Thank you dear brothers for such wonderful news on New Year’s Eve. I know things are getting gloriously dark and that means He is coming again! Hallelujah, Jesus Christ is Lord. Shabbat Shalom to all. God bless Israel always. 🙏❤❤️🔥✝️✡️👑🌎💦🩸🙏🤍🇮🇱🍎🙏
I was watching this as the clock struck midnight, so got to be blessed by you gentlemen as 2023 rang in! Thank you for your faithful hearts to the ministry of Jesus! Perhaps this year?? Maranatha!!
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. Rev. 21: 1-2
All symbolic language, that is how Revelation was presented. (Revelation 1:1-20) A revelation by Jesus Christ, which God gave him, to show his slaves the things that must shortly take place. And HE SENT HIS ANGEL AND PRESENTED IT IN SIGNS through him to his slave John, What does "no more sea" mean, is that literal? Will all the oceans disappear? What about the billions of creatures God created to live in the oceans? The "sea" is also symbolic; (Isaiah 57:20) “But THE WICKED ARE LIKE THE RESTLESS SEA that cannot calm down, And its waters keep tossing up seaweed and mire.
Thank you! And thank you for validating my point of view. I've believed that God is in the restoration business. Like doing an LS swap on an old Corvette. Its still cool like the old one, but better!
Rev 20:11, "Earth and sky fled from his presence, and there was no place for them." Rev 21:1 says, "Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away."
Yes these verses that you posted also we're crying allowed in my spirit as I listen to this program. But more than all verses Isaiah 65 verse 17 declares that the Lord will create a new Earth and the former shall not be remembered. I myself in scripture cannot see a renovation. To me the scripture clearly says that he's going to recreate. The Earth is the Lords and the fullness thereof. It will be done just as it is written. I myself am looking for a new Heaven and a new Earth wherein dwelleth righteousness as Peter spoke.
@@4nowandlater Read my comment above, new heavens and new earth are symbolic terms, NOT literal. The literal heavens and earth will last forever according to Scriptures. (Ecclesiastes 1:4) A generation is going, and a generation is coming, But THE EARTH REMAINS FOREVER. (Psalm 78:69) HE MADE HIS SANCTUARY AS ENDURING AS THE HEAVENS, LIKE THE EARTH THAT HE HAS ESTABLISHED FOREVER. (Psalm 104:5) HE HAS ESTABLISHED THE EARTH on its foundations; IT WILL NOT BE MOVED FROM ITS PLACE FOREVER AND EVER.
@mike jurney @dj parsons yes a NEW Earth will fulfill these words. Isaiah 66:22 “For as the new heavens and the new earth that I make shall remain before me, says the Lord, so shall your offspring and your name remain.

Read this book after Heiser's "The Unseen Realm" and in light of THAT book, this book makes perfect sense. God walked this earth! Jesus' tears and blood soaked this earth. Maranatha Lord!
@@djparsons7363 you obviously read with your eyes closed. What you are saying is actually blasphemy. You are denying Jesus as God. That's very dangerous territory.
I'm not sure can read at all, don't you see what that Scripture says? "No man has seen God at any time". Those are Jesus' own words, I think he knew who God was. How can you twist that into meaning something different?
Happy New year to everyone. Be ready for a really horrible and extremely difficult 2023. It only gets worse from here. Deny it like most will, but it won't change the facts. You have a bone sticking out of your leg! Yeah but its okay, it'll be fine. Yes, but it still doesn't take away the fact that you have a bone sticking our of your leg. How you perceive the injury doesn't change the seriousness of the situation.....
This scripture says everything will be completely burned up. 2 Peter 3:10 “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.” 11 “Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,” Revelation 20:11 “And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.”
You people that think the Heavens and Earth will be destroyed have no understanding of the Scriptures, and neither do the ignorant preachers that you believe!
Joshua was from Tribe of Ephraim. Has everyone read the Tribe of Ephraim's Book of Joshua? Really helps with showing who Jesus was in the Old Testament.
