A walk around Fuengirola Malaga - Costa del Sol - Spain . Fuengirola wak around Lying just 25km to the south west of Malaga airport, the long established resort of Fuengirola is half way between Malaga city and Marbella. Together with Torremolinos and Benalmadena Costa it one of the the three mega-resorts which occupy this stretch of the Spanish coastline. Fuengirola is a crowded beach town decorated with utilitarian apartment buildings, but, despite half a century of rampant development, it retains a few redeeming qualities.

Known for known for its one of the longest seafront promenade in Spain and more than 8 kilometers long Blue Flag beaches, Fuengirola is one of the most popular tourist attraction on the Costa del Sol. Fuengirola is situated 25 kilometers from Malaga (only 20 minutes drive from international airport of Malaga) and 30 kilometers from Marbella.
Beside sandy beaches Fuengirola also offers historic sites such as Arab castle of Sohail, street markets, shopping centers (El Corte Ingles and Myramar shopping center), golf courses (Mijas Golf Resort, Torrequebrada Golf and Santana Golf Club), hotels, plenty of restaurants, beach bars, clubs, water sports, an aquapark (Costa Water Park) and a Biopark Zoo (Biopark Fuengirola).
Fuengirola enjoys more than 2,800 hours of sunshine a year, an average annual temperature is 19.3 Celsius.
