Note: In this video, we use vocabulary words/titles to help aid your understanding of the movement, BUT this vocabulary isn’t necessarily the only “correct” terminology! We use these words in our practice because they were either taught to us or we didn’t know what they were called and made something up! We are using these terms and vocab as a teaching tool, but we do not claim that these moves are proprietary to us.

It's against unspoken rules to use a move that doesn't belong to you. It's good manners to give credit to the genre of dance and artist you learned it from.

This move has existed for as long as there has been dance in various forms. Who do you think invented it????

@@JasonWeis-gw6zd U know dam well where they got the move from. If u borrow moves from certain genres of dance & specifically from a youtube vid u saw, its good to give credit. Better not do that in los angeles or NY. People know where that move is from. Cringe.

@@kendalgee5808 Unfortunately, I do not. And you need to realise that this move has existed since the 60's! Sure, there are variations and slight differences, but you would struggle to patent this because you would not be able to prove ownership. I am only replying to you this one time (yes, I know feeding trolls is silly) because I am hoping that young dancers out there are not intimated by this type of vitriol and feel free to express themselves however they want. As for yourself, good luck on your journey.