In 2 Peter its very clear that God plans to destroy the earth and the works therein by fire. The sun, the moon and the stars will melt away. Altho a renovation may be possible for the millennium kingdom, I believe the earth and 1st and 2nd heaven will be recreated.
This is not literal, the earth is not going to be destroyed. (Psalm 78:69) He made his sanctuary as enduring as the heavens, Like the earth that he has established forever.
@@laurielambaz6413 Not a new planet, the earth will last forever, as the Scripture says at Psalm 78:69. Also (Ecclesiastes 1:4) A generation is going, and a generation is coming, But THE EARTH REMAINS FOREVER. The term "earth" is symbolic, it refers to a new society of righteous people living on earth during the Millennium.
Thanks Lee!! Yes a 'renovation sounds more scriptural to me. Is 4 :5 talks about that the survivors after Armageddon in Israel even after they have been washed clean, that a canopy will be over Jerusalem to protect those there from heat, storm and rain. Sounds like a gradual renovation after the destruction to me. What do you think?
This scripture says everything will be completely burned up. 2 Peter 3:10 “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.” 11 “Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,” Revelation 20:11 “And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.”
You are so confused by these phony preachers, a canopy over Jerusalem?! That is ridiculous!! Armageddon is God's war against ALL of man's governments, they will all be completely destroyed including Israel. There will be only one Government remaining in existence, God's Kingdom ruled by Christ. The Kingdom rules from Heaven, not on earth.
@@heatheredwards163 I'm in True Christianity, what bizarre twisted pseudo religion teaches there will be a canopy over Jerusalem?! People with no knowledge of Scripture invent the most ridiculous fantasies that make no sense!
Lee, I have a question from your recent pre-trib video. You state angels cannot be redeemed. Yet, the reference of Rev 5:8-9 says the 24 elders and the four beasts fell down and said “Thou art worthy……and hast redeemed us.” The four beasts are thought to angels so why would they sing this? Thanks.
The 24 Elders of Revelation 4,5,7,11,14,10 sit on lesser thrones surrounding God's throne. They wear victors' crowns and white robes, indicating they've already been judged and rewarded. The Bible doesn't say who they are specifically, but the white robes seem to indicate they are believers who have earned a high degree of reward, such as the Apostles. Others have suggested they're angels who are dedicated to worship and so sit by God Himself. As heavenly angels do not go through judgment, though, the most likely case is that the 24 Elders are earthly believers now in glorified bodies. Revelation 4 would place the Church already having gone through the Rapture. Likely they do not just represent the Church of Philadelphia, but all Christians throughout the Church Age, and they may even be us at times (see christinprophecyblog.org/2019/05/who-are-the-24-elders-of-revelation-4/). Nathan Jones' book, "The Mighty Angels of Revelation" (see bibleprophecyresources.com/shop/the-mighty-angels-of-revelation-book/), teaches chapter-by-chapter through the book of Revelation, taken from the angels’ perspective, and goes into greater detail about the 24 Elders.
But when we get RAPTURED we get a whole new body . That's different than getting saved and becoming a new person. I don't agree I think the earth etc will be new unless watching the rest of this changes my mind ". If God says he's going to make everything new that means everything .
The Jehovah's Witnesses believe in a renovated heavens and earth vs. recreated, as well. I think I'll stick with what 2 Peter 3:10-11 says: 10) But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 11) Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
Then you are making a big mistake, the JW's are correct! Those are symbolic meanings in those Scriptures. Will you ignore other Scriptures such as these? (Psalm 104:5) He has established the earth on its foundations; It will not be moved from its place forever and ever. (Ecclesiastes 1:4) A generation is going, and a generation is coming, But THE EARTH REMAINS FOREVER.
@@djparsons7363 The sun burns and is not moved on it's foundations. The center of the earth burns and we are not consumed (yet). Please explain to me the symbology as I truly cannot see what, or when, those verses symbolize....
