Don't forget season 8's mythics being practically impossible to get, between Slone having three of the busted burst, and the venom and carnage mythics being taken out quite early in the season. The "mythics" in The Sideways were the only ones that were practical to get for the average player, and even then, getting one took a lot of grinding in The Sideways, which, as you said, was controversial.

Honestly, I just camped that infinite heal at slurp until the storm was well gone, and killed any player who tried to use the glitch after I ensured no one could glitch and cheat their wins, I'd simply end myself with fall dmg to keep it fair

how did he forgot that Llamas move now…yes it makes it more challenging but its hell with the fact it takes alot of ammo and you have a limited time to get it and then ppl can just kill you because of the gunshots leading them towards you

What we have to understand about chapter 2 is that covid struck right as it started.
I have a theory that Epic had been planning a LOT of things for chapter 2, but a lot of them ended up getting delayed. For example, I don't think S1 would have been as long or as content-less as it was; if covid hadn't hit. I also think they wouldn't have relied as much on collabs. It seems like irl epic offices are fully opening up again in 2022 (I feel like that would happen before they started LAN events) and that makes me EVEN MORE hyped for Chapter 3
Well, Covid didn't hit until Season 2 of chapter 2, not season 1. But I think the reason the season was so contentless and bland was because Epic genuinely expected us to take a whole season to acclimate to a new flipping map. Plus, they didn't want the crazy loot pool to get in the way of said acclimation, so they pretty much reset the loot pool as well.
I mean, back in Chapter 1, people made dozens of videos and had content for weeks when Epic would add one simple item, like the shockwave grenade. So it'd seem reasonable that we'd be content satisfied for a whole season with something as big as a new map... And then we became very impatient and only made a single video on a new item and stuff.
But it has to be said that Chapter 2 season 1 was literally the first time Epic has done a chapter change. They didn't know what to expect. But now, they have our feedback and know what we want and don't want from a chapter switch. So while I do thing the new chapter WILL basically reset the lootpool once more, and give us another themeless season. It won't be AS long or AS dry of content now that Epic knows that just a new map isn't enough to keep us satisfied.
Plus, Chapter 2 added a whole lot of other things like Mythic bosses, NPCs, gold, crafting, etc. So it wouldn't be AS bad regardless...

Ok, I’m tired of waiting. Let’s get epic to bring back the guided missile.
I literally have memories messing around with it in playground mode with my dad when I was 7, we must get the guided missile back.
Theory: So when you talk to Dark Jonesy about giving him the vessel and listening to his vision he says total annihilation or sacrifices I’ll happen. As sometimes Agent Jonesy says that he will sacrifice himself to save the island so he must sacrifice himself in the event and is eaten by the cubes which turns him into Dark Jonesy and Dark Jonesy says sacrifice because he is Agent Jonesy after being eaten by the cubes

I remember in season 6, the only primal gun I used was the shotgun, so I would always drop at lazy lake, get basic loot, then spend half the game grinding for mechanical parts by destroying cars. I love the concept of that season, but the grind to get normal guns was a pain.
Once I was playing season 6 too and you know when the zero cries game mode came out? I was in a solo match and was gonna win in a 1v1v1 and the game mode came out and I lagged out.

@@nst_chipz3243 it was my favorite concept, but looking back the gameplay wasn’t great. The loot pool wasn’t great, and animals like raptors were very annoying. However, I loved the fire themed wild week. Burning is fun!

At the end of the day, there’s always going to be something we hate. There really can’t be anything “perfect” in the game
Still, as long as the game is still running well, that’s all we really need

One thing I hate about chapter 2 is the sweats. I swear, at the beginning of season 8, the only people I see are the ones building the empire state building in one second, and they have mandolorian aim. It's not as bad for me as the season progressed, but I fear chapter 3 will be sweat Central

I feel your pain I was 1v1 somebody near the end game and they were already sweaty the next thang I know I get shot in the head and die I watch the rest of the match and watch as this kid was building new york bro I swear. chapter 3 if there are too many sweats I might take a break from it.

One of the most annoing changes is how the lamas react to you being there. I mean they see you from a good distance,have way too much health and if they see even for not even a frame the time is ticking. If you don't kill it fast enough the lama and all of its loot is gone. Just why?

I think they should give it less HP that or let us sneak behind it and not let it notice us so quickly.
Season 4 for me was the best out of chap 2. I didnt really feel any issues with it and it just felt like the mythic problem they fixed quickly in arena, in normals i thought they were all fine.
Chapter 2 Season 4 is still my all time favorite Fortnite season to date! Every now and then me and my siblings get together and reminisce about: the Stark Industries Rifle weapon, the crazy aim bot the npcs had and a few other things that season brought to Fortnite.
Whenever I wanted to loot the Stark Industries poi I would always wait for Ironman to go down because his aim with the Unibeam was crazy! I would literally watch the player count drop as we landed there because he would let it rip and destroy anything his Unibeam caught in its line of fire! (Sometimes I wonder how many eliminations Tony got that season...)
ch2s2 is stil my favourite, its like season 4 except it wasnt a crossover so all the npc's and bosses were original
1:30 The difficulty of the henchman was actually based on the average skill of the lobby because back then in my games The henchmen were easy to kill but in my cousins game they were extremely hard and at this time and is actually still accurate to this day but basically my cousin was better than me so the henchman in his game were harder to kill than in my games
So that's why I never had to deal with that...
I would really like epic to have both Bows and Snipers in the loot pool for Chapter 3 so crafting has more purpose (maybe don't add the Makeshift weapons back)

I actually liked the Mandalorian. It did justice to his character, and for some reason I like the feeling of impending doom.
Chapter 2 had its good moments. But the lack of map changes really made me hate the Chapter..

