I have played Fender guitars for over 30 years and I just got a Yamaha Pacifica 611 VFM with the tremelo and just discovered that it’s build quality tone and tuning stability is far better than any American made Fender I’ve ever played! This is the only guitar 🎸 I’ll ever need from here on out!
@@PJohn-gc8xv I've picked up few player series and 1,100$ straps.. Not impressed. G&L, Yamaha, Godin...just a few brands that feel rewarding to play and cost the same or less..and of course the Ernie Ball line up, but they're unreasonable expensive.
Exactly my experience as well sans buying Fender. I used to want an American standard stratocrapper to compliment my Gibson SG but one year, maybe 2014 the price of the Fender went from below $900 to $1100 in 2015. A bolt on neck guitar invented to be cheap to make and accessible to the working class. Fender's marketing raved about it's new steel bridge and pickups. That never stopped me from playing their American deluxe and ultras in the store which was a massive let down after I bought my Pacifica. I almost bought two because I loved mine so much.

I'm totally agree with you. Good brands are not always good. The same is true for Fender and Gibson.

やっぱりYAMAHAは間違いないのかなぁ。特徴的な音や個性的なスタイルは無いかも知れないけど、弾きやすさとチューニングの安定感や素直な音作りには最適だと思う。高ければ良いってもんじゃない。パシフィカ、1本買ったら大抵のジャンルに使えるんじゃ👍
楽器人口増やすためには大事ですよね。
ちょっとお金かかるけど個性出すためにカラーリング変えて自分だけのパシフィカにするのもいいですね。

90年代はArt Techのイメージでした。
動画公開の２日前にHFMを購入。手持ちギターの中で一番ストレスが少ないので、今はほとんどこればっかり弾いています。演奏している音楽ジャンルはジャズ、フュージョン、ファンクなので、こちらの動画でもクリーントーンのデモがあればよかったかなと思っています。
あまり語られることがないであろう良い点としては、ジャックの安心感とサドル高さ調整のイモネジが手に当たらないことを上げたいと思います。
期待を上げ過ぎないために留意点も書きます。
コストを考えれば仕方のないことで、私は気にしておりませんが、ボディ表面はセンター接ぎのメイプル２ピースでも裏板（ってか本体）は５ピースでした。フレットエンドも十分に手間をかけた処理ではないと思います。（演奏上支障なし）
ロック式ペグのチューニング安定性は格別でも、やはりごくわずかにズレることがあります。
各ピックアップ間と弦ごとの音量バランスが自分好みではなかったので調整しました。
ファンクで使うカッティングの音色は、テレキャスやレスポールの方が好みで、この件については研究中です。
結論
09-42のゲージでもジャズに適したクリーントーンが出せるしテンションコードも美しい、弾きやすくて（おそらく）丈夫なので、迷うことなくどこへでも連れ出せる相棒となりました。
