Making ALL titles meaningless. Two matches to push Samoans, one match to push Punk. They dgaf about anybody but their part-time over-hyped "stars" (Roman, Rhea, Punk) and their octogenarian icons that they drag out because New Hampshire Nose can't make people interested in current stories. This was a fun show. While it wasn’t as WrestleMania like as they said it would be, it was still good. Tribal Combat was fun, Rhea becoming champion and her posing with Taker was cool, Hogan being booed was hilarious😂, and Punk Vs Rollins truly was great. Fun episode in my opinion.👍
Anti-climatic, glad Cena and Rock returned for the 12595219th time in the past 4 years Imagine if The main Event was instead Reigns - Solo and a frustrated Sett came out and attacked Roman Reigns costing him the Tribal Chief role. "You took everything from me, now its my turn" leading them to fight at WM while Cody Vs CM punk is the main event, and Gunther vs John Cena is the opener for night1. With this premise I think they would have grabbed more attention.
honestly the debut episode is everything I thought it would be without watching it garbage product on a garbage streaming platform and it was exactly that a garbage product on a garbage streaming platform and yet people will forever sit here and defend the product because Triple H is in charge and "he can do no wrong he made everything better" even though he's done nothing and this proves it that said only good thing here was predictable which is Hogan getting booed out of the building
It was like a regular RAW but if it was produced by Triller and spent 2 of 3 hours praising Netflix. If youve never watched wrestling before I cant imagine you kept watching 15 minutes in... it took exactly 35 minutes before wrestling happened. It was 35 minutes of praising Execs, and explaining Samoan History. How was that a good choice for brand new fans worldwide?
Tbh,the show was overhyped, underwhelming and disappointing. And Rock blowing smoke up Cody's butt was the biggest L on the show. The Seth and Rollins match was a let down. The Hulk Hogan's appearance was cringe and he deserved every boos.
I quite liked it. Wasn't perfect, but it's still good. Probably the 2 unintentionally funny moments (for me at least) were Hogan getting booed and getting a cricket wireless ad with Gable and Otis with their alpha academy gear and looked like it was pre Maxinne and Akira joining them. Rock suddenly being pals with Cody and Roman does feel odd, but I honestly feel like with Roman specifically that he's gonna act all friendly, but once Roman thinks he's basically vanquished all of the Bloodline and all his Tribal Chief era demons bam Rock returns at Rumble next year
Sponsorship and advertisers! They’re attracting more and more people. So they have to end the feud, that’s how I see it. Netflix doesn’t want that crap! They wanna see the women on top!! Nothing wrong with that I guess
>constant soulless sponsorship plastered everywhere >card still carrying ruthless agression era wrestlers for main events >the new set looks boring and soulless >netflix failed to bring in millions of viewers >hogan getting booed was the only thing people remember that night Wrestling will be dead soon
I spent an hour watching the show, fully immersing myself in the storyline and the characters. However, as time went on, I began to feel that the narrative was losing its appeal. My intuition suggested that the final segments might not live up to the initial promise. Therefore, I decided to step away, believing it was better to leave while I still appreciated some aspects rather than risk being disappointed as the hours went on. Overall, it was a good nostalgia trip for the moment, but it followed the same old formula.
really sucks too cause he improved a ton while still eating every PPV loss imaginable, now its pretty much directionless from here on out (at least I got no clue what he'd even do at this point) also the fact that his dad (Rikishi) was complaining about Jey not having a title shot on the Summerslam card while he was literally main eventing against Cody must've also stung
I was hoping she'd get the Honky Tonk Man treatment: A year+-long reign, getting the fans more and more against her....until the big win. Guess I was wrong.
@@fupaloverso to end the fued you have to make Liv lose the belt? She is the best female wrestler there is now. She has A plus mic ability and her wrestling style is believable inspite of her size. Her gimmick is top notch.
2:01 this match had WAY too many interferences, like got damn! We’ve seen all that during the rivalry for months, can we just have a 4 star, clean match ?
