The biggest saga since Ross and Rachel. This was such a tragic ending for them and for us viewers. I'm watching the show for the 2nd time and I've just navigated Will dying. The writers and actors did a phenomenal job of telling the story
I watched this video on season 5 episode 5.. it did give me a cushion from the upcoming heart break but after episode 15 the series was never the same. I wish there was a world where they did end up together ❤
I watched this series when it started back back in 2009 and until the end... It took me days to get over Will dying, they never got the happy ending they deserved (Originally the writers ended the series with Alicia and Will to be an official couple) It's such a shame that Josh Charles wanted to leave the show thus killing his character off
I always wondered what the original ending was gonna be if Amish hadn’t decided to leave. Did they actually say that somewhere? That Alicia and Will were supposed to end up together or was that just speculation?
Will was the glue that tied everything together. He was the main man for all 3 female characters: alicia, diane and kalinda. He was so interesting, smart, cunning but with a good heart. He was irrepleaceble.

Will wanted her. She was all he water the issue was her and her issues with her marriage and kids. She needed to have the balls to choose him and she didn’t that’s on her
I really wanted them together and couldn’t believe when he died. But about the voicemail, I think its just unfair for eli. they got together after the voicemail incident. They were together but couldn’t maintain their relationship. I don’t see any point in blaming Eli, he was so wrong with deleting and then hiding it from her. But they had their chance later. I’m just so sorry this ruined her friendship with eli:(
I thought that too, but then I realised that the whole time they were together, they never told each other they loved each other. She never knew Will loved her. That was the kicker.
She forgave him when she healed. Still..., was none of his business erasing the message. Things could have been different if she got it, you don't know. She needed to hear it shen he sent it. She was confused, will was confused because of what Eli did, and Eli knew it, he wouldn't have felt so crippled with guilt had he not known.
