Varmilo VEM108 NEW Iris Blue tactile switch Unboxing and first look.

Varmilo's new IRIS BLUE tactile switches. Keyboard has white LED lightning. 108 keys. It is absolutely 100% high build quality, I think Varmilo did a great job during last 4 years. USB type C connection.
Switches are definitely tactile. I saw some reviews about those switches, and some people say that switches feel linear. I didn't use MX Browns, but I definitely can say that they are different from MX Reds. They are 45 gr, but it takes more force to activate them in comparison to MX Reds. Stabilizers omg, they are perfect. Parasitic movements of the big keys (space bar, enter, etc) are close to zero. Keys are solid. Keycaps are thick, I suppose they are one of the best in a mass market segment. Nice and very good job, Varmilo. I also have a 2018 Varmilo VA108 keyboard with MX Reds and I highly recommend new 2022 version VEM108.

Varmilo mentioned that new (2022) Iris Blue EC switch is very similar to the famous Holy Panda Switch. HP has a prolonged smooth bump, which is what it has been known for, so as Iris switch. Varmilo makes an entirely new EC tactile switch with the original typing experience of Holy Panda. As an EC switch, it avoids the physical damage risk of dust, liquid, and friction loss.