I felt the same way! They should have truly made it a clean match. It could’ve still been an interesting match if both stars pulled out more stunts to show off their in ring ability instead of doing the same song and dance they always do when the bloodline is involved. The right man won, but the interferences are getting draining at this point.
After watching GOD of Wrestling Kenny Omega to this crap.. I turned it off. Kids play and trite story telling. 0 pops from in ring action and only from 'personalities' coming out of the locker room. Great example Jey vs Drew, beyond hype and once action started it was dog crap.
WWE is not good. WWE is no better on Netflix. It's a corporate junk imitating as a wrestling show but it's a show. just a show and a bad one. No wrestlers are good and have charisma. They are all dead wood and I know most people have stopped watching it.
I hadn't watched a show in many years like over 10 years and I have to say I couldn't stand this show. I felt it was cringe AF I ultimately came to the conclusion that maybe I out grew pro wrestling
I didn't like it very much but I understand... Solo vs Reigns I know everyone hates Solo but hear me out, they could've gone the route of Solo wins everyone hates that and the Rock comes to step into that mess and you push Jay for a year and try to make him the next tribal chief. - Rheah-Liv was fine. - Jay-McIntyre was weird, I don't know why the chemistry was off (personally I don't like Jay in the ring but I dig his vibe) also I don't know why Drew is hit like twice by someone half his size and walks like he was punched by Lesnar. And please stop screwing Drew. I really thought his feud with punk was a push for him but they are doing the same thing over and over and it's kind of lame at this point. I really hope they do something with Rollins and Owens like the "no one listen to us so we'll show them" like a hostile takeover by a new gang. that would be good. - Rollings-Punk, this one really confuses me why are we pushing punk so much like In complete honesty he can't wrestle anymore, it's like watching Rick Flair's final days. 100% carried by nostalgia and his opponents. I really hope the Rock just step in and screws punk in mania like always I'll really enjoy a moment like that, but that is just me wanting people who call themselves "the best" to fail spectacularly like his UFC tryout, he really thought it would be easy lol
The whole show was not meant for the audience they usually have . It felt like a huge entertainment/sporting event instead of an episodic show and I feel like that’s what they were going for. It was a good show for what it was and the best entertainment value I got was Hogan being booed while cutting a face promo.
Hogan getting booed had me dying😂why they keep brining his ass out is beyond me, fans havent cared for him since his racist rant, fuck hogan, but the show was ok, nothing great
Racist rant? I've heard what was said in that rant, he was pissed off because his daughter had gotten back together with her douchebag ex and it slipped out of his mouth. It's no excuse, but it was a mistake. The Rock, Booker T, and Mark Henry have all said that he deserves the benefit of the doubt because he made a mistake. And Titus O'Neil said that he was such a pleasure to work with during Wrestlemania that he couldn't understand why the fans were booing him.
I really didn’t enjoy the show that much tbh. It’s not the end of the world because they still have a great talented roster. However, the ads, Netflix ball-licking, non-story driven promos and uninspired matches made this damn near impossible to stay tuned in for more than 10 minutes at a time. Hulk Hogan getting booed was fantastic and the main event was solid.
I hated that there was only 4 matches on a 3 hr show! & it looks like they only have 4 matches booked for next wk as well. You're telling me u can't fit at least something like 6 matches in a 3 hr show!?
It had a weird Vibe. Los Angeles is full of liberal weirdos and the talent seemed to be nervous af. Even Triple H seemed very nervous. The Rock as well kissing the rears of Netflix executives. Even showing the wrestlers in the suites acting like they are having the time of their lives. So fake.
@@tybeard8532 yeah something did seem off, I was wondering if something crazy happened backstage before the show or something cause like everyone had no emotion and seemed like they didn’t wanna be there
I'm super confused because I live in New York, and I was able to watch the entire show without the ads. I got to see all those promos and segments that people were saying weren't shown for viewers in the US. The screen would fade like it was going to commercial and then just start back up.
to me it didnt really matter if rhea or morgan won, we've seen both of them as champions and nothing would really change. It would've been cool if tiffany cashed in on their fight instead of nia. That would've changed things.
