I was blessed to meet BB the year of this concert- I worked in a small club in NY and he played there. I had the privilege of working security at his dressing room back stage. He took the time to meet with anyone that wanted to see him after the show. Such a kind person - I could tell he truly loved his fans and fed off of their energy. I will never forget shaking his hand and feeling that huge ring on his hand. When I asked him if I could touch Lucille - he said pick her up !!! I was so nervous I handed Lucille back to him to put down in fear of fumbling. On top of all that he just ripped on that guitar!!! And sang his soul out. An amazing person with an aura that just took over the building but still humble and loving. Good bless BB!!!❤I feel honored to have met him a true legend and gentleman!

When I read Buddy Guy's autobiography, I was rather disappointed to learn that a lot of the original bluesmen were rather abrasive characters (though I understand that the circumstances they had to deal with would contribute to such a personality). But not B.B., he comes across as the perfect gentleman, which is consistent with how almost everybody who ever met him also described him.
Riley King I had the pleasure of seeing bb 3 times and I must say he never played me cheap... it was plain for all to see that he truly enjoyed what he was doing, the look of pure pleasure was there for all to see!
