Congratulations !! I wrote level 3 in May . The time constraint gets harder at level 3 in the essay portion especially. I concur on everything you mentioned. Especially the 300 hours theory...for level 2 and 3 you need much more time to be prepared
Definitely a good video. Just took my L1 in August and trying to mentally prepare for what L2 looks like. Admittedly it is very nice to have some time before results are released to let the mind relax. Wiley 11th hour I’m going to look into as a supplement. I’ve used Kaplan Schweser and find their material top notch
Thanks for the insight Marie. I too passed Level 1 in May 2021 but decided to sit for my Level 2 in August this year. Like you said, I'm less stressed than last time but not sure what to expect. Level 2 is significantly harder and longer than Level 1. Wish me luck
Iam completed graduation in economics, and now iam studying MBA finance 2nd year. After business or job or CFA program prepare best or not.please explain medam suggestion very important
hey there Marie, congrates for passing lvl 2 and i hope doing same in lvl 3 soon, am going to entre lv2 exam after 2 months so i hope if can send me schwesr qbank 2022,11hours wiley and some mock exams would be very appreciated and thanks in advance anyways
I started with the CFA Program only after I got my job. In my view, having good relevant experience for junior people is more important than obtaining first levels of CFA
Congratulations!! I also work in finance and found your tips really valuable. Im taking Level 2 in August, how would you recommend I spend the last week before the exam? (e.g. days memorizing formulas, doing practice, questions, etc)
Thank you! During my last 7-10 days before the exam I usually do the following: 1. Memorize formulas 2. Repeat key concepts from summary materials (e.g., KS Secret Sauce, I re -read it once or twice) 3. Solve 15-20 exercises for each topic. In the KS study environment I can bookmark some Qs, I usually bookmark more complicated problems or the ones which are typical for this section to keep the sequence of steps fresh in my memory 4. 1-2 days before the exam I also go through the QuickSheet to make sure all concepts mentioned are sharp in my memory Hope it helps:) Good luck!
I like the Kaplan....but is it enough for L2.....well for u is enough....for me I guess I'll find out this month after completing my last bit of portfolio..... For the practise I'll use the curiculum and candidate resources....feedback would be appreciated....danke
Thank you! I would suggest you think about what value having the CFA charter would bring you. If you work in investment management, than it can improve your chances of finding a new job (at least in Europe). Or if you want to enter into the investment management, having these exams could help. But if you are not in finance and it's not a hard requirement for your industry, then maybe there are other good certifications?
I am preparing started this month CFA level-1 and I want to given exam in November 2022 . Per day how many hours studying then I will achieve my goals. Please rply.. I am engg. Background student and I am working Job how to manage.. please response

Congrats on L2! Question: where did you purchase the flash cards?
Thanks:) Mine are from Kaplan Schweser
Has obtaining the cfa first two levels been seen as a necessity in acquiring a job in asset management or prior internships contributed more to it?