I liked the show but it was just weird like they Basicly wanted u to forget the rock roman rock Cody beefs travis Scott why? And then like punk beat Rollins clean with no real room for the fued to logically continue it was like a ppv but just weird idk
I feel like it made more sense for Punk to beat Seth then vice versa, Seth is really the driving force of the feud, he hates Punk more then Punk hates him, he won’t take a single loss and go “dang it, I lost, well time to move on” he’s gonna continue to fuck with Punk and try and get a rematch
@ I agree but that’s the problem these guys have been at each others throats for over a year now like this raw in a lot of ways it ends fueds and don’t leave a clear picture of the future smack down has this problem to cause we don’t know who Cody will fued with when this ko fued is done and right now the only real rumble winner candidates are Cena punk Roman u can throw in fin balor and MAYBE Jacob Fatu or solo but on neither brand the title picture and the overall like what happens now it’s to much up in the air and they have time to figure it out but compared to the last 2 years of the road to wrestlemsnis they kinda dug themselves in a whole and have to make fueds fast all they got rn is nia jax and Tiffany as a potential long term fued
this is one of those moments where hardcore fans who constantly “long term storytelling” or “ring psychology” learn that it’s all about entertainment stories can be thrown away for when they are needed

It was annoying how much time they spent highlighting the people in the audience.
Speaking of which, how many wrestlers were in the crowd that actually could have wrestled that night? It was ridiculous.
It was mid imo. They hyped it up as a big deal, we knew the legends would return for this “historical event” but, it didn’t live up to expectations again my opinion. 4 matches on a 3hr show is unacceptable.
Matches weren’t even that great either, all of them had finisher kick outs
@@tgon5153punk went prime super cena mode kicked out of like 7 finishers 🤣

Its literally just a normal show you doofs

I enjoyed the presentation of the first Raw on Netflix felt like HHH played it safe and it was more like a pilot episode for new viewers. Still enjoyed Tribal Combat and Punk vs Seth though
This was so cringe. The Netflix push was like wwe being whored out. Then Tiffany haddish was there and a bunch of under talent ppl. Really sad to see how this will be.
Drew should’ve won, make no sense for jey to win unless they having another match at rumble where drew win
Jey was in every promo graphic along with Ripley and Roman, they clearly view him as a superstar now
Jey has had more losses. Drew wins enough

This show SUCKED
Is Gunther still the World Heavyweight Champion? Like how do you not have your champion on the show instead they just showed a promo of him? Once again, WWE making the world title feel meaningless.
(Cena, Rock, Taker, Hogan.)
Pathetic.
I was just happy she kicked Dom in the nards
Standards are down the drain
11 yr olds love this crap
I used to love wrestling around 97-02. Completely checked out for almost 20 plus years and this made me realize why lol
Just 4 matches in 3 hours was an absolute joke. The show had more filler than a Kardashians arse.
I won't lie, this Raw was the final nail in the coffin for WWE for me. I just don't feel that spark anymore
Everything seemed so dead
I felt the same way.
Apparently the Final Boss was a placeholder for the Netflix reveal….
When the biggest highlights of the show is Travis burning one and Hogan getting booed. That is a sign that you need to fix your booking
Anti-climatic, glad Cena and Rock returned for the 12595219th time in the past 4 years
Imagine if The main Event was instead Reigns - Solo and a frustrated Sett came out and attacked Roman Reigns costing him the Tribal Chief role.
"You took everything from me, now its my turn" leading them to fight at WM while Cody Vs CM punk is the main event, and Gunther vs John Cena is the opener for night1.
With this premise I think they would have grabbed more attention.

honestly the debut episode is everything I thought it would be without watching it garbage product on a garbage streaming platform and it was exactly that a garbage product on a garbage streaming platform and yet people will forever sit here and defend the product because Triple H is in charge and "he can do no wrong he made everything better" even though he's done nothing and this proves it
that said only good thing here was predictable which is Hogan getting booed out of the building
7:32 why is he cleanfaced, smiling, breaking Kayfabe ?????? like come on Triple HHH BE CONSISTENT 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
They dont give a fuck. The plan seems to be ruin the grass roots of wrestling and for it to become a TV show more than a lifestyle.
