I agree. This 3.0 tour uses the same approach as The Police. That's one of the main reasons that I've bought tickets for it in Europe next year. It would be great to see the three of them together just once more. Andy is 80 years old, after all. However, sadly, I don't think that it's going to happen.
@@RealJeffTidwell I think that you misunderstood my comment. I was simply referring to Andy's age, which means that the window of opportunity for him continuing to tour is smaller than for Sting or Stewart. Andy is a decade older than Sting. Andy has frequently said that he felt The Police could have carried on making music after "Synchronicity". Similarly, he wanted to continue following the reunion tour in 2007/2008, even to the point of going into the studio to make a new album. I would thus argue that Andy is even more "ready to go" than Stewart. The man holding back a final tour is Sting, and no-one else. He has repeatedly described how the reunion put a final close to the whole chapter for him. He could have called Andy or Stewart for this tour, given its proximity to The Police in terms of approach. He didn't. He's reiterated his immovable stance on this score again as recently as this year and last.
