I really appreciate this talk, as we can all relate to it and can benefit from Dr. Huffman's research. He expertly takes a sensitive topic and helps us understand the risk and how to react. Thanks, Erik!

I am writing about the simplification of cybersecurity right now - I took a break to watch this. I was trying to convey the limbic brain limitations within the cyber world.
"As society evolves to become a more connected the need for safety in this "new" environment will increase as well. There is no shortage of evidence to suggest that the criminal elements of society have adopted this "new" form of crime with fervor. This is not an issue that we have had to deal with before as a species and the chances of us evolving at a pace that can keep up are slim."
I have tried to convey this message before and as usual you have found a way to articulate it so well. I endorse this message - (for what that's worth)

There was a good point in here: "When you trust the messenger more than you trust the message..." - we would have better, more recent stories than this Mum-story. 16 minutes presenting a frightening problem and leaving the audience with a short "be self-reflective" as the sole solution to it? That is not really a convincing speech.
