You forgot number 6…when a new paddle comes out. 😂 Come on Selkirk! Give me that jack sock amped paddle.

I have been using my 15 year old paddle and it is still in great condition but they were made different back then. Plus my original Blaster from about 20 years ago is still solid and plays. I played with them 4 times a week and I am a big hitter
I do want the newer tech but I’m still winning games with it and looks, feels good still and she is a old trusty friend who has served me well
I can’t imagine replacing a paddle every year or so, I guess the design and build material just doesn’t hold up like the simple honeycomb graphite did back then. Plus then a top paddle like mine was only $68, Lol
Btw, I owned about 10 paddles or more through that time, but none played as well as my Blaster
It’s a collectors item now, Lol

I have a PROLITE magnum I bought 15 years ago, I still play and use it regularly and I am a power spin player
The new tech is much more spin, control etc, so I will upgrade but I will miss the durability of the older, simplistic paddles

Love the new Selkirk balls for their durability, but they definitely can do a number on paddle faces.

@@bart1476yeah, I can play with them, but they do feel stiff. I just dislike the wear the put on paddle faces.

i have 2 of the Engage pros and alternate them hoping to extend the life. Not sure if that works

Hmm, not sure why it would work... I don't see why there would be a compounding effect. If you hit 1000 balls with a paddle in a week, it should wear the same as if you hit 1,000 balls spread out over 2 weeks because you used a different paddle in between.
What this will accomplish is delaying that "adjustment period" that occurs when you go from your used up Engage to the new one. Since you are wearing them down equally. Just means that when you do switch you will have been accustomed to an old paddle for twice as long.

Really will? No corr-uption?!? Now the question is....what needs replacement first...a pro s1 ball or a selkirk paddle....

This is ridiculous because I started playing in September 2024 and recently spent almost $300.00 on a Selkirk paddle! How dare these companies charge so much for a good paddle. Screw this I’m just gonna buy a cheap paddle and adjust my play style

Try the Vatic Pro V7...same power as Invikta but a little bit more control...but the best thing is the price, $139