@@commissioner56 Peter uses the term “earth” in a figurative sense, referring to human society-in this case wicked human society. Note that Peter draws a parallel with the Flood of Noah’s day, saying " the world of that time suffered destruction". (2 Peter 3:5, 6) On that occasion, only WICKED MANKIND was destroyed; the earth itself and righteous Noah and his family survived. By the same token, Peter’s use of “heavens” would also be symbolic. In this case, “heavens” refers to human rulership over the ungodly. Thus, the incorrigibly wicked will be gone, as will all wicked governments, which will be dissolved and replaced by God’s heavenly rule, or Kingdom.-Daniel 2:44. So, will planet earth come to its end? No. What will end is the symbolic earth, or wicked human society. The earth itself and the future godly human society will last forever.-Proverbs 2:21, 22.
@@djparsons7363 The surface of the earth can (and will) burn without the earth proper being moved. This would explain Rev. 21:1: "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea." A word study of the original languages (Hebrew and Koine Greek) and as commented upon by John Gill and the gentlemen who wrote the Pulpit Commentaries yields this on 2 Peter 3:10: "and the elements shall melt with fervent heat: not what are commonly called the four elements, earth, air, tire, and water, the first principles of all things: the ancient philosophers distinguished between principles and elements; principles, they say {h}, are neither generated, nor corrupted; τα τε στοιχεια κατα την εκπυρωσιν φθειρεσθαι, "but the elements will be corrupted, or destroyed by the conflagration"; which exactly agrees with what the apostle here says: by the elements seem to be meant the host of heaven, being distinguished from the heavens, as the works of the earth are distinguished from the earth in the next clause; and design the firmament, or expanse, with the sun, moon, and stars in it, which will be purged and purified by this liquefaction by fire; the earth also will be purged and purified from everything that is noxious, hurtful, unnecessary, and disagreeable; though the matter and substance of it will continue: and the works that are therein shall be burnt up; all the works of nature, wicked men, cattle, trees, c. and all the works of men, cities, towns, houses, furniture, utensils, instruments of arts of all sorts, will be burnt by a material fire, breaking out of the earth and descending from heaven, for which the present heavens and earth are reserved: this general conflagration was not only known to the Jews, but to the Heathens, to the poets, and Platonist and Stoic philosophers, who frequently {i} speak of it in plain terms. Some are of opinion that these words refer to the destruction of Jerusalem and so the passing away of the heavens may design the removal of their church state and ordinances, Heb 12:26, and the melting of the elements the ceasing of the ceremonial law, called the elements of the world, Ga 4:3, and the burning of the earth the destruction of the land of Judea, expressed in such a manner in De 29:23, and particularly of the temple, and the curious works in that, which were all burnt up and destroyed by fire, though Titus endeavoured to prevent it, but could not {k}: which sense may be included, inasmuch as there was a promise of Christ's coming to destroy the Jewish nation, and was expected; and which destruction was a prelude of the destruction of the world, and is sometimes expressed in such like language as that is; but then this must not take place, to the exclusion of the other sense: and whereas this sense makes the words to he taken partly in a figurative, and partly in a literal way; and seeing the heavens and the earth are in the context only literally taken, the former sense is to be preferred; and to which best agrees the following use to be made of these things.;" John Gill And the elements shall melt with fervent heat. It is uncertain whether by "the elements" (στοιχεῖα) St. Peter means the four elements (in the old and popular use of the word), or the great constituent parts of the universe, the heavenly bodies. Against the first view is the assertion that one of those elements is to be the agent of destruction. But the word rendered "melt" means "shall be dissolved" or "loosed;" and it may be, as Bishop Wordsworth says, that "St. Peter's meaning seems to be that the στοιχεῖα, elements or rudiments, of which the universe is composed and compacted, will be loosed; that is, the framework of the world will be disorganized; and this is the sense of στοιχεῖα in the LXX. (Wis. 7:17; 19:17) and in Hippolytus, 'Philos.,' pages 219, 318. The dissolution is contrasted with the consistency described by the word συνεστῶσα in verse 5. The heavens are reserved for fire, and will pass away with a rushing noise, and, being set on fire, will be dissolved; the elements will be on fire and melt, and be reduced to a state of confusion; the earth and the works therein will be burnt up. There does not seem, therefore, to be any cause for abandoning