I agree with Gaynor, I’m 41 years old and even to this day when my mom hears sirens in town she calls me and my brother. “Are you ok? , ya mom I’m at work., ok sweetie well I heard sirens and just checked, have you talked to you’re brother….Nevermind I’ll call him. “ my moms in her 60’s and I’m 41 and my brother is 36. God I love that woman

That sounds terrible, I would hate that absolute nightmare. You're like a mormon South Park character. Try to be a real boy some day.

U must live in a very safe area if she does that because where I’m from we hear sirens all day and night

@@_dre_718_ I do, I live right outside of Knoxville, a town of about 3-4 k but mom always calls when she hears sirens, eventhough she knows me and my brother both are at work. Love that woman

My mom does the same. My brother died in a motorcycle wreck so when she hears sirens she freaks out sometimes and texts me or my brother to make sure we’re okay. Especially if we are out driving in that area.

That “mother” was complicit. She needs charges.

He probably never liked the mom to begin with. I bet he saw the daughter and then used the mom to get to her. Sick bastard.

I wonder how the mother reacted after finding out that she helped in covering up her daughters murder

    • @dalerimoller272

Idk, you can’t tell me that mom’s gut wasn’t just screaming, telling her that his story didn’t add up, and telling her that he was absolutely involved.
Instead of protecting her daughter, she protected her own man for selfish reasons.
I know that’s my own personal opinion, and I’m not saying that the mom knew this would happen, or that she was any part of killing her. But I don’t think anything could convince me that she didn’t have a little voice in her head saying something isn’t adding up with his behavior.

Shouldn't looking at the school video be the 1st thing the cops look at?

The number of women who chose their boyfriend/lover over their children is gross. Putting their children in danger, accepting predators in their home, overlooking gross abuse. Too many children have suffered under these circumstances.

If my daughter doesn't talk to me every day there is definitely something wrong, in fact she called while I was typing this 😂... she's well over 30 and lives hours away ❤

In order to get phone records and such, detectives have to get a warrant here in the US. I've been watching some of the UK's real life cop shows and I noticed that cops don't have the same restrictions in searching cars and phones. They don't appear to even need probable cause to search, is that true? Wishing you guys all the best from your cousins across the pond 😊❤!!

I think people (especially females) have intuition about “creepy” men. Always listen to your instincts and trust red flags.

I saw this video on EWU beforehand, but still wanted to watch your reaction. I had the same thoughts you two did as I was watching. Gaynor made a great point about cellphones, and why hadn’t they called her/ vice versa. I forgot this was so recent, so I hadn’t thought about that aspect.
The “mother” or more so birth giver, should be in prison too. She chose a disgusting little man over her own child. Instead of protecting her child, she protected her spouse when he was the last person to see the daughter before she went missing. Absolutely despicable. You can’t tell me her gut wasn’t screaming at her that his story didn’t feel right. For that- deciding not to push further, demanding he tell her the truth, but rather covering for him, she might as well have handed her daughter over to him, herself. She knew in her heart what he had done, and she still lied for him. She should be put in prison too!
Poor Justis. She deserved a better mother. She deserved to be safe, and she deserved a longer life.

I’m 33 and my mom still wants to know where I’m at. If I didn’t come home over night she would be blowing up my phone and freaking out. I have a 6yr old daughter at home so I would never not come home after work or whatever and if I have errands I let her know. Same goes for my mom if she didn’t show up over night I would probably call the cops if I couldn’t get ahold of her.

Not excusing the mother not doing anything the day/night Justice went missing. It is possible he threatened to harm her or the 5 yr old if she called the police or anything thing else. Yes, I agree she should be charged as a possible accessory after the fact

Do I believe that she (mother) knew what he was going to do…no but she knew that she was responsible for her death and instead of dealing with that she doubled down on the crazy. She needs help. And it’s sad when a PARENT picks other people over their own child.

Daz you're correct.if mine is 5 minutes late I'm calling them. I don't even have to finish watching this the Mom's boyfriend probably did it! When are women going to learn especially women that have daughters and I'll even throw Son's in there the most of the time the men aren't there for you its your young Daughters that they want and you just gave them a great opportunity. Stop bringing men around your children meet them somewhere and don't move them into your home. Never leave them alone with your daughter's #RN to many cases we see in my profession. Again women stop and think about your children. Mom should be in jail as well.
