"The ultimate goal of all Bible study is not increasing knowledge, but increasing holiness and Christlikeness." (John MacArthur). This is marvelously achievable by the Holy Spirit indwelling true Christians (Romans 8:13) dynamically energizing each of them to eagerly conform to God's priority ---- "Be holy in all your conduct; for it is written, 'You shall be holy, for I am Holy.' " (1 Peter 1:15-16). Therefore, first things first ---- holiness and Christlikeness ---- this then supernaturally equips Christians to be Authentic Changemakers to lead others ---- in accord Matthew 28:19-20 and Acts 1:8 ---- toward lives of holiness and Christlikeness in all areas of genuine Christian living. And as Jerry Bridges defines: "Holiness is obedience to God." And gratefully, eagerly, joyfully, lovingly, and promptly obeying God in thought, word, and deed moment by moment DAILY is indeed WOWful worship in sync with "Present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your service of worship." (Romans 12:1). And indeed all by the amazing grace of God, and all for His glory --- Ever so JOYFULLY!

Pastor Peter forgot to invite them to repent of their sins. For wholehearted repentance is the very start of the Christian life, in order for God to forgive their sins and begin to truly embrace Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Without the initial requirement of heartily sincere repentance, the absence of repentance, which is God's gift (Romans 2:4), there is none of God's forgiveness, and they wind up being fake Christians, evidence of which is lingering difficulty obeying God, even as they claim they are Christians. It's the tragedy of no repentance. Indeed, repentance is God's gift leading to authentic Christianity. Ingat po, CCF.
