I think we need to watch out for UCLA or Minnesota in his recruitment. He’s a dual sport track athlete. Honestly it’s probably what’s best for his career. He’s a freak!
Damon thnks none of the Nebraska guys will leave, yet 6 scholarship in-state Nebraska guys have left (Hall, McMoriss, Kaelin, Coleman, Bork and now Lloyd). Players from Nebraska aren't hanging around. I actually wonder if Bonner hangs around? Like where is his place next season with Haarberg moving to TE?
I hate this. I thought Jaylen Loyd should have been a starter along with Barney. I hope he comes back, but with the transfers coming in I doubt it. I wish him the very best!
Its sad too see him leave, but at the same time, not really suprised by it! With key and Hunter coming in! He was gonna get deeper in the rotation! And with mozee and mills coming also! They both I can see getting more playing time then Lloyd
It’s a loss but not a huge loss. He’s afraid of competition which is a character flaw. We need athletes that want to be here and aren’t afraid of competition.
Sad to see, but not the biggest loss, considering who we have coming in... with Mills, Mozzee, Key, Hunter, Barney for next year.. Makes me wonder though does Daikel Shorts and crew go after the Kentucky Freshman WR that entered the portal yesterday as a pivot..? Something to think about
19 catches in 2 years. Some say under utilized, others would say lack of production when he got chances. Best of luck either way, upgrading is painful and risky for both team and player. Hope he lands where he can get production up.
Like others have said I wish he could have figured a way to stay but some others are right also....we didn't for whatever reason, didn't utilize his talents either so I can only wish him the very best of Luck....
Another talented local kid squeezed out by transfer portal additions. At this rate local kids wont even want to come here because they know someone from the portal will squeeze them out of playing time.
Lloyd was very inexperienced. He had another good year to go to figure out how to run a good pattern. I hate to lose Nebraska kids, but this is college football now. I can't believe that they still have to actually go to class.
The WR room is being significantly upgraded in 2025 - There are only 11 starters on offense and he would have been lucky to make the 2 deep next year...
They wouldn't throw to him enough. He was fast like Palmer was, just let him outrun his guy, throw it deep to him,but they wanted to play Neyor over him.Maybe they'll offer him more money to stay. He's good.I'd like him to stay, but he probably won't.Our loss is somebody elses gain.Hopefully he goes to a team that we don't have to play so we won't have to try and cover him.
He, Lloyd, is a deep threat and Raiola doesn't throw the deep ball for crap. Just floats up a jump ball. He doesn't have the arm strength to GUN IT IN THERE on the money deep.
alot of the in state kids seem to be leaving prob the staff being more cut throat about the roster now that its smaller for a coach to last in this era cant be nice about having local kids just cus anymore its nice when a nebraska kid can be a player but i feel like we recruit to many kids just because there local lol
Just looking at the too deep, this really isn't a Nebraska team anymore. I'd like to think that at least half the kids would be from home state we're way less than that.
Being fast doesn't make you an excellent WR. It's one trait. I don't know that he was as complete as we needed him to be to get guaranteed reps. There's too much talent in this room.
I mean they brought in like a bunch of WRs from the portal every year and they recruit a bunch of 4 stars receiver in the freshman class… no point of having him on the roster if he’s not playing
A lot of these young men don't want to compete And that's a problem for them They want to go somewhere and thinking they just can start You're gonna have to compete wherever you go You got to compete in the pros Any wide receiver at Nebraska Should be very happy With this new offensive coordinator that they have And Nebraska is cleaning the house And this is going on all across the country People coming and going So this is not shocking to me at all But Nebraska is bringing in football players that want to play That are serious football players and that's what they need You see what Deion Sanders did and look what they're doing College football is a business now Just like the pros Get rid of those players that don't want to be here I let them go don't worry about it it's it's spilled milk Focus on Football players at Nebraska are bringing in that done signed with Nebraska That are here with Nebraska and that's it I wouldn't worry about the rest of them They made a decision They have to live with it And this is why I said The college football league needs to get a hold of this crazy Transferring These young men and women should only be able to transfer one time in their career Half of them ain't gonna be there but two or three years anyway The ones who are going to the pros to four and five stars So it's ridiculous to let these kids try for every season it's the joke In the universe is are paying for it This is not right These young men and women Have to take responsibility of their choices And learn that they have to live live with it and deal with it like real life You can't just drop every time drop something every time it gets rough You got to stick it out work it out Like in life But this is setting a bad example for these young men and women Then when they don't like something or something they write they can just quit We ain't teaching them Morals and values They need to change that Today can transfer one time In their career And that's it And they need to put a cap a limit on how much Young men and women can get paid This needs some kind of control somebody has to get in there and control what the hell is going on
An underkying point is not focused. Not so much lloyd but the kack of the offensive line strength not giving Dylan time to throw the long ball accurately to lloyd. You can have the fastest best wide receivers, but if you have no time to throw it to them. . Any wide receiver is mute. Dykan thtowing numbers is accentuated with the lack of tune to throw. Look at the screens violume. Its not the OC coach fault. Play callung ..ts o line personal! And Dykans eyes were on the rush a lot his first year not the receiver. Check the videos. If GBR does not focus recruiting offensive lineman....penny up in the NIL transfer portal .no great quarterback...wide receiver ..running back will matter. Shout out and give the love to Big Man Offensive Lineman Ballin! We see you Warrior's! GBR!
