i think they absolutely know how the band goes.they dont need to listen what listener want,it because this is their own art and creativity.that is 1349.totally raw and crushing!

Not a hater or a fan but it just sounds like every run of the mill Black Metal band out there. There's nothing unique or significant to set them apart from the pack. Black Metal is known for taking chances and this, unfortunately, comes off as generic. Great musicianship and vocals but that's it; the music and lyrics are forgettable. Again, not a hater, just wish 1349 stretched the boundaries versus playing it safe.
Great Album, one of their best. As always, delivering really unique and soulcrushing fast blasts. Voice is a little too tame and melodic for me on this one, too disney - upgrade the hate my friends!
Alright so God Devourer is possibly the best song of the album with such an organic guitar Ash of ages and Shadow Point are meh Inferior Pathway is shit, it felt like being force fed something expired and stale Inner Portal was a pleasant curved ball The Vessel and the storm was possibly my other favorite song of the album, groovy and solid Obscura was also nice Fatalist was also good Too bad, when the album starts becoming decent it finishes. The oddly placed solos are good themselves but the songwriting itself is a bit puzzling. I am a bit disappointed honestly.

Little bit boring review. It gets better with every listen. The mixing in my opinion makes it sound chaotic at first but Ive had it on repeat since the first four songs were released and with each playthrough Im able to appreciate it. Its a chaotic masterpiece
