Knowing the path connect all eldian, they probably really watching them fighting for the world freedom. That ‘watch us’ from Levi after meaning he believe that too
I appreciate how hard that moment was for him. Hange was the last one of his old teammates, the last of Erwin's old squad. Between losing his face, his hands, his feeling of being useful (being carted about and helpless for the last few episodes) and now losing all his old friends.
The only ones who have the right to use this expression are the Jaegerists & people from the Island, not the traitors (shame on them) who betrayed humanity within the walls and sold Paradise Islande. It's already quite logical now but when you see the end, you will even understand why
@@kien9350 Didn’t Erwin take hundred of hearts for his own selfish reasons? lmao stfu, they’re all doing the same, doing what makes them feel better at the end of the day.
Levi's 'Sasageyo' as his first, and last words to Hange serves as a beautiful reminder to us, the audience about what this decade long story has built throughout the years. That scene alone is one of the most emotionally impactful moments in any story, or TV show, ever. What an absolute masterpiece.
By forgetting lines like "because I was born into this world" "We are the same" "When I learned that humanity beyond the walls survived, I was DISAPPOINTED" Or Eren talking about the refugees losing their freedom like he and his people did Its almost like they were reading "Us vs them - the story of how we continue the cycle of hatred and see no hope"
Floch is even worse than Eren because he doesn't even regrets it, he absolutely loves it. Like, Eren is definitely fucked in the head too but Floch is a straight up sociopath.
Probably goes even deeper. It's the mutual hatred both sides have for each other from those thousands of years of suffering they brought over each other. It's an acknowledgement that this cycle of hate will just continue if we continue to hate each other.
They understand better than me, a manga reader, i was so obsessed with chad eren saving eldia, i forgot that he just a human like Erwin, having their own selfish reason and being suffer from their dream.
@@tsukiko9739 well any decision you make is selfish because it’s a decision you made that you feels benefits you in someway. Yea Eren did it for his country, his family, and his friends and yes it is selfish. Armin wants to save the world more then his country because he wants to be seen as a good guy to the world for his own selfish reason. Mikasa wants to save Eren and bring him home and live together forever with him with no mind about Paradis or the world for her own selfish reason. Everybody is selfish about something. There is no right or wrong in the story of attack on Titan anymore. People are doing what they THINK needs to be done according to their OWN beliefs.
Their discussion about Eren before and after the episode is why they've become my favourite reactors. They're actually trying to figure out where his head is at
@@islm19 Sadly they still don't get it. Everyone at this point understands why people support him, but they are still confused on why people support him...

"It's as you said, Floch. But we just can't give up...". Hange's words poignantly encompass one of the most important themes of AoT imo. Even though the cycle of violence and hatred will always continue, we have to try our best not to perpetuate it and even if we can't, we have to keep trying and that's exactly what the scouts are trying to do. Because they actually had a hand in furthering the Rumbling by helping Eren get to Zeke. Aot never claimed to be a story about making the right decisions. It's always been about making choices that one thinks they will regret the least. Stopping Eren is a decision that may or may not work out in their favor, but they just don't want to regret not stopping a genocide, which is completely understandable. The scouts represent what the Survey Corps stands for: fighting against insurmountable odds for even the slightest chance of an unrealistic idealist world.
You are my favorite attack on Titan reactors. Love your sensitivity and you thoughtfulness to understand both sides of the story. It's nice to see you again girls :)
They really don't understand both sides. They said they don't get why people support Eren, when this episode alone explains it pretty well why people support him...
Fun fact: During Annie's conversation with Kiyomi in manga we see some flashbacks from her when Kiyomi tells her about helping people and before Annie sadly says "but it's to late...", the first one is about her dad, the second about the warriors (Reiner, Pieck, Berth and the Galliard's brothers), the third about Paradis's soldiers (Sasha, Mikasa, Connie, Eren and Jean) and the last one is completely about Armin.
@@BhBc8f8 I think it’s just crunchy rolls subs. Quite frankly I think they’re actually shit most of the time. They change so many lines to sound different than how it was from the manga
I definitely think these people are the best attack on titan reactors on TH-cam. Nobody else understands the intentions of the writer better than these two.
Thank you Mappa y’all made me cry while watching the episode.🥹 Hange was done justice and the horrors of the rumbling were elevated. I love Attack on Titan!!❤️
Eren saying to Ramzi "I wanted this... I wanted to wipe everything away" is very important to keep in mind when people question why Eren did the rumbling. People can theorize and debate his true intentions and why he actually did it, but no matter what, the rumbling was something Eren wanted in his core.
@@jonnyrose1288Eren is disappointed not in the fact that there are people alive, but in the fact that they want them dead. Author's words. What does it mean that we can't take this monologue literally, I guess? And the fact that Eren just wants to kill all the people behind the walls literally reduces the growth of his character to the level of villains from the 80s-90s, evil because he is so
@@tonikbonik yes, he was disappointed at the reality of the outside world like he said it wasn’t the world he dreamed of it was a world of bad people who wanted his people dead.
@@tonikbonik idk what I said about Erens monologue to ramsi was any different from what you just said lol. Also btw out of curiosity have you read the manga?
@@idea0405 he never calls what he does justice, he knows he's doing bad stuff too, and he doesn't believe he's better than Eren or the jaegerists, at the contrary he hates when someone implies that, clarifies isn't true and calls himself a monster, that shows he has no hypocrisy, hypocrisy would be if he was killing innocents but believing he's still a good person but hating on others like Eren for doing that. Disagreeing with someone who's also wrong isn't hypocrisy, they just believe different things would be the best answer even if both need from some bad actions to be made.
