My brother in Christ, you are not gonna make it five rears without re watching these films. The urge will take you at least once every year or so for the rest of your natural life.
Pro tip: if you read the books you’ll get that feeling of being introduced to this world and everything being new again because there’s sooo much more. I’m not sure if you’re into reading but you could try the audiobooks if you’d prefer
I’m at 45:42 right now and YOU NEED TO GET THE BOOKS!! The movies are like summaries of the books I swear. Especially the ending. You’re gonna sob your way through the ending!
If you want to return to Lotr (a bit) someday. There’s a video by Josh Gad here on TH-cam which is a (online) reunion of some actors & it brings tears to my eyes every time I watch it ^^
Bro Stephen fry reading them on the audio books are epic, they used extracts in this which was epic! if you don't want to wait for the right books...they are waiting
Every year, watching the Harry Potter movies or reading the books has become more than just a tradition for me; it’s like stepping back in time. Each time I press play, it feels as magical as the first, as if no years have slipped by. Suddenly, I’m that little girl again, wide-eyed with wonder, discovering this world for the very first time. The familiar scenes, the music, the characters-they all welcome me back, reminding me of who I was then and somehow who I still am. What I’m trying to say is : You’re not going to make it 5 years without watching the series at least a couple of times. 😂
Awww, I thought they were good movies. Now if they could have kept a Grindelwald through the movies... that'd have been great. As it is, it's like that role is the DADA professor. 😆
If you think this hurts, imagine being 10 years old when the series first started, and then watching this with your 10 year old child. 💚 I, quite literally, grew up with this series.
The books are going to be an incredible journey for you. They're like the films in many aspects but very different in others. It'll be like experiencing the story again for the first time.
Goblet of fire has always been my favourite pretty sure it's not many people's favourite but I love how different from the first 3 it was and it was funny as hell😁
Also miss all the ones who passed since this reunion,, Maggie Smith,, Robbie Coltrane,, Michael Gambon,, heck I didn’t realize the guy who played Cornelius Fudge had passed soon after his last appearance in Order
Albus says Pleas to Severeus because he knew he didn't want to do it. But like "please you promised you would do it, everyting will fall apart if you don't do it"
If you havent yet i really recommend watchign the behind the scenes of lord of the rings! The amount of detail and love that went into all of it is just insane. I find myself rewatching them all the time just because of the sense of community you get. Also seeing the live acting of Andy Serkis is the best thing you will ever see.
About the common rooms, another reason to read the books, as there is some action happening in Slytherin and Ravenclaw rooms and they are described in the books. I think the only one not described is the Hufflepuff one ?!
When you rewatch, you should look closer to Hagrid in the background and see if you can spot the one that isn’t Robbie Coltrane. If you have to pause so you can read everything and see everything, you should do so.
What i have them. In english, all of them because i couldnt wait for them to be translated into Finnish so atleast the 4th one was shipped from UK so it came the same week it came out
Since the documentary was released we've of course lost both Michael Gambon and Maggie Smith as well. It's rather sobering to realize that in the first scene of the franchise back in Philosopher's Stone all the actors are dead, except for baby Harry.😭
TH-camr : Veggie Gamer does book review( after reacting the movies) now we are almost at end of Goblet of fire. He does it. he listens 2-3 chapters and takes a notes and then over on Patreon there is this book club and he reads other's comment of said chapters. I think it is really cood consept. He's dyslexic so audiobook is the way to go =) Edit: he also watches the parts of the movie of those chapters, and BTW there is a lot you don't know yet=)
I would love to hear about what you think about the books. Maby you could do some book club videos. I love the format of veggi gamer. maby you could do something in that direction. But I would love to go on a second harry potter journey.m with you.
In the Deathly Hallows book, Harry does get to go into the Ravenclaw common room with Luna while looking for The Lost Diadem of Ravenclaw. JK Rowling did say that originally, she had planned for Harry to visit all 4 common rooms in the books at one point or another. But then she realized that no matter how much she tried, she couldn't find a good reason as to why Harry would go into the Hufflepuff common room. So she chose to leave out that information. She did describe it in interviews after the release of the Deathly Hallows book and even wrote about it the original Pottermore site. The good news is that developers of the Hogwarts Legacy video game (who are huge Harry Potter fans) created each common room not only according to what was written in the books but JK Rowling wrote in Pottermore and described in interviews. 🏰🦅🦡🦁🐍👍 BTW, Pottermore's name was later changed to "Wizarding World" and then very, very recently changed again to just simply "Harry Potter". Just in case you ever wish to look for the site yourself. It's very worth doing. 👩💻👍
Honestly, I prefer the reunion over the series and Fantastic Beasts series as well. The fact that Alan, Robbie and Maggie died in real life a few months/years afterwards is something I can't get over. Like God, of ALLLLL the people, WHY THEM?!😭😭😭😭 Also, notice how they're relatively around the same age as their characters 19 years after the war, but look 10x better. lmao 😂
you really REALLY need to read the books ..... there are soooo much that is in the books that they could not have put or that they had to change because it was movies ..... You will sincerely love them. Promise you
Some Harry Potter adjacent material I think you'd really enjoy is Epic Rap Battles of History: Harry Potter vs Star Wars found at th-cam.com/video/Ver1OZdK2bA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=dETGb8tXGPMHL24s & StarKid - A Very Potter Musical found at th-cam.com/video/Fu3rG5Vd8Bk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=_-8fPrvaaWK7s7JP (this is the best quality version of the musical but I recommend checking out their other shows on the StarKid TH-cam page as they did three Harry Potter musicals total and the last had the actual Luna Lovegood actress in it). They're both excellent and worth at least a watch if not a full reaction.
That comment abou not seeing enough of the common rooms and all that.... damn. Really got to me. Bro you're a gamer, right? You NEED to play Hogwarts Legacy not gonna lie. You would really like it. You could even stream it or maybe just make a highlight video.
Also Coltrane died roughly 10 months later. That scene where he says he won’t be here kills me so hard.
RIP to Michael Gambon and Maggie Smith as well.
😢Me too!
My brother in Christ, you are not gonna make it five rears without re watching these films. The urge will take you at least once every year or so for the rest of your natural life.

