Disney needs to step it up and go back to the "before times" where they kept things open for the length of the park, especially for an after-hour events.

I don't know why, but I feel like Disney after dark is hard to maneuver and it's easy to make mistakes like that because you expect everything to be open because the park is open. I've made similar mistakes, and I blame Disney. Lol.
Seriously, that makes no sense, restaurant's closed. I would have never assumed they would have no food available. The parade and the show were great. You all looked like you had a great time. I forget what the draw for you was at Pinocchio’s, but I don’t understand why they close things halfway through a party for which people pay a separate ticket. I mean maybe the restaurant hours were listed, but I feel like that shouldn’t be the issue. We were halfway through the Star Wars party in Disneyland in April, and the Rise of the Resistance ride was closed. Like that is a major reason to go to the event, and it’s closed?

Why would Disney close their restaurants during a party?! Not on you at all. You'd expect places to be serving food. People should not have to research every second of their trip, especially when you're paying extra to attend a party. That's not a fun vacation when you have to do that much digging and research. Disney should keep their restaurants open! Ignore anyone who has something snarky to say.
Mike, you spend hundreds of dollars for the event, just eat over the counter meals at Mickeys so you take advantage of everything that they have to offer. Still a good time