Idk what regular raw has matches like that
Tbh,the show was overhyped, underwhelming and disappointing. And Rock blowing smoke up Cody's butt was the biggest L on the show. The Seth and Rollins match was a let down. The Hulk Hogan's appearance was cringe and he deserved every boos.
It didn’t entice me to come back that’s all I know
I quite liked it. Wasn't perfect, but it's still good. Probably the 2 unintentionally funny moments (for me at least) were Hogan getting booed and getting a cricket wireless ad with Gable and Otis with their alpha academy gear and looked like it was pre Maxinne and Akira joining them. Rock suddenly being pals with Cody and Roman does feel odd, but I honestly feel like with Roman specifically that he's gonna act all friendly, but once Roman thinks he's basically vanquished all of the Bloodline and all his Tribal Chief era demons bam Rock returns at Rumble next year
I really hope I'm wrong on the Rock story. It feels weird how he just changed it up and kept his ego in check
Standards are down the drain
Sponsorship and advertisers! They’re attracting more and more people. So they have to end the feud, that’s how I see it. Netflix doesn’t want that crap! They wanna see the women on top!! Nothing wrong with that I guess
>constant soulless sponsorship plastered everywhere
>card still carrying ruthless agression era wrestlers for main events
>the new set looks boring and soulless
>netflix failed to bring in millions of viewers
>hogan getting booed was the only thing people remember that night
Wrestling will be dead soon
I spent an hour watching the show, fully immersing myself in the storyline and the characters. However, as time went on, I began to feel that the narrative was losing its appeal. My intuition suggested that the final segments might not live up to the initial promise. Therefore, I decided to step away, believing it was better to leave while I still appreciated some aspects rather than risk being disappointed as the hours went on. Overall, it was a good nostalgia trip for the moment, but it followed the same old formula.
you make a good point when saying it’s still RAW
Who would pay to watch WWE raw??? Thats the real problem.
The main event could’ve been better, I think these guys should’ve had ONE PPV match just one this felt weird
it's weird because of the result. It feels definitive but the action makes it seem like a prelude
If they can bring back Hulk Hogan they can put Chyna in the WWE hall of fame already
I find it funny that they have WWE had the Fortnite logo as the center and not the Netflix logo!
The Bloodline storyline will be the never ending story of WWE
I was more amused with how visually pleasing the show looked. Idk if it’s just me, but it looked great and bright with nice contrasts.
They are 1000% doing Seth and punk again I mean punk literally said “ I don’t think Seth will let that go”
The f u solo chant not getting bleeped out was great tho
Seth Rollins is already the heel on the story...he can't turn to what he already is.
It was AWFUL. The only part I like was Hogan getting booed.
I feel bad for solo lowkey
He's pretty much done. Back to being Roman's stooge.
really sucks too cause he improved a ton while still eating every PPV loss imaginable, now its pretty much directionless from here on out (at least I got no clue what he'd even do at this point)
also the fact that his dad (Rikishi) was complaining about Jey not having a title shot on the Summerslam card while he was literally main eventing against Cody must've also stung
So glad Ripley is champion again. The feud between her and liv can finally be put to bed
Everything was legit great except for hulk Hogan coming out
Liv should’ve retained i stand onnat
I was hoping she'd get the Honky Tonk Man treatment: A year+-long reign, getting the fans more and more against her....until the big win. Guess I was wrong.
Nah this feud needs to end ASAP

2:01 this match had WAY too many interferences, like got damn! We’ve seen all that during the rivalry for months, can we just have a 4 star, clean match ?
I felt the same way! They should have truly made it a clean match. It could’ve still been an interesting match if both stars pulled out more stunts to show off their in ring ability instead of doing the same song and dance they always do when the bloodline is involved. The right man won, but the interferences are getting draining at this point.
Wwe putting on a 4 star match? Keep dreaming.
