The City Ground reminds me a little of Highbury when you see it like this on the tele. Highbury was one of my favourite grounds when I was a young kid, when you'd be in your proper bookworm era of a fan, i'm a Wigan Ath fan & went to the last ever game at Highbury when we played them the final day of the season, which was class.
Highbury is actually called The Arsenal Stadium, not Highbury.

Endo was blocking a defender who could've cleared the ball that's why it was given obstructions whereas Varane blocked forest player path who was not in any position to stop Casemiro because he was way behind Casemiro in middle of the post whereas Casemiro scored goal on front Post, even if Varane wouldn't have blocked the defender Casemiro would've still scored the header that's why it wasn't given obstruction. That's the rule.

As a Liverpool fan, I welcome our Semi Final Clash at Old Trafford. In years gone by I'd have been worried but excited about the trip to OT but in recent times, not so much.
In the recent match between Chel and Liv in the Carabao final, Endo was in the "offside" position. After reviewing the VAR several times, Van Dijk's goal was not recognized. The explanation given is that Endo blocked the player rushing towards the ball.
In the recent match Nott vs ManU, Varane was in the same offside position, and the goal was awarded to Casemiro. The explanation given is that Varene prevents the player from rushing towards the ball (although who in this area is not waiting to win the ball?)
Guess who is the referee of the two matches? Same person: Christopher Kavanagh, from Manchester.

It wasn’t the same though was it? Varane was offside yes, he may have even fouled a player but he wasn’t blocking the marker who was on Casemiro. Totally different and let’s not forget United were the only team that had a goal disallowed for blocking in an offside position before Sunday. Problem with Liverpool fans is they always have to be the victim. It’s quite sad really.

Varane was in an offside position, he then interfered with play. He interfered with an opponent and he almost certainly was seeking to gain an advantage.
Nowhere in the laws does it require the player who was fouled (i.e. interfered with by virtue of a player being in an offside position) to be able to prevent an opponent who may or may not be in an offside position from scoring or attempting to score a goal.

Liverpool's "kids" (about six or seven of them) are getting game time and doing well, while United's kids (three or four of them, other than Mainoo and Garnacho) a few minutes if they are lucky. Shola Shoretire was going to be the next big thing a few years ago. How much game time is he getting? He played five times as many games in a few months on loan at Bolton than he has in four years at United. ten Hag would rather endorse paying a fortune for one trick pony Antony than give the young players extended game time, even with the number of players missing injured. He hasn't even given some of the experienced players a decent go (i.e. van de Beek).

Honestly, we were more exciting under Ole, it's just that we couldn't win anything no matter how many finals we went to. And this is not to attack Ten Hag because i really want him to succeed with us, and in addition to that I'm tired of us changing managers, the issue is with the total operation of the club, that is in need of a thorough change, regrettably the Glazer's are still at the club, they just can't leave us alone. But truthfully, we were more exciting under Ole, in fact, we are not currently playing any exciting football, we just enter games with the hope to acquire all 3 points based on the countless chances and goals we give away per match. @@sitaylor in both cases there was a player in an offside position who didn't touch the ball but was heavily involved in blocking a defender's way. I'm not saying anything else, only the fact that they are too similar and still one was ruled a goal achieved in an acceptable manner and one not

Again, i'm not saying that Utd's goal should not have been given, but then in Pool's case, Endo (who was in an offside position) did not intervene. These are definitely not obvious scenarios, but it's weird for me that the same referee decided differently in two very similar situations

VVD was next to Colwill before the free kick was taken and just behind him. When Endo blocks Colwill there is space for VVD to run into, space that Colwill could possibly have filled.
Casemiro had two players behind him, one Utd, one Forest and then Yates. So Casemiro was ahead of Yates by two more players and was closer to the ball than all three. Yates, even though clearly blocked by Varane, was never going to get ahead of Casemiro even if not blocked.
Now, read the rule again, below is the important part.
'if it impacts on the ability of the opponent to play or challenge for the ball'.
Yates was never going to have an impact on the ball. Whereas Colwill, being closer to the ball than VVD & stood directly next to him, was.
Utd had a goal disallowed against Fulham this season for EXACTLY the same reason as Liverpool did. The rule is very clear.
