The way they weave so many sounds and feelings. The guitar riffs stop and turn on a dime. Theh grasp your attention every chorus. And obviously, his voice. One in a million vocalist. What's also great, is he seems like, they seem like, very humble gentleman. Humble gentleman with some serious fucking METAL in their veins!

I just talked to "the king" himself two weeks ago and we asked about a new album. The conversation got kind of awkward and he denied and tried to avoid talk of anything new.
I was during the whole Feathers and Flesh hype. I didn't know what they were making but they were just posting so many video's and pictures from the production in the studio. Even the skiing video's they posted were related to the studio (for the wind in Sky burial). That was cool. I liked that. But on the other hand randomly bringing a song is nice too. It's like "Good morning! We have a new song for you!"

You'd have to see the King rising high above the stage on his throne at the beginning of the show, of course - to this song. One of the most amazing concert moments I can recall!
I've only been watching live videos of theirs, but hearing the album recording makes me appreciate how good he (and the whole band) is live, there's almost no difference!
The wave at the end completes this. An older joke but still so good - Avatar is really down to Earth in person, and it's great to see they can have a chuckle in their videos like this. Love them to death.

I'm not typically as into growly vocals (ie black/thrash metal) but there is absolutely nothing I don't love about this band, the instrumentals, the vocals, this video, or simply how I felt watching it for the 100th time in a row. Similar to some of the comments below, I've been a rock/alternative/metal fan for a very long time and absolutely can't believe I haven't heard Avatar before 2020. It will take time fully discovering their catalog but I'm looking forward to it.
