You can search for 1 inch 4/8 ohm low profile speaker drivers. Those fit good within the confined space of the speaker box.

I'm hoping that the next generation of JBL speakers or modular speakers will have additional things like 2 t of memory external or plasma lighter and stun even though it would take a lot more power it would be cool to have like a survivalist Bluetooth mod.
I went to the Motorola forums and at least my comments were forwarded to developers
I told them they could upgrade it by making them have up marine-grade speakers so that if it ever got wet it would still be okay. I use my Motorola MOTO Z4 everyday.
I have 18 in of rope with two knots on the ends of it slid through in between the phone and the case the case wraps around the phone is a rubber rubberized case and I wear my phone as a necklace while I listen to audible and practice language learning. I'm also able to walk my dogs and listen to music as it's safer than having earbuds you can hear approaching traffic. Another cool thing about having your phone on a necklace is that you can turn it into an instant bodywith two twists of the phone rapidly it goes into camera mode but in the future will be able to use voice commands to launch into recording mode or streaming police interactions or just videoing where you're at taking in the moment on a trail.
Hope all this becomes true oneday and Motorola actually revives this concept.
@@MrB_DoesElectronics they're basically going to run out of options they have to go modular.
They could even make a storage compartment mod inside the Bluetooth speaker mod that folds out. We could see 360 camera phones being standard in most cell phones in less than 10 years. They'll even start putting cameras on the sides of the phones so that as it's laid down it can still be recording in 360 view.
@@MrB_DoesElectronics part of the progression of the mods will be that they will have dual magnets not only at the bottom but also at the top then it will switch to the entire back platform is a magnet so that when it drops it still does not dislodge the mod. The wraparound bumper screen protectors are compatible with the Bluetooth speaker and all other mods it would not be surprising to see 20,000 milliamp hour in the Bluetooth speaker mod of the future that's the life of the battery will only get longer and stronger from here imagine when they go nuclear and you don't have to recharge it or solar and it powers up while waving in the sun.