the common meaning of στοιχεῖα, the elemental principles of which the universe is made." On the other hand, the word στοιχεῖα is certainly used of the heavenly bodies by Justin Martyr ('Apolog.,' 2. c. 5, and 'Dial. cum Tryphon,' c. 23); and the heavenly bodies are constantly mentioned in the descriptions of the awful convulsions of the great day. The objection that the word does not bear this meaning elsewhere in Holy Scripture is of little weight, as this is the only place in which it has a physical sense. The literal translation of the clause is, "The elements, being scorched, shall be dissolved." The word for "being scorched" (καυσούμενα) occurs in the New Testament only here and in verse 12; it is used by the Greek physicians of the burning heat of fever. The verb λυθήσεται means "shall be dissolved or loosened." The earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. By "the works that are therein" St. Peter seems to mean all the works both of God and of man, "opera naturae et artis" (Bengel). There is a very remarkable reading here (supported by the Sinaitic and Vatican and another uncial manuscript), εὑρεθήσεται, "shall be discovered," instead of κατακαήσεται, "shall be burned up." If we understand "the works that are therein" of man's works and actions, this reading will give a good sense. Or the clause may be regarded as interrogative, "Shall the earth and the works that are therein be found?" But the reading, "shall be burned up" is well supported, and suits the context best. Pulpit Commentary If you care to pursue it, there are also very enlightening studies on the verses you used in your argument. Or, if you prefer, I can post them here.
@@commissioner56 This is becoming unnecessarily complicated, what is so hard to understand about symbolic terms, the Bible is full of them? Especially Revelation, it's overwhelmingly symbolic, new heavens mean new government, God's Kingdom, and new earth means new society of righteous people under it. Rev. 21 also says "the sea is no more" and you probably think there won't be any oceans but that is also symbolic. (Isaiah 57:20) “But THE WICKED ARE LIKE THE RESTLESS SEA that cannot calm down, And its waters keep tossing up seaweed and mire. In that righteous "new earth" society there won't be any WICKED PEOPLE, that is the meaning, not all that other foolishness.
If Satan was allowed to defile God's creation so it had to be "destroyed"...satan would have "won". I agree that which satan has tried to destroy...God will restore thereby nullifying satan's efforts to steal and destroy that which God created.

Because of the principle of grace under the New Covenant, it becomes not just one day that we should set apart for the Lord, but every minute of every day. In many ways, we’ve become even more responsible in the Church Age, for the Fourth Commandment’s worship has been expanded beyond just one simple day. Yet, see how grace frees us from the Mosaic Law and so enables us to fulfill it through Jesus Christ? What's great about living under grace is that we can worship God freely. If one wishes to keep the Sabbath, or the Lord's Day or Wednesdays, or whatever day or minute of the week to worship - we can freely. That's what grace is all about, and we can praise the Lord for it.

I hate to disagree with a man that has more knowledge about the Bible than I do. I believe when I die/rapture I will receive a glorified body and live in a new heaven and earth for a thousand years. At the end we will all face the white throne judgement where we will be separated as sheep and goats. The sheep will inherent a spiritual body that will be with God in the third heaven.
The Bible teaches that the Redeemed will be judged of their works, not to determine their eternal destiny, but to determine their degrees of reward. Believers in Christ after the Rapture will face the Judgment of the Just, where we will be judged based on the works we did while on this earth. We will be judged as to the quantity of our works (Luke 19:11-27; Romans 2:6-7). We will be judged as to the quality of our works (1 Corinthians 3:10-14). Finally, we will be judged as to the motivation of our works (1 Corinthians 4:5). Any works that don't meet these criteria will be considered a loss at the Judgment of the Just, and their only rewards will be what they had received on earth (see www.lamblion.com/articles/articles_eternity4.php). In contrast, the Great White Throne Judgment is for the “rest of the dead” of Revelation 20:5, which are those who in life stayed in rebellion against God because of their continued unbelief. They will be resurrected from their holding place in Hades and appear before the Lord for final judgment. They will be judged for their works, but since they didn't accept the only work that mattered - Jesus' saving work on the cross - they will be found wanting and be sentenced to Hell (the Lake of Fire) along with Satan. It's Jesus' final victory over sin and death. For more on the various resurrections and judgments, check out www.lamblion.com/articles/articles_eternity4.php.