After watching GOD of Wrestling Kenny Omega to this crap.. I turned it off. Kids play and trite story telling. 0 pops from in ring action and only from 'personalities' coming out of the locker room. Great example Jey vs Drew, beyond hype and once action started it was dog crap.
they claim this was the largest indoor gate in wwe history? how is that possible
W late night drop
WWE is not good. WWE is no better on Netflix. It's a corporate junk imitating as a wrestling show but it's a show. just a show and a bad one. No wrestlers are good and have charisma. They are all dead wood and I know most people have stopped watching it.
I hadn't watched a show in many years like over 10 years and I have to say I couldn't stand this show. I felt it was cringe AF I ultimately came to the conclusion that maybe I out grew pro wrestling
Pentagon will debut next week on raw, Mcafee hinted that gable willl face a “Mystery” luchador
I am impressed and satisfied
it's a new era.
The Rock can't help himself he just HAS to pander lol
Hulk Hogan getting booed and Punk winning were the highlights
THAT SHOW WAS DEFINITELY MID-GRADE
In its dreams. Mediocrity is an unreachable high for this pile.
travis smoking weed and pat calling it sage was funny
No sight of the World Heavyweight champion. Gunther is a joke.
He just did a promo
4:57 I have been rewatching peacemaker and I love John Cena more than ever !! Ready to see him back 💯
It did not feel authentic, or ‘Raw’ and felt inauthentic. They should change the name of the show to Synthetic.
Taker should've got booed more.
Iron sheik would be proud of the boos for hogan 😂
Should have picked a better city for the first event.
Yes LA crowds are the worst
It was indeed on Netflix.
It was certainly an episode of RAW.
Cena run to the title can feed families if they do it right.
Seemed like a televised house show with no continuity.
Rock is trying to lay low and surprises us
Everything and everyone seemed so dead is it just me
It had a weird Vibe. Los Angeles is full of liberal weirdos and the talent seemed to be nervous af. Even Triple H seemed very nervous. The Rock as well kissing the rears of Netflix executives. Even showing the wrestlers in the suites acting like they are having the time of their lives. So fake.
No something deff felt off
@@tybeard8532 yeah something did seem off, I was wondering if something crazy happened backstage before the show or something cause like everyone had no emotion and seemed like they didn’t wanna be there

Solo and Roman was fire i was jumping out my seat but that’s bc I wanted solo to win. If solo acknowledges Roman that mean imma have to
Good point didn’t solo say he was gonna acknowledge reigns if he lost?
I liked the show but it was just weird like they Basicly wanted u to forget the rock roman rock Cody beefs travis Scott why? And then like punk beat Rollins clean with no real room for the fued to logically continue it was like a ppv but just weird idk
I feel like it made more sense for Punk to beat Seth then vice versa, Seth is really the driving force of the feud, he hates Punk more then Punk hates him, he won’t take a single loss and go “dang it, I lost, well time to move on” he’s gonna continue to fuck with Punk and try and get a rematch
@ I agree but that’s the problem these guys have been at each others throats for over a year now like this raw in a lot of ways it ends fueds and don’t leave a clear picture of the future smack down has this problem to cause we don’t know who Cody will fued with when this ko fued is done and right now the only real rumble winner candidates are Cena punk Roman u can throw in fin balor and MAYBE Jacob Fatu or solo but on neither brand the title picture and the overall like what happens now it’s to much up in the air and they have time to figure it out but compared to the last 2 years of the road to wrestlemsnis they kinda dug themselves in a whole and have to make fueds fast all they got rn is nia jax and Tiffany as a potential long term fued
this is one of those moments where hardcore fans who constantly “long term storytelling” or “ring psychology” learn that it’s all about entertainment
stories can be thrown away for when they are needed
That’s exactly why punk beat seth. The feud is over
The same wwe booking never changes the same people always win what changes is the background. My big takeaway was gunther is an after thought as world champ and John cena will definitely defeat him
Run ins really ruined the first match for me.. i could've handled the bloodline and sammy but when kevin and then Cody's came in i was checking out so quick but thankfully it was very brief
