- The majestic Jai Vilas palace, also known as Raj Bari was the residential palace of king of Mukne family. The palace was built by Raja Yashwant Rao Mukne. The stone used for this is Syinite which was brought from Kalidhond 5 Km away. The palace is a master piece of pink stone.
The Jai Vilas palace was built on the top of the hill, Surrounded by thick forest and cashew plantations. The Path way from the main gate to the palace is lined with dense growth of bushes on both sides. The domes of the palace are highly attractive and the palace itself located in the midst of lush green scenery the culture and the lifestyle of tribal kings in the erstwhile Mukne family.