This is a massive fail in the Rhule administration. So much for development. Lloyd should have had at least 50% of Neyor’s snaps. It’s hard to have a ton of confidence in this staff with some of the bonehead decisions they’ve made.
I would be pretty salty if we didn’t have such a loaded room and he ended up leaving. With Barney, Hunter, Key, Mozee, and Mills it would be hard to see meaningful playing time.
If you have all this knowledge on the whys he is leaving, why do you act like it’s a big thing. Sounds like he wasn’t ready to be a starter. We are bringing in starters, he should leave.
He’s not a stud. Percy Harvin was a stud, this guys been in our system for 2 years and has 20 catches. He’s fast but not a stud. Routes were average at best. Not really losing much. Look at what’s coming in. Again I say, NOT A LOSE!
not really a big loss, he didnt produce much for the 2 years hes been at nebraska. he wasnt going to get any touches next years anyways. better for him to leave
@ agree to disagree. Kid had speed, could’ve had more playing time. I don’t think Jahmal Banks and Isaiah Neyor were that much better. I definitely think he could’ve gotten playing time this upcoming season even with our receiving core.
GBR! SUBSCRIBE FOR NEBRASKA NEWS! 🔥🌽
I think we need to watch out for UCLA or Minnesota in his recruitment. He’s a dual sport track athlete. Honestly it’s probably what’s best for his career. He’s a freak!
I like Jaylen Lloyd. He was wide open for multiple deep balls that Dylan just over threw.
Damon Benning seemed to feel he’d never leave. Too bad. Best of luck.
Jaylen is a really nice kid and I sincerely hope he finds a lot of playing time!
I can't blame him. Why did we not utilize him more this year? Rhule and his staff's biggest flaw is starting the wrong guys.
So true. Good recruits don’t want to sit for two or three years.
True say!!!
He never had a big game . He had plenty of opportunities. he was no Barney ..
@DionPryor396 I thought he was pretty good, but I realize he was going to be our 4th or 5th option next year.
Probably Satterfield’s decision
I hate this. I thought Jaylen Loyd should have been a starter along with Barney. I hope he comes back, but with the transfers coming in I doubt it. I wish him the very best!
I think us adding Key at WR and Mowze coming in with Barney on the rise. Possibly no room for Lloyd. I hope comes back to us. GBR
What did Barney do late in the season? His best play is the "Push pass" from Raiola from 2 feet away on the reverse.
Its sad too see him leave, but at the same time, not really suprised by it! With key and Hunter coming in! He was gonna get deeper in the rotation! And with mozee and mills coming also! They both I can see getting more playing time then Lloyd
We'll be aight. I think we have some young talent/speedsters coming up
Sad to see him go wish we would have used his talents more
It’s a loss but not a huge loss. He’s afraid of competition which is a character flaw. We need athletes that want to be here and aren’t afraid of competition.
Was a matter of time. Not sure how you don’t use him like Barney or a field stretcher due to his speed. Gonna be really good where ever he lands.
Just too many bodies in that room. Wish that was the problem with rb room!
Under used and they kept brining in others. Did he block well? Best to him, he’s a talent
He was our best reciever.
Bro I knew it
I feel like a lot of these players think it’s greener on the other side only to find out the truth…it’s a gamble
Lloyd I thought was good this might be a scatterbrain issue. Or maybe we are over doing it in the portal
I was really hoping our track team was gonna keep him here all four years.
Lloyd was very inexperienced. He had another good year to go to figure out how to run a good pattern. I hate to lose Nebraska kids, but this is college football now. I can't believe that they still have to actually go to class.
We finally get a real OC and WR coaches and he leaves. Wish him well but think he could have had a big year next year
The WR room is being significantly upgraded in 2025 - There are only 11 starters on offense and he would have been lucky to make the 2 deep next year...
This so stupid. Why would Rhule let one of his favorite players get mismanaged for so long? Dude played more as a true freshman than as a sophomore.