I feel like they killed team rumble in season 7, It’s so hard to do challenges in it anymore, one of my biggest hopes for season 8 was team rumble reverting to the old style without the storm already covering parts of the island, but NOPE, they made it worse, you can’t even get quests from npcs anymore.
i feel like the god awful xp system at the start of season 8 deserves a mention here

I remember one time in chapter 2 season 3 I was on the walls in the authority. A shark then jumped out of the water launching me into the authority. I died on impact.
I actually loved chapter 2 season 5 the only people to blame about sand tunneling is the people that abused the glitch epic had to remove it so no more people used it plus the Mandalorian's aim was fixed plus we got a bunch of collaborations a bounty gamemode and more.Only flaw to me was how many sweats there were but that doesn't count because there have always been sweats since season 5 chapter 1 also if you can edit pump kill and default dance touch some grass no one cares that you have renegade raider or skull trooper

I actually think it's super funny how sand tunneling wasn't present for most of the season because I knew it'd be one of the glitchiest things that season. (It was an inside joke between me and my brothers whenever we saw that the tunneling was disabled.)

I love the sideways ,but I wish there were more permanent sideways bubbles on the map
I enjoyed the concept too. Something otherworldly pulling you in and having to fight to survive.
And most people didn't study the corrupted ground or purple tendrilly ,viney parts or the feeling of the fact it looked alive to me.

I actually liked the fog in Chapter 2 Season 8, it better enabled me to go around the map more stealthily, and since I never engaged in any combat unless I felt I absolutely had to, there was no problem with running into other players
I actually really enjoyed chapter 2 season 1. The battle lass was great and I liked the simplicity of it.

Chapter 2 season 4 was fine. The mythics that were added were all fun and mostly balanced, or at the very least there was an easy way to kill them. (A purple or gold pump and this was back when they did more damage.) Also the fortnitemares was fun because It provided 199 kills per match, so new kill records and more memes. Also the zombies were sooo easy to kill if you had good aim or a pump, (which back then even blue pumps did 105 at close rage and that would kill a zombie.) So please all of that was fun so don't hate on it or epic games will never add things like it back.

I can't see why people were complaining about npc's. Sure, the IO guards in season 5 were a bit strong, but the other npc's weren't as OP. I was dominating any kind of npc location this chapter by myself
I mean, launchpads did get unvaulted in season 1 briefly, but that and the harpoon gun were literally the only things added to the season, ruling out the Halloween and Christmas events of course.
In chapter 2 season 8 it was the sweatiest thing in the world, skill based matchmaking was through the roof. It was like playing arena in a normal solos gamemode.
Guys I remember when in season 6 the best places for materials was the junction place near corny and the bridge near weeping.

Everybody thinks we need a new map and I agree.But the map needs to be more simple think about the chapter 1 map that everybody fell in love with it was way more simple than this map we have now and the other chapter 2 maps just an option tho

shjark's weren't one of rthe most hated that season, they were actually loved due to giving loot and having great mobility

I've always preferred ch1 over ch2, mainly because there were changes abound in ch1:
S5 - new desert section
S6 - flying loot lake island
S7 - new icy section
S8 - new pirate theme section w/ volcano
S9 - futuristic theme
SX - all the great things about the chapter wrapped up into one season

I agree! There has only been 4 NAMED locations that have stayed, and each one is very forgettable. (Coral, Catty, Boney, and Convergence). Chapter 1 didn't have the *best* battle-passes or skins as Chapter 2, but in terms of map changes and how fun the game was, they did a lot better in Chapter 1. Next chapter, they need the map to be less green. :D

This only reminded me how good Chapter 2 was. We didn’t appreciate it while it was happening.. But it was amazing to experience. For all we know chapter 3, 4, 5 might suck and we might look back with nostalgia on how good 2 was.

Unpopular opinion, but the stink bombs were okay. If someone was being a sweat, you could use them to flush them out. And I mean, like an unfair amount of building. That's why I like 0 build.

The sideways is extremely fun it’s like a more controlled season 6 fortnite mares (back then if you went to some locations there was like 30 cube frags in 1 spot lol) but the only problem is when you try to open chests. When you open chests you get absolutely swarmed by sideways monsters

I don't understand people. Back in the days of chapter 1 season 6 everyone hated the zombies and now epic games made a smart decision to reduce it into a bubble.

I personally think Fortnites crossovers are amazing! It's slowly turning into third person ready player one!
Like no joke, this game is so much fun even with sweats sometimes. I'm good enough to run solo duos and rarely any sweats are in duos as opposed to solos. Playing with friends is fun and so are the custom game modes! I wanna see more Halo stuff in Fortnite, maybe a toxin skin, Zoro, Luffy, Goku, etc etc. ITS AWESOME

I know this was a while ago but Mandalorian was really fun especially when you got to take his weapons I think it was a fun boss

This video made my flashbacks from Chapter 2 Season 3 resurface! I was once chased by a shark ON LAND until it killed me!
Also, those Marauders would literally hunt you down! I don't think I've survived more than 10 encounters with them considering how I literally came across them every other match that season!
Then when chapter 4 hit, I had the most fun I've had playing Fortnite since Chapter 1! I have my gripes about Ch. 2 Season 4 though. For example, the Stark Bots and their aim bot and ridiculous weapons! Accidentally attacking Wolverine thinking he was an actual player. And losing to the Marvel themed mythic weapons. All together though, these things made playing that season fun. Imo, best season of Fortnite to date!
