When I see him I swear I’m going to ask about Rejseholdet. It’s such a great series yet it isn’t talked about much (or none at all?) in his interviews. I feel like it’s a perfect show to complement Hannibal… His role as Fischer is the polar opposite of Hannibal and you can also see the full range of Mads’ acting (but as a boyish, impulsive, and playful police detective) as the series progresses.

Mads is so good in this…..when he’s doing non-American films I find I like him better…..American filmmakers are too stupid to use him for anything other than baddies. He’s great as a baddie, but he’s a wonderful actor and I like to see him as someone other than one.