Isaiah 66:22 “For as the new heavens and the new earth that I make shall remain before me, says the Lord, so shall your offspring and your name remain. He said "make" This is not our home, its passing away. Let it go. We are looking for a city whose Builder and maker is the Lord. Our Earthly tents and this Earth are temporal. We look for the eternal which is not corrupted by sin.
You are wrong, this earth has always been our home and it is permanent, it will never be destroyed. You cannot interpret symbolic language as literal, it doesn't fit with other Scriptures.
Do we really just get cleansed when we are saved? We are literally made new, given new natures, created in God's nature. Just pointing that out. I think he didn't mean to just stop at cleansing.
What is the "new heavens" and the "new earth" ? The apostle Peter gives some clues at 2 Peter 3, saying that ridiculers would "deliberately ignore this fact, that long ago there were heavens and an earth standing firmly out of water and in the midst of water by the word of God; and that by those means the world of that time suffered destruction when it was flooded with water (in 2370 B.C.E.). But by the same word the heavens and the earth that NOW exist are reserved for fire and are being kept until the day of judgment and of destruction of the ungodly people."(2 Pet 3:5-7) What was Peter talking about when saying that "there were heavens and an earth standing firmly out of water and in the midst of water" ? In this context, he meant that the physical earth was surrounded by a "the heavenly ocean", or in Hebrew ham·mab·bul´ (Gen 6:17; Ps 29:10), that is the water(s) that fell down to the earth from the "heavens" or from within the atmosphere.(Note: "the heavens" at Genesis 1:6-8, Hebrew shamayim, is the atmosphere (oxygen/nitrogen) that we breathe, was placed "in the expanse ("expanse", Hebrew raqia)" or "between the waters (or the seas, see Gen 1:10) and the waters" above the earth (Gen 1:6; see Gen 1:2, whereby God took the waters completely covering the earth and placed them above the earth", and Genesis 1:8 says that "God called the expanse (or atmosphere) heaven") Peter now adds, saying that "by those means the world of that time suffered destruction when it was flooded with water", that the "world" of wicked mankind was destroyed by means of the Global Deluge.(Gen 7:21-23) Peter goes a little deeper, saying of the "world" or wicked mankind with its rulers and subjects, "but by the same word the heavens and the earth that NOW exist are reserved for fire (or destruction) and are being kept until the day of judgment and of destruction of the ungodly people (at Armageddon, Rev 16:16)". So what is the "heavens" and "earth" here in this context ? Both in this context are "the ungodly people" deserving of destruction, and as mentioned above, the "heavens" are the political rulers of this "world" or system of things, while the "earth" are their subjects that "looks up to the heavens" for direction or help, such as in disasters, or a more plain way of saying it, the political system that was created by "the dragon", Satan the Devil.(Rev 12:9; 13:1, 2) Politicians rule, while their subjects are always looking to them to "keep things going" politically, be "our "king" (see 1 Sam 8:5), "our ambassador" to other nations, "make good things happen for us", "take care of us".(see Luke 23:30, in which Jesus tells the Jews that the time would come when they will cry out to "the mountains" to "fall over us" and to "the hills, cover us over", wanting the political government in Jerusalem with its subsidiaries (or "the heavens" that the Jews look up to) to protect them when the Roman armies attacked some 37 years later, in 70 C.E.) So, at Isaiah 65:17, the "new heavens" is a government that God has created to undo the damage by the rebellion in the garden of Eden some 6,000 years ago (Gen 3:1-6), called God's heavenly Kingdom (see Matt 6:10; Mark 1:15; Luke 8:1), that was "set up" in 1914 (Dan 2:44; Rev 6:1, 2), and the "new earth" are its loyal subjects, that will be the "meek" ones that will "inherit the earth" as their everlasting home once it is transformed into a paradise.(Ps 37:11, 29; Matt 5:5; Luke 23:43)
Yahwism, the Uncountable, of the broader Levantine polytheism is not the way. Jezebel stood up to the Yahweh (the Uncountable). Unfortunately, she was representing the Baals (Lords) of Sidon and Tyre...and not the good Lord (Baal) Hadad.
