can do besides a 2A. And Vaileva, little miss Doping and the queen of woobly landings in 3rd is a joke.
@Looloo L haha your right. The amount of salty tears for Eteri skaters is laughable. No America lady had correct Lutz edges except maybe Tony Harding, and Nancy Kerrigan. The fact that Sarah Hughes got 4th in the short program in salt lake with that awful Lutz when in fact she should have been 10th.
I remember when I first stared to learn the jumps by watching Medvedeva's "Gold medal" performances, I was having issues because they all looked the same to me. Turns out it was her issue not mine 😂
Every time a skater flails their arms around before jumping I think "here comes the pre-rotation", it is a telltale sign of too much torso rotation and reliance on the back to get rotations which often ends up causing injuries.
The reason why most of Sambo 70 skaters retired or hiatus competing very early (21 are their toepick jump were better and they also can fix correct edge

Different scoring system. That's why all jumps in this video are from 2018-19 to now.
Also Yuna always frontloaded her 3Lz+3T so she never got the 10% bonus that a backloaded 3Lz+3T would get. The jumps in this video are all backloaded.
Yuna.
Clearly Kostornaia's edge was not a 'shallow outside'..
If Valieva had a 3/4 prerotation, then why is she above Trusova who had less prerotation?
Because there is no official punishment for prerotation, it doesn't affect the points
because this sport is corrupt
LOVE Kostornaia but she should NOT be the 1st.
gracie golds 3lz3t was the best jump combo in any competition when she hit it right... in her 2013 season the height she got on it was just insane and after her coach change it ended up a little smaller + more controlled but was still just huge
Sasha!
@@zk9339 to be fair to Medvedeva, her edge jumps are okay, but she has terrible toe jumps ( and even worse double axel).
I do not care for jumps as I cannot differ between double, triple, quadruple. An elegant ice skater is beautiful even without jumps!
Polina is the 3Lz3T queen
Sofia Samodelkina has the fastest rotation speed. Her quads truly do look like triples... (not including prerotation and whatnot)
Surya Bonally is the best.
Yuna Kim 👍✨
About Sambo 70 skaters, maybe 🤔 only Polina has correct technique when she still competed. And she’s quite taller than most other girls
And you are a hater
Trusova too.
@@feyanormorfol2457 no
@@feyanormorfol2457 Alex Lutz include 3/4 prerotation, cheat rotation in the air, Loop entry
@@swanyu so prove it with the link to the actual ISU rule.
NOT with another Koola's fake "analyzing" video .
Ksenia is great!
Sasha Yuna & Alena
Be fr, Yelim Kim should not be on the list. Pretty but she has a very obvious flutz
Every time a skater flails their arms around before jumping I think "here comes the pre-rotation", it is a telltale sign of too much torso rotation and reliance on the back to get rotations which often ends up causing injuries.
Now 3Lz+3Lo Please🥺🥺🥺
Yuna Kim
Yuna kim is my only recommendation.🥰
The reason why most of Sambo 70 skaters retired or hiatus competing very early (21 are their toepick jump were better and they also can fix correct edge
Kaori Sakamoto still competes and yet she has 3lze.
@@krissad2145 yes i know but she ddin't jump lots of quads (combo) like sambo 70 skaters when she practiced to prepare competitions
Better than Sambo 70... That's hilarious

It’s very clear what the judges reward, transitions in and out. It’s in the rule book also.

Indeed, the very last part has the best 3lz 3t 's.

OMG. Kamila's pre rotation, super full blade, upper helicopter body position and still got +5 GOE automatically. I know it isn't her fault
