I just made a breakthrough in my personal life after years of cyclical repetitions and failures, and then my friend shows me this song. I sat there immediately in silence, captivated by the music. When he left, I listened to it on repeat until 4 in the morning and I just fucking broke down man. The breakthroughs, making it to the end of the cycle and being able to sleep, shit was incredible. For anyone that reads this and is struggling with something, just keep pushing. Like that scene in Devilman Crybaby, you have to keep passing the baton until it moves on. Everything’s eventual. Heads up Kings and Queens. The Night comes down eventually and it’s like Heaven

Wait.... SUNDOWNING IS A DEBUT ALBUM?? Dear lord, such production value and musicianship from the very first release is mind blowing.
They have 2 EPs, if ya haven't heard them! The first one, One, shows Vessel's origins with Sleep. Two is so heartbreaking and you can hear the progression in his voice. Sundowning is where I feel we really get to see II shine for the first time. It's been a wild few with this trilogy of albums, but by the gods has it been one of the most beautiful journeys I've ever been taken on in music.

@@baybay2273 Yeah, I've checked them - aside from how different Vessel sounded on first EP...Maybe I just listened to too much bands, that began theirs careers in late 2000's, but such a debut quality, that was in theirs first EP is such an anomaly (for me, at least).
Calcutta and Nazareth are awe-inspiring.

I’ve had this on all day… I took my eldest out into our garden with blankets and pillows, put this on through headphones for him and we lay down staring up at the moon and the stars even though it was freezing. He’s 7 and he was so moved he had a really good cry. I’m so glad I found this band and especially this song. It really is a little slice of magic ❤️

Similar to alot of lost people finding sleep Token it just makes me break when nonones around, takes away my facade of strength and reminds me to feel even if it hurts. Even when the world, the pain, the dark night comes down to just realize you only get one shot so give it what you got through the pain , anguish and heartbreak. Cause the pain doesn't last forever, and in all the moments of being alive we find ourselves. Good luck to all on there journeys

This song feel like a dreamcatcher, except it's caught all the memories of a thousand nights I've forgotten but still remember how they felt, the joy, the sorrow, the bittersweet, the pain, and overall the loss of the memories and people that go with those feelings. And yet still I greet the moon and the stars, the smell of night rain, the sounds you only hear at night, tires slowly touching pavement, the rustling of wind through the trees.

But when they did open with this,the music was so beautiful that I started crying lol And now when I hear it, it brings me back to that concert. It is beautiful. I think one of the main reasons apart from the obvious immense talent I like this band and album is the fact its so diverse and diffrent. Ive never heard anything quite like Sleep Token and its so refreshing. They are almost their own genre.

This song came on tonight while I was playing with my 2yo. She immediately went over to the speaker and zoned in. I sang along for the whole song. She came back to me when the vocals started, lay on my lap smiling and watching me for the words. She asked me what the song was called. I told her. With no concepts/grounding, she asked me "Dada, what did God do?". I said "I don't know but that's a great question".
A little while later, getting her ready for a bath while she's focused on a toy and she randomly starts singing "The night comes down like heaven" over and over (in perfect key). Inexplicable flood of emotions for me. I put the song back on and she just harmonized those 6 words over and over. It's added a layer of experience I never knew possible. Take Me Back To Eden is now my second favorite song.

I saw an article about these guys on ThePRP, and I read a bit of an interview and saw pics of the lead singer before I ever heard a note. This was the first track I checked out, and this song did something that hasn't happened in a hot minute for me.. it surprised me. And I love it for that. This was SO not what I was expecting to hear, and now I can't get it out of my head. It haunts me in the best way.
I heard their song Jericho come through on Spotify. Listened to every other song they had released up to that point, then decided to find out who they were and I was fucking surprised. Lol
I saw Sleep Token live back in 2019. I had no idea who they were at the time, just that they were opening for Polyphia and Issues. This was the first song they played. The very second they started, I felt the air in the room shift and I still can't explain it. SLEEP.

MrJdub322 vocals blew me away, and the vibes where amazing, they would go hard as fuck and the strobe lights would be crazy then they would chill out again and the guitarist and bassist where climbing and sitting up on the amps n shit. And they would like dance in a circle and the singers movements where very fitting to the aesthetic. Loved it

There are twelve symbols at the website. The first one corresponds to the cover of this single, and when you click the symbol, it shows this song. The others don't show anything yet. The second symbol has roman numerals for the date 4th of July 2019, and it keeps going up until November. I guess Sleep Token is going to release twelve unique songs and maybe then put them all together as an album? If so, then it's great marketing, since they get to have individual merch for each song drop and get a lot of buzz.
