I’m kinda amazed that only weighs 22kg! Is that including the food and binos? But no water? I carry in heaps less than what you have on that table, but including 2litres of water, the actual Kuiu pack and binos I’m at just over 21kg. Near 26kg including rifle. 😮
Food was included but That’s Not including gun or bino harness and I had put a 1 litre Gatorade in but no water as i was packing along a river. I do everything I can to cut my weight down, I believe food can be a big one. Clothes are another. 21kgs is pretty good I reckon.
@@intothehighcountry yeh food can be a big one. My food is essentially the same as yours so that takes that out of the equation. I go pretty light with my battery backup to. Not a power bank just an 18560 battery and a litter cord that has magnets on the side. Works really well.
@@johnmac6226 yeah I’ve actually since changed my charger to a cygnett power bank it’s smaller but has more charges in it so I’ve dropped a tiny bit more weight there. Guess there’s no right or wrong ways.
I carry my extra asthma medication in my backpack also
