Not yet. I haven’t really started working on them. They are very hard on the body and I am still in growing phases. Plus, the B value is not that great for the pressure on the shoulders and elbows.
I really dislike that gymnastic rings excludes girls and women. I have met and trained with girls and women who can outperform many men on pull ups - maybe not at olympic levels, but then again you have to be a male dwarf to perform there anyways due to strength density and leverage. gymnastics really still is something that seperates on a questionable basis.
@@EthanCoxGymnastics You have a fair point. As to the WAG: yeah, it certainly shows: calisthenics (street gymnastics) is at an all time high, yet most gyms are having huge trouble keeping gymnasts ... either change what is driving people away or die out slowly ;)
@@markfrinch7865 Adults who want to do gymnastics, especially if they want to train it seriously, have very few options available to them at gymnastics gyms. Many places won't take adults at all. Adults are typically lucky to find an open gym or a one hour tumbling class once a week. The ability to join a team where everyone's around your same level with a coach who expects the best of you and practices that are multiple hours daily just doesn't exist, sadly--yet there are plenty of options to do so through yoga, CrossFit, calisthenics. In the last couple decades, the American gymnastics culture changed to focus solely on younger kids. It wasn't always that way, though, and adults are treated differently in other sports. I'm hoping that changes soon--and that's spoken as an adult who'd really love this option.
@@SpriteoftheDnieper It wont, that is why crossfit (I do not like it, bad technique all over the place(s!)) and especially calisthenics has boomed like never ever before.

I think every sport favors a certain body type. And I think if the WAG wanted other events then they would select them.