Truer words have never been spoken
Every year at Christmas time 😂
@@lillyvanpug I don't even make it to Christmas... Once Fall hits it's go time haha
@@Bonetti.23I don’t even make it to fall, I rewatched them myself this past spring/summer
The Hagrid line killed me when he first said it, and now 🥹🥹🥹

Idk how you didn't cry bro. I've seen the reunion like 5 times now and I still can't hold the tears back
This is so much more emotional and impactful for those of us that grew up with these books and films.
If you want to return to Lotr (a bit) someday. There’s a video by Josh Gad here on TH-cam which is a (online) reunion of some actors & it brings tears to my eyes every time I watch it ^^
I love how you notice and appreciate all the unseen things. That's great. Plus I love how you present yourself. Really cool.
So glad you did this reaction.
Bro Stephen fry reading them on the audio books are epic, they used extracts in this which was epic! if you don't want to wait for the right books...they are waiting
exactly. i'm listening them now. he is great!!
@@mondfee71I’m so glad audible brought the Stephen fry books to the us.
The end of the Harry/Voldemort fight is VERY different in the movie from the book.

Omg omg omg I WAITED for this!!!
there is so much on you tube about harry potter.

YOU STILL HAVE TO WATCH THE FANTASTIC BEASTS SERIES!!! IT TAKES PLACE IN THE WIZARDING WORLD AND DUMBLEDOR IS IN IT!!!
Just as long as he knows they're nothing like HP
It’s not fantastic
Awww, I thought they were good movies. Now if they could have kept a Grindelwald through the movies... that'd have been great. As it is, it's like that role is the DADA professor. 😆
I would love to se you do the official sorting and wand quizzes on pottermore. love your reactions to the sires dude

It has been an absolute pleasure going on this journey with you! And no matter how many times I see the reunion- I tear up each time.
We all feel that one, too.
For a more light hearted Potter-Nostalgia, I can recommend the "Very Potter Musical".
this series is a big part of my childhood and my friends childhood maaaaaaaaaan
Oh I'm so early. Thank you for this! I really needed a good cry 😂💖
R.i.P / * to all of the brilliant actors who passed from the world of Harry Potter
Im 52 man...and probably have watched the entire series 52 times 😅...it's still great 👍
I can only watch this reunion so many times. But your commentary is always a joy to watch. So I guess I'll give it another go lol.

You should watch the behind the scenes of the lord of the rings trillogy, let's see which one hits you harder
is this on TH-cam? as I've seen quite a few off these around. I'll definitely check it out
@@Kay-Pee naturally if you do watch it please do a reaction 🤣

Helen McCrory was in Peaky Blinder as Aunt Pol. Watch that if you want to see her acting excellence.
I cried. After all this time? Always.
I might recommend tom Felton's biography, beyond the wand, some great insight deeper onto the films from his perspective, was a great read
You realize that at the end of the movies was the scene which 19 years had passed. Now this is 20 years after the last movie.
no not the last movie. the first was 2001.
About the common rooms, another reason to read the books, as there is some action happening in Slytherin and Ravenclaw rooms and they are described in the books. I think the only one not described is the Hufflepuff one ?!
22:30 he was going for a cold plunge in the lake. hope that clears it up
The Fool Director thing started from the third movie.
When you rewatch, you should look closer to Hagrid in the background and see if you can spot the one that isn’t Robbie Coltrane. If you have to pause so you can read everything and see everything, you should do so.
This reaction series was a joy to watch! Thank you so much! You’re going to have so much fun with Hogwarts Legacy
Professor Lupin was always my favourite cause he actually taught them stuff ou t of all the Dark arts😅
To be fair, so did Barty Crouch Jr 😂
OMG THE AUDIOBOOKS ARE WORTH IT IF YOU'RE STILL WAITING FOR THE HARDBOUND!
Every time I hear 50 years time they’ll still be talking about hagrid.. sadly I won’t be here.. he breaks me
What i have them. In english, all of them because i couldnt wait for them to be translated into Finnish so atleast the 4th one was shipped from UK so it came the same week it came out
If you do decide to read the series (prior to getting early editions), the audiobooks are really good! Stephen Fry's versions are the absolute best!!!
You can get the books (original fronts) on world of books.
It may be over with these movies but there are always the books abd the streaming series coming out in a couple years.
Since the documentary was released we've of course lost both Michael Gambon and Maggie Smith as well. It's rather sobering to realize that in the first scene of the franchise back in Philosopher's Stone all the actors are dead, except for baby Harry.😭

You know HBO will be doing a tv series version and it’s scheduled to premiere in 2026.
You’ve still got Fantastic Beasts to look forward to 😉

Cuaron gave all of Ron's parts to Emma because of the essay he didn't write.

Tom Felton aka Draco Malfoy was already 14 in the 1st movie.

I want to think Daniel Radcliffe went HBC instead of RAB.
