My favorite recovery story to this day is when my friend retied her point shoes on stage.
Her ribbons got undone mid-performance but by some stroke of luck, it was right before she had to fold onto the floor (like the swans at 1:10). I didn't notice because there were many people between us but I saw the video later and she got it RIGHT on time.