Here I comment on your conversation if GOD will recreate of renovate the Earth and the Universe. As GOD writes in HIS WORD, HE will make the New Heaven and the New Heaven completely NEW. That means HE will destroy this Earth and this Universe. Please read Chapter Revelation 21: 1-5:"Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’[b] or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” Matthew 24:35 "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away." Mark 13:31"Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away." 2 Peter 3:7 "But by His word the present heavens and earth are being reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men." Revelation 20:11 "Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them." Revelation 21:1"Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea." Psalm 102:25-26 “Of old You founded the earth, And the heavens are the work of Your hands. “Even they will perish, but You endure; And all of them will wear out like a garment; Like clothing You will change them and they will be changed." 2 Peter 3:10-12 "But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up. Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be destroyed by burning, and the elements will melt with intense heat!" Isaiah 51:6 “Lift up your eyes to the sky, Then look to the earth beneath; For the sky will vanish like smoke, And the earth will wear out like a garment And its inhabitants will die in like manner; But My salvation will be forever, And My righteousness will not wane." Matthew 5:18 "For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished." Luke 16:17 "But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one stroke of a letter of the Law to fail." Dear Christ in Prophecy Ministry, I think, in this controversy, whether the earth will be renovated or recreated, GOD HIMSELF tells us the truth in Holy Scripture, in HIS WORD. I have included here in this commentary the Bible passages where God Himself writes in His Word that He will destroy this earth and this universe. God will completely destroy this EARTH, whereby this will be independent of our resurrection in the body - because we are then recognizable in our glorified body. Regardless of the resurrection of believers in a glorified body, or of the Eternal Reign of CHRIST, GOD in HIS omnipotence will destroy this sin-laden earth and also HE will destroy the sin-contaminated universe. HE will recreate a New Earth with a new universe. Why should this be an argument? God has in His omnipotence and His omniscience the ability to create a New earth and a New universe again and this serves for His glorification. God can create everything from nothing. John Mac Arthur mentions this in this short article, "Jonathan Edwards put it this way. 'Providence subordinates all changes in the affairs of mankind'. That is a great statement. Providence subordinates all changes in the affairs of mankind, and they are all subordinated to a divine plan. Everything from creation to completion is part of a great divine plan carried out by God's mighty providence. There is not a single hostile molecule acting outside this plan. History will end exactly as God wills. The actual end of history will be the end of history that He Himself brings about. This universe is not eternal. It will come to an end. It will implode in a nuclear implosion and pass out of existence. That is what the Scriptures say. But not until and unless God's plan is complete and He has no further use for this universe." Please pay attention to what GOD tells us in HIS Word, because HIS Word is the truth and not what we humans want to interpret into HIS WORD. Be as careful as the Bareaens and examine exactly GOD'S WORD.Thank you. Look forward to your feedback. Kind regards, Ruth Seilern
I appreciate your words. I too agree strongly that the word of God emphasizes in great detail the destruction and dissolving of this present Earth and Heavens as we know it. Just the idea that a HOLY, Consuming Fire, righteous God would even consider " renovating" an earth where he has been scheduled to descend out of Glory and Tabernacle with his people is inconceivable to me. The atrocities, Corruptions, and Evil doings that have happened upon the face of this Earth are not worthy of our God! Isaiah 65:17 clearly shows a picture of a new, created Earth and the former Earth will have no remembrance nor will it come to the mind of anyone dwelling upon it. Revelation 20: 11 clearly shows a picture that NO PLACE was found for them! I with you agree that our God is NOT a "fixer-upper" the word of God declares that a fire goes before him and burns up his enemies, the hills melt like Wax at the presence of the Lord! With all of my heart indeed believe that when God Tabernacles upon the face of the new Earth that he will create it will indeed be HOLY GROUND! God bless you and your words!
