Just 700-500 years ago, Adi Sankaracharya, Mahaprabhuji Shree Vallabhacharya and many many Gurus and Sadhus traveled all over India and had no problem with any of the languages, why should we? We have lost so much knowledge and wealth, that this generation and several more generations will have collect the crumbs and put together Bharat Mahakhand. May we become the VishwaGuru again and reestablish our lost Gurukul Vedic Education System.

Given that undivided India would've had mire Bengali speakers than just a pocket of Hindi speakers in MP, it deserves to be differentiated from Hindi. So do other languages. Clubbing Marathi, Odiya, Assamese Marwari, Bhojpuri, etc with Hindi is an insult to all Indian languages which have much more Rich history than Hindi or Sanskrit.
