As a returning player, I wanted to say thank you for what you do for the community and you've been doing it for a long time, much respect towards you brother! Before I start grinding to make this build and find the gear I was wondering could I used the skill in the video even tho I don't have all the gear yet ? What skills would be best in slot for a pure block build?
thanks for the kind words bra! i would just copy paste the build, everything else is not recommended! dk perma block builds are sensitive, any small change can have huge negative impact ;)
get some proper gear, a good team mate and you are gucci to go! i recommend farming it with dk, so you directly drop the dk class sets. buy the blue random basalt boxes from the ia trader with enough fortunes, took me around 5-6 hours to get all pieces i needed
@@esolucacash Thanks. But that figures I need a DK... I've never made a DK PVE build, just a PVP permablock troll tank once... I'll have to convert that to a good PVE build first.
It's basically just a heal over time which is buffed by your mitigation in a sense. You would have to do the math and see if it works out better than having more sustain.... The minor protection could free up a slot though for something else
*backbar do not work without the full Basalt set on at all time. i try it already. you only get the front bar buff but not the back bar buff if you do not have the full set active at all time. You are not getting the backbar healing buff but only the front bar ult regen buff. Turn on your buff indicator, you will know that backbar doesn't work without the full set active at all time. in order for this set up to work, you will need Basalt shield and one hand weapon on backbar with 5 pcs battalion armor.*
Funny build to watch but not useful for the team and the match besides staying alive individually. But fun to watch indeed. (If everyone was running this build there would be no match. Thats why the goal is not to stay alive individually).
That's not really a counter but ok lol I guess you can say the same thing about gankers and ball groups too, just ignore them but that's not really a counter by just running away. That's just... Running away 😂

Revealing Flare just sloted for major protection -10% dmg taken, like on the other bar
Cinder Storm should be reworked, it should grant you at least 8 seconds of healing when leaving its range.
It should also be a 5k per second heal when you sit in it as well as giving you major berserk major courage and major force for 1 min
what do you think about dropping a dmg mitigation cp for a cleanse cp for three pesky meat bags and cold fire ?
cleansing revival only procs once every 24 seconds, you would need a constant purge like on necro to be worth it ;)

basalt is only meant for major heroism in this case, even if you could double bar it for the healing increase
You know DK has an ultimate that blocks 97% damage... 18 seconds... been working on a little something myself lol
It doesn't block 97% of dmg. It reduces incoming dmg to be no more than 3% of users HP. Big difference.
A PVP Tank is the second lowest skill based set up and utility. The first are the guys stopping to fight it.

@@johna6793 nah, don't need the major courage+major bezerk. So pushing stam sustain to the max would be the priority where treaders shines.
Syrabrane would be the best, if your using immovibilitu skill from heavy armour as you can’t move anyway. Might as well get the 30% block mitigation