These preachers have a poor understanding of Scriptures, they are obviously not given insight through the Holy Spirit. The "New Heavens" and the "New Earth" are symbolic not literal. The Bible often compares a King's rulership to 'heavens" in that they rule OVER the people as the heavens are over the earth. Earth is also used figuratively to represent a society of people as for instance in Genesis 11:1 Now all the EARTH continued to be of one language and of one set of words. Obviously, earth refers to humans. The "New Heavens" refers to a new righteous government that will rule for 1,000 years, Christ's Kingdom. The "New Earth" refers to a society of peaceful righteous people living under that Kingdom's governance. During the millennium the earth and everyone on it will be restored to a state of perfection first enjoyed by Adam and Eve in the Paradise of Eden.

Raptured,,,, lol
The Jehovah's Witnesses believe in a renovated heavens and earth vs. recreated, as well.
I think I'll stick with what 2 Peter 3:10-11 says:
10) But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11) Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
Then you are making a big mistake, the JW's are correct! Those are symbolic meanings in those Scriptures. Will you ignore other Scriptures such as these?

The sun burns and is not moved on it's foundations.
(2 Peter 3:5, 6)
On that occasion, only WICKED MANKIND was destroyed; the earth itself and righteous Noah and his family survived.
@@djparsons7363
The surface of the earth can (and will) burn without the earth proper being moved.
This would explain Rev. 21:1: "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea."
A word study of the original languages (Hebrew and Koine Greek) and as commented upon by John Gill and the gentlemen who wrote the Pulpit Commentaries yields this on 2 Peter 3:10:
"and the elements shall melt with fervent heat: not what are commonly called the four elements, earth, air, tire, and water, the first principles of all things: the ancient philosophers distinguished between principles and elements; principles, they say {h}, are neither generated, nor corrupted; τα τε στοιχεια κατα την εκπυρωσιν
φθειρεσθαι, "but the elements will be corrupted, or destroyed by the conflagration"; which exactly agrees with what the apostle here says: by the elements seem to be meant the host of heaven, being distinguished from the heavens, as the works of the earth are distinguished from the earth in the next clause; and design the firmament, or expanse, with the sun, moon, and stars in it, which will be purged and purified by this liquefaction by fire;
the earth also will be purged and purified from everything that is noxious, hurtful, unnecessary, and disagreeable; though the matter and substance of it will continue:
and the works that are therein shall be burnt up; all the works of nature, wicked men, cattle, trees, c. and all the works of men, cities, towns, houses, furniture, utensils, instruments of arts of all sorts, will be burnt by a material fire, breaking out of the earth and descending from heaven, for which the present heavens and earth are reserved: this general conflagration was not only known to the Jews, but to the Heathens, to the poets, and Platonist and Stoic philosophers, who frequently {i} speak of it in plain terms. Some are of opinion that these words refer to the destruction of Jerusalem and so the passing away of the heavens may design the removal of their church state and ordinances, Heb 12:26, and the melting of the elements the ceasing of the ceremonial law, called the elements of the world, Ga 4:3, and the burning of the earth the destruction of the land of Judea, expressed in such a manner in De 29:23, and particularly of the temple, and the curious works in that, which were all burnt up and destroyed by fire, though Titus endeavoured to prevent it, but could not {k}: which sense may be included, inasmuch as there was a promise of Christ's coming to destroy the Jewish nation, and was expected; and which destruction was a prelude of the destruction of the world, and is sometimes expressed in such like language as that is; but then this must not take place, to the exclusion of the other sense: and whereas this sense makes the words to he taken partly in a figurative, and partly in a literal way; and seeing the heavens and the earth are in the context only literally taken, the former sense is to be preferred; and to which best agrees the following use to be made of these things.;" John Gill
And the elements shall melt with fervent heat.
Pulpit Commentary
If you care to pursue it, there are also very enlightening studies on the verses you used in your argument. Or, if you prefer, I can post them here.
@@commissioner56 This is becoming unnecessarily complicated, what is so hard to understand about symbolic terms, the Bible is full of them?

