I watched his video and thought, "hey, this is really good, I wonder how great it would look if the movement of the manga matched that of the anime's sfx," and voila.
I'm gonna be honest this took faaarrr too long to make considering how middle ground the final product is, but I hope you enjoyed nonetheless!
Obviously I do not own Berserk, the manga, or anything similar, and even more than that I hope and implore you to read it!

Say what you will about Berserk 2016, but they casted Guts pitch perfectly. He sounds exactly how I’d imagined Guts would sound: mostly disinterested but a little pissed off all the time, and in a fight he sounds excited and almost giddy that he gets to kill something.
The animation is terrible but the sound design,music and the voice actors are dope
I want to have a voice like his voice actor 🤣
people complain way too much. yeah its not stellar. Id prefer 2d animation. But its good. its serviceable.

the music is great, the dragonslayer sounds are just no.
That thick, big, lump of iron sfx is simply just frying pan
Music and OST are great. Sound effects? Not great. It's like the only tool they use for dragonslayer is a frying pan.

Say what you want about the frying pan since a laf in TH-cam smack the dragonslayer to a bucket and it sounds exactly like that

Man i forgot how hard it is for me to read manga, i can't really tell where to read next. I know it's right to left but sometimes i just look at it and say "where does this page start and end."
Yeah it can be complex for sure, took me a while to get the grip for it. Basically if the panel shapes are symmetrical to one another you should read those in order before continuing down to other panels

I didn't know the 2016 show was this loyal to the manga. It stands even higher as a masterpiece.

Best adaptation
The two things the awful anime did extremely right was the legendary music by susumu hirasawa and guts' voice actor casting.
Except for the iconic "Griffisu!" that was really bad😅
I don't get the hate from the Berserk 2016. It wasn't as bad as they bash it tbh and has became faithful with the manga, I mean they didn't add any fillers.

I'm assuming your talking about the part with Isidro and the bandits before the Kushan attack, but I'm pretty sure they were introducing him and showing us what kind of characteristics he will have. Again there's no filler in the Berserk manga, everything happens to push the story folward. Kentaro Miura didn't spend 30 years on his passion project just to try and stretch the story out, like they did with the Naruto anime. Maybe the only thing in the manga that I would count as filler is the Berserk Prototype, but even that wasn't Miura trying to stretch the story out.
