Im not a Hung Gar practitioner but I always enjoy seeing Hung Gar. One can onlt imagine how long it takes a student just to memorize the movements of Gung Ji Fuk Fu Kune. Thanks for posting 👍

Hey man, at the end of the day fighting is fighting. We can only move in so many ways, so it's all going to end up looking the same, just with subtle differences. A big issue with most TCMA practitioners is that they value the aesthetic over anything else. And in my opinion, that's a really shallow understanding of the art.

I see rising back knuckle, long back knuckle, long uppercuts and hooks, jabs in horse stance, oblique kick, front kick, round kick, open palm post/shoulder stop, downward trapping hand, trap with front hand reverse punch, backfist to body, downwards elbow, rising knee, and a few more. Those have been part of Hung Gar since the 1800s. All used in this session, along with boxing strategies, and takedowns and takedown defense (part of Hung Gar since the 1800s as well). Did I miss any?
