@@LBastone Nah you just want to argue about something that nothing to do with you. Again, I am not debating the quality or craftsmanship but there are design flaws and other belts out there look more like the OG BG. Stop with the insults and grow up a little. No one is trolling. Go live your life.
@@LBastoneI have to disagree, I own the CS Premium and compared mine to the book the Big Gold and it’s painstakingly close. Nothing else comes close to it. Just purchased the updated wwe shop crumrine with the fixed font, closest thing to this lol great belt. I may have to buy this one now, didnt know c4 was taking orders.
@@RussianNightmareno, it's not. It's a replica. You can't say in one post you've been collecting for 20 plus years then in another say a shop replica is "better" than a real belt made by a silversmith..
@@LBastone I did say it and I will say it again. Your statement makes no sense. One has nothing to do with the other. The wwe shop replica looks more similar to the OG BG than the C4.
@@LBastone No Sir, I understand your point there. But again, please understand the context in which I am saying better. This is meant as no disrespect to Colin or his team for the effort they put in. It's a nice belt and all, but ya can hype it up with the process of who and how it's made to give it more prestige, but I'd rather have it look more like the original. I like the Classic Shields and the Arosha Crumrine. That's just me to each their own.
You guys know “German silver” isn’t silver and does not contain silver right? It’s copper, nickel, and zinc. I feel like it’s kinda common sense that it’s not solid silver lol. You mentioned that it’s not plated also..are you suggesting that the gold floral pattern, wrestlers, rope border, and stone holders are solid gold? Don’t get me wrong, the belt looks nice and is probably great quality but you probably shouldn’t give people the idea that it is made of precious metals that, alone, would be 10x+ the cost that you paid for the belt.
C4 is fooling everyone, people did not do their homework and overpaid. Kudos to C4 lol It happens all the time just like people paying over 40k for a Dodge
How are these guys being Groovey G and the Shoprine in this conversation? They’re replicas not real belts. This diminishes their credibility if you ask me. They say the CS doesn’t come close, we’ll get a CS Premium and compare them and prove your point please!
Well its very nice but there too many flaws to say its close to the real BG. I know thats what C4 wants people to believe but all you have to do is just look at it. The shape is off, the engraving is off as well. He says he worked with the family of the OG engraver and that is very cool but since the kids didn't work on this belt back in 86 its possible that they are remembering things not the correct way. Just look at the engraving between the floral designs and it looks off. This is not intended to make anyone mad but just my honest opinion as a belt collector of 20+ years and I don't mean Figs or shop replicas. I have also had the pleasure of visiting with the actual BG and taking many pictures for myself, so I can compare very easily. Colin is also a but unhinged and tends to lash out at those asking questions when it's questioning certain aspects of the belt. Not to mention blocking people on FB.If this belt was just like what it was intended to be, I don't think he would be pushing it this hard. The work would speak for itself. BUT, all that said, if you like it, that's all that matters and congrats to you. Please enjoy!
What’s the actual point of leaving this comment? I’ve been in the hobby for as long as you and have owned belts from just about any maker out there (outside of garbage overseas belts) and I believe process wise, this is the closest thing we’ve got. I have also seen the OG big gold on multiple occasions and acknowledge if anyone makes a belt with that same process it could never be identical. I can tell you for fact that C4 works directly with not only the Ortiz family but also the crumrine family. We will never have an identical copy of the OG because it’s handmade but this is closer than anything else that exists simply because the process its made by. It’s not etched zinc carved into like all the others. I’m not sure what the point of your comment was but I feel like you are rather miserable if you can’t just sit back and enjoy this for what it is because up until now the closest thing we really had was the millican cast, which had its own set of issues.
@@LBastone - I thought my point was pretty clear and I said nothing about the quality or the process. It's clearly well made, but has glaring issues. I stated to the owner that as long as he likes it, that's all that matter. P.S. Millican's cast was a remake for Teddy S. So it was the closest to the OG BG, the only thing that was wrong was the rosettes were too big, which Teddy had foxed on the main plate.
