Im honestly confused how you only have 18.3k subscribers, your videos are great an in depth about what you are talking about. Your quality of videos are amazing from how nice your room is set up to the actual quality of the video. I hope you get more popularity at some point because you definitely deserve it.
I appreciate that! I don't know either why I don't have more subs after 4 years doing this. If it does not grow much more over the next year, I will be shutting down.
Hello my friend I've been binge watching your videos currently on the F40 .I realize that it's a sad story.in my opinion is that the person was a teenager and Mom and Dad probably bought it for him/her and tried to put it together and then played with it thinking it was a toy felt bad about it looked on ebay and tried to cover his mistakes probably had a friend/helper that's the only thing that makes any sense about how and why it got damaged.your work is amazing and I looking forward to seeing it completed.🏁🤗😎🇺🇸
That makes no sense at all these are several hundred dollar models not something you can run into the hobby store and buy and im sure your parents would notice the 900 dollar model car randomly gone missing
It would be great for you to get your mitts on the Autograph detail engine kit for the F40, a company from Germany. It is super rare now and worth a fortune. $1300 CAD the last time I checked in on it, just too rich for me at the time.
Definitely looking forward to this build as you have a bit of a Task ahead of you to say the least Rob, sooo.....many....bolts...😬🤯🤯😓....but you will knock this out of the park..great video
Its great that those parts are still available! This story is very similar to pre-owned 1/12 Ferrari Enzo i bought on Ebay which arrived in a dozen lose parts. I guess this one is for keeps.
I think you got lucky getting a broken one. You get it for cheap, you get a fun project and it's going to give you much more satisfaction when it's done.
This is one of those builds you take your time with, take breaks (hours, days, weeks) throughout to limit frustration, and most certainly threaten the lives of anyone going near your work station. That engine will end up so beautiful that it will need its own diorama station as if a mechanic were prepping it for reinstall.
This thing will be epic. Have fun with all this PE parts.. can be annoying but at least at this scale wont be so bad. Assume you’ll be doing a single vid or 3 just on the engine?
@@ROBSMODELCARS Hornby Models still own them so it's possible. They were going to release a Mercedes SL Gullwing but that didn't eventuate which is a shame as it would have looked great next to my DB5. I'm tempted to contact them to see what's in the pipeline
Could you recommend your favorite polish cream to me? Two of my autoart models their glossy been reduced from few small areas.. I’ll appreciate your help!
Wonderful pieces! But I have to something what anoying me. People have built these models and those are their treasures. But whrn you are showing those fabulous photoaged pieces you all the time repeat that those Pocher original plastic parts are awful, terrible or ugly. Yes, of course your parts are so much nicer, but somebody might get upset for those words. This F40 is going to be so cool when it’s ready. forces at dawn!
I lovr better the Citroen SM with Maserati 2.7 V6 and self levelling hydropneumatic suspension and linked to steering headlights protected by glass or plexiglass as the 385GTB/4 Daytona, even if the Daytona did have 4 and the SM did have 6 and two door sedan very aerodinamic shape (in the 70s faster than a Mercedes 280SLC) they did less than 20,000 and the champagne gold looks the best

Can't wait to see the final product...I should do the same to my Pocher Ferraris
Wow this build will be unbelievable can't wait for the next episode 👍🏻

True, this build will not be rushed as I want to do so much modification. Patience is key.
Keep up the good work! I’m trying to save 7 F40s in 1:18, you’ve got a bigger job!
Thanks! Will do!

I wish Pocher would do a re-release of this model. There would be no issue selling them
Agree, I do wonder what car Pocher will make next, if they make another one at all!

@@weaponisedpotato7352 Eaglemoss makes them now, new tool kit, mostly metal which is much better than Pocher kit.
Thundervalley F1 has carbon fiber decal sheets for 1/8 scale.

I always use Tamiya polishing compounds
Mine is the F40 and Testarossa
Hey rob any idea how to remove fog from windows
You could try wax and grease remover to see it it will remove the mark first. Without seeing it, it is hard for me to give you advise.
Ok thanks i will try that
What color are you going to make it
Rosso Corsa