But by the same word the heavens and the earth that NOW exist are reserved for fire and are being kept until the day of judgment and of destruction of the ungodly people."(2 Pet 3:5-7)
What was Peter talking about when saying that "there were heavens and an earth standing firmly out of water and in the midst of water" ? In this context, he meant that the physical earth was surrounded by a "the heavenly ocean", or in Hebrew ham·mab·bul´ (Gen 6:17; Ps 29:10), that is the water(s) that fell down to the earth from the "heavens" or from within the atmosphere.(Note: "the heavens" at Genesis 1:6-8, Hebrew shamayim, is the atmosphere (oxygen/nitrogen) that we breathe, was placed "in the expanse ("expanse", Hebrew raqia)" or "between the waters (or the seas, see Gen 1:10) and the waters" above the earth (Gen 1:6; see Gen 1:2, whereby God took the waters completely covering the earth and placed them above the earth", and Genesis 1:8 says that "God called the expanse (or atmosphere) heaven")
Peter now adds, saying that "by those means the world of that time suffered destruction when it was flooded with water", that the "world" of wicked mankind was destroyed by means of the Global Deluge.(Gen 7:21-23) Peter goes a little deeper, saying of the "world" or wicked mankind with its rulers and subjects, "but by the same word the heavens and the earth that NOW exist are reserved for fire (or destruction) and are being kept until the day of judgment and of destruction of the ungodly people (at Armageddon, Rev 16:16)".
So what is the "heavens" and "earth" here in this context ? Both in this context are "the ungodly people" deserving of destruction, and as mentioned above, the "heavens" are the political rulers of this "world" or system of things, while the "earth" are their subjects that "looks up to the heavens" for direction or help, such as in disasters, or a more plain way of saying it, the political system that was created by "the dragon", Satan the Devil.(Rev 12:9; 13:1, 2)
Politicians rule, while their subjects are always looking to them to "keep things going" politically, be "our "king" (see 1 Sam 8:5), "our ambassador" to other nations, "make good things happen for us", "take care of us".(see Luke 23:30, in which Jesus tells the Jews that the time would come when they will cry out to "the mountains" to "fall over us" and to "the hills, cover us over", wanting the political government in Jerusalem with its subsidiaries (or "the heavens" that the Jews look up to) to protect them when the Roman armies attacked some 37 years later, in 70 C.E.)
So, at Isaiah 65:17, the "new heavens" is a government that God has created to undo the damage by the rebellion in the garden of Eden some 6,000 years ago (Gen 3:1-6), called God's heavenly Kingdom (see Matt 6:10; Mark 1:15; Luke 8:1), that was "set up" in 1914 (Dan 2:44; Rev 6:1, 2), and the "new earth" are its loyal subjects, that will be the "meek" ones that will "inherit the earth" as their everlasting home once it is transformed into a paradise.(Ps 37:11, 29; Matt 5:5; Luke 23:43)
He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”
Matthew 24:35 "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away."
Mark 13:31"Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away."
2 Peter 3:7 "But by His word the present heavens and earth are being reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men."
Revelation 20:11 "Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them."
Revelation 21:1"Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea."
Psalm 102:25-26 “Of old You founded the earth,
And the heavens are the work of Your hands.
“Even they will perish, but You endure;
And all of them will wear out like a garment;
Like clothing You will change them and they will be changed."
2 Peter 3:10-12 "But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up. Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be destroyed by burning, and the elements will melt with intense heat!"
Isaiah 51:6 “Lift up your eyes to the sky,
Then look to the earth beneath;
For the sky will vanish like smoke,
And the earth will wear out like a garment
And its inhabitants will die in like manner;
But My salvation will be forever,
And My righteousness will not wane."
Matthew 5:18 "For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished."
Luke 16:17 "But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one stroke of a letter of the Law to fail."
Dear Christ in Prophecy Ministry,
I think, in this controversy, whether the earth will be renovated or recreated, GOD HIMSELF tells us the truth in Holy Scripture, in HIS WORD. But not until and unless God's plan is complete and He has no further use for this universe."
Please pay attention to what GOD tells us in HIS Word, because HIS Word is the truth and not what we humans want to interpret into HIS WORD.
You are completely WRONG, you wasted a lot of typing to prove it.
