The problem with saigas is that they require a fairly dry climate. For example, a relatively recent breeding in the Chomutov Zoo in the Czech Republic, which, like Germany, is in Central Europe, failed because of this. They got various diseases, for example mold, from the humidity here. Otherwise, saigas have reproduced several times, for example in the old IRIS zoo in Pilsen, where they were kept only in a very small enclosure. I think that if someone wanted to breed them successfully in Central Europe, they would have to build something like a huge greenhouse with a dry climate. I got this information from talking to the zoo keepers and other zoo staff on which I came up with my theory about the greenhouse

It was when they looked for other centers in Europe, when they found a center called "Hirscheck", a reserve located in Germany that housed animals from the Black Forest and that was recently expanding and housing animals rescued from other areas of Eurasia. The wildlife reserve promised to welcome them in their new habitat :)

Hello Rudi, as always (for almost 3 years) I have enjoyed your video, keep it up! Could you make a series (or a tutorial) on how to build beautiful habitats with keeping animal welfare on 100%? In sandbox it is quite easy as you don't have to border with plant coverage limit or plants beeing from same biome as animal, but in franchise it is not so easy to build great habitat with those restrictions. Especialy when you're trying to target interspiecies bonus with many species in one habitat. Plants and terrain are most difficult but implementing enrichments so they don't stand out is also tricky. I think it would be inspiring for many of us franchise players.

Wild Boar Story; As publicity stunt a local restaurant who specializes in wild game imported live wild boar from Africa, the stunt ultimately backfired when the boar were going through quarantine it was discovered they were infected with Brucellosis and Trichinella. Since it was not feasible to send the boar back to Africa and they could not be released without infecting the local boar population, custom agents contacted the nearest wild life organization, which happened to be Hirscheck, who agreed to keep the boar quarantined for as long as need.
Takin story; After a 2 year long investigation of a black market animal trader only known as "the Tiger King of Europe" authorities finally found their animal storage compound and proceed to raid it. Authorities recovered many illegally trafficked animals in various levels of health, among the animals were a few Takin in relatively good health. After authorities sent the majority of animals to other animal rescues, zoos and veterinary hospitals Hirscheck volunteered to tak(e)in the Takin {pause for laughter} for as long as the Takin needed to be takin' {pause for laughter, again} cared of.
Wisent story: One day, Mama Wisent gave birth to a wisent named Nzumaki Uaruto, and he wanted to be the best wisent in Wisent World. He challenged his rival Paul the Sausage Roll to be the best wisent. Nzumaki Uaruto then trained every day, and learned the six paths of wisentism. After countless attempts, Uaruto finally became the best wisent of them all, trumping over Paul the Sausage Roll. Uaruto the wisent decided to settle down in Rudi’s nice zoo. The end.
Found during a raid on an illegal smuggling operation, a mated pair of wolverines were slated to be euthanized. Luckily, North America and Europe maintain a species survival plan for these animals. The pair then made their way to Hellabrunn Zoo in Munich, Germany. However, the Zoo already maintained a wolverine population. Raised in captivity and ill treated, these animals would not be able to be rehabilitated back into the wild. After medical treatment, Hellabrunn would need to transfer the animals to a location with the potential for a large, secure habitat with a rugged environment for climbing and digging. One where adequately cold temperatures and snowfall could encourage the pair to breed. Phone calls were made. And Hirscheck Wildlife Reserve near the Black Forest answered.

I have a question, when i try to start my zoo in planet zoo it crashes when it’s loading. Does someone know now to fix this?
