Nice to see someone actually DO SOMETHING with this equipment. I have 2 sons with shops and am thinking of getting one of these for each of them. I'm in Canada so a lot more expensive in Canadian dollars but it looks like once someone understands how to use it and works carefully ...the results can be good.
So glad to see you back. You have amazing welding skills.and the plasma cutter looks scary good. The thumb nail doesn’t do this video justice.
What a great project to come back with 👏
Amazing work, Sebastian! Really well done! 😃
Some day I need to make something like that!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thank you very much! I wanted to make one for ages, now that my dad had to cut down some trees it comes very handy. Hopefully in a few years I can make something with the wood.
Very nice job on that build & it appears to work great! 👍👍
Thanks Steve! I appreciate it
Great job and video!
Thanks a lot
Best contraption I've seen of this kind! Well done.
Köszi Apu ❤
Thanks! 😊
great job...milling your own lumber is satisfying.
Thanks 🙏 it really is!
Very Impressive build.
Thanks a lot! I had fun making it!
At the 5 minute mark, I recognised a chainsaw mill taking shape. Awesome job, Sebastian. 👍
Thank you! I’m Trying to beat the algorithm….😅
Awesome 👏. Hopefully you will get great use out of this
Cheers! We have a few logs to cut up.
Thanks
Nice Alaskan mill mate. Have you included a scale to tell you the depth of each slab since you made this video? I know its invaluable in my (store bought version) Alaskan mill.
Cheers, no I haven’t, i just used a folding ruler. But that would come handy for sure.
I like the build, just curious if you switched to a ripping blade rather than a standard cross-cutting blade?
Thanks, no sadly I can’t find a ripping chain anywhere and we don’t have amazon where I live. Is there any benefit of using one?
@@Ollaris apparently it creates a smoother cut more suitable for slabs. Something to do with the geometry of the teeth.
Yeah the surface with this chain isn’t pretty.