All the Nebraska scholarship guys leaving.... McMorris, Hall, Kaelin and now Lloyd.
@@beebers99 Malachi, Bretz, Rollins. Basically if they're an offensive skill position guy from Omaha or Lincoln expect them to transfer by year 1 or 2
Levi n beebers, ugh! Gotta Change that trend
This didn't surprise me in the very least!
He, Lloyd, is a deep threat and Raiola doesn't throw the deep ball for crap. Just floats up a jump ball. He doesn't have the arm strength to GUN IT IN THERE on the money deep.
Not a shocker... under utilized.
alot of the in state kids seem to be leaving prob the staff being more cut throat about the roster now that its smaller for a coach to last in this era cant be nice about having local kids just cus anymore its nice when a nebraska kid can be a player but i feel like we recruit to many kids just because there local lol
4.2 my ass wtf are you talking about bro😂😂😂😂
4.37 is his fastest unofficial time. 4.4 is accurate.
I guess he found out Kentucky and cal transfers are wr1 and wr2
I say Come Back! Do Not Miss Out!
Made plays, like when he lost the 50/50 ball that got intercepted. I liked Lloyd but he wasn’t going to play next year.
Another good one gone. Next man up! This is the new College football.
Just looking at the too deep, this really isn't a Nebraska team anymore. I'd like to think that at least half the kids would be from home state we're way less than that.
Sad, I liked how he played
Being fast doesn't make you an excellent WR. It's one trait. I don't know that he was as complete as we needed him to be to get guaranteed reps. There's too much talent in this room.

Well it’s the way she goes
Two word solution to lloyd... Dylan...any quarterback... wide receiver ..running back...score .. results....coaching, which is ...Offensive Line!!!
I hope he go to Iowa
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO⁉⁉⁉⁉⁉
Well piss....seems like he was just about to be a much bigger part of the offense.
Rhule did zero to give him an opportunity. I was very surprised to not see him play vs BC. Not happy at all with this.
For an inside scoop on a new Nebraska visitor, watch my new video! 🌽🔥 th-cam.com/video/eQMjIUZrRSI/w-d-xo.html
Way to go, Rhule!
He wasn’t used. No wonder he is leaving
Too much competition...not stacking up. Good luck to him.
Tough but makes sense. Agree with your take. Thank you

Unfortunate loss

Or….. maybe he just wasn’t good enough.
lol relax kid
All our Omaha kids are soft
@isaiah, ...bs.
Ps,..."Our"? Hmmmm
That fff probably will go to Minnesota.. wtf Rhule…
Rhule is a snake. This isn't how ya build a culture.
My Illini might be interested in him. They're looking to find someone to fill the shoes of Pat Bryant and Zakhari Franklin.
Yeah. I hope we get him in Champagne!
If you have all this knowledge on the whys he is leaving, why do you act like it’s a big thing. Sounds like he wasn’t ready to be a starter. We are bringing in starters, he should leave.
Speedster? Really? GBR!
He’s not a stud. Percy Harvin was a stud, this guys been in our system for 2 years and has 20 catches. He’s fast but not a stud. Routes were average at best. Not really losing much. Look at what’s coming in. Again I say, NOT A LOSE!
Far from “stud”, he got pushed around a lot. He has speed and decent hands but not much more.
not really a big loss, he didnt produce much for the 2 years hes been at nebraska. he wasnt going to get any touches next years anyways. better for him to leave
Smh, wish him nothing but success and good health. Guaranteed he was better than Neyor.
He was fast. That OC sucked and had no eye for talent! Kamala can't spell her own name!
Let’s see if he goes to Minnesota
Oh, well.
We'll find another
With mozee, mills, hunter and key coming to Nebraska! Lloyd was gonna be dropped quite a bit behind those guys in the rotation! Don’t really blame him!
We did find three or four!
Does he get a pack of huggies in the portal? He'll need them.
The Receiver Room is Gonna Be Crowded, I Wish Him The Best Of Luck. 💯
Sucks. Huge loss.
Not at all 😂, only neb fans would think this… kid isn’t a game changer
@ agree to disagree. Kid had speed, could’ve had more playing time. I don’t think Jahmal Banks and Isaiah Neyor were that much better. I definitely think he could’ve gotten playing time this upcoming season even with our receiving core.
Evidently he wasn't performing at a high enough level to start.
It's simple. He wants to play and we didn't play him.
Where is he going to go UNO 😂
Maybe with Trev.
Trev Ended UNO 🏈
💩. ...THAT a$$hol.
He couldnt get more time and alot of this is on him. He wasnt skillful enough
I wish him the best. We are really going to miss those three catches he made this year.
Scared of competition. Quitters gonna quit.