Hange said it in a misleading way, but she never actually admitted that what Yelena said about Zeke is right. Hange only admitted to her powerlessness for not being able to come up with a solution.
When Annie says she wanted to kill Reiner and stopped herself, Reiner doesn't actually answer "I'm glad you didn't", he says "I admire your self-control" which is much more fitting and great
@@grant2707 yes, the translation is wrong (the subtitles), that happens very often with animes and this show, even official sites like crunchyroll use to translate what they say badly in some parts.
He said よく我慢できたな (yoku gaman dekita na). As someone who speaks Japanese, I can't say the official translation is wrong. It could be translated a couple ways, but the official translation is closer to being accurate than yours is. When you say "yoku + verb" it can often mean "I'm glad that you did X" or "thank you for X". There's nothing in his sentence about admiring, but I can see how you could interpret it that way. But imo "I'm glad you held back" is the most natural translation.
@@MarkHogan994 I wasn't speaking in the most literal way about the exact words, what I was saying is about the terms bc it changes what Reiner says, Reiner isn't recognizing he's glad to be alive (even if the dialogue is said as a joke), he's just answering Annie as a way to say that he gets how hard it must been for her to control herself from killing him with all the things he did and how he acted (and, again, yeah, they're not talking in a literal way about murdering him but even as a joke it shows something, it's there for a reason, a pretty obvious one), so in a way the different translations can be interpreted as the complete opposite of the other, which is what Milena and Lola did and that's wrong bc Reiner still wasn't in the point of wanting to live yet so taking his dialogue as that with that type of transition can make you take his development in the wrong way, that's why I was clarifying. Japanese people agrees with what I'm saying tho, so maybe you should revisit some lessons to have it more clear. The translation truly changes the meaning of the scene and ofc what he says is important, so it's better to be aware of what's truly going on. My first language is spanish and for example something that truly annoys me is that crunchyroll mistaken with those subtitles during Porco's freaking last words, when he says "I was always better than you", the subtitles said "Siempre fue mejor que tú", which makes him talk in third person, not first, which for the context of the dialogue makes it look like he's talking about Marcel, not himself, so if you watch the show on crunchyroll with spanish subtitles and know no better, you'll think Porco's last words were him saying Marcel was always better than Reiner, which isn't only incorrect but also makes no sense so it fucks up part of the scene. That's what happens with inaccurate translations.
@@3li7assan30 even if they already seen it they understand the story better than any reaction I’ve seen. So of course they’re the best reactors If you think those reactions are fake you can also assume that every reactors make fake reactions because there will always be something that can makes you think that. Also they have time to prepare themselves before recording so it’s very possible. If you don’t like that just stop watching reactions and that’s all
"No one is listening to this hour long discussion" well you got that WRONG CAUSE I WATCHED THE WHOLE THING you never miss fr, you never disappoint with your reactions and discussions i've missed your aot videos so much. The only reactors that i would watch 2 hours and 23 minutes without skipping through no lie. Best aot reactors no competition for me. What an amazing episode i cried with you once again it really was a perfect hour i agree! Goodbye to Hange, one of my favorite characters she went out amazingly i'm still in pain😭 Can't believe this show is really coming to an end soon, see you in Fall for the last part! 🖤
Isayama was born in a small town surrounded by mountains. As a boy, he would always look up at the sky and watch the birds fly over the mountains. For him, birds are symbols of freedom. And he wanted to cross the mountains and go to the outside world someday. He wanted to leave his small town. Eren said 「From the moment I was born, there was always a stifling wall before me.」
You’re probably the only channel I would watch a reaction video of that’s longer than 2 hours! This is one of my favorite AoT episodes ever. MAPPA absolutely nailed the animation and visuals and Hange’s sacrifice was handled so well that it made me cry even though I’d read the manga.
I think my favourite part of the scene with the dead scouts, is that you can see Sasha there, facing away from the camera, because she’s watching her friends.
It was fitting, yet heartbreaking 💔 to see that Hange was first met up by Erwin & that Moblit helped her up, without uttering a single word. He was always loyal to her. They will now watch over humanity’s last hope.
It's unbelievable how I love all of them, each of them. They are all living and fighting something they never wanted. No one of them would have ever wanted to be such a fighter and, still they keep on doing it cause there's no different way. This is the signature of the sadness in every character. I love so much the way they've been designed and raised up episode by episode. A masterpiece anime, under every aspect
I think most of my endgame sympathy for Eren is from the perspective of Mikasa. Having to fight and likely end the life of a guy you've been in love with for a bit over a decade is a really shit hand. Her feelings for him have always been a source of unconditional love and its bad enough that he will likely die early no matter what... they can't even truly just appreciate the little time he has left with her cause he's too traumatized by what he saw to feel like the current him is worthy of that affection in the first place. Like yeah the concept of being a slave to one's own nature is what defines Eren and it's horrifying to witness but I think that same determination that he displayed in a more traditional type of love pre-TS robbing him of more basic desires such as just loving someone as Eren or even being able to trust himself is just tragic all around.
Yes. just wish they remembered what falcos Titan looked like. They got close when they mentioned how zekes Titan looked like a monkey but they didn’t connect anything and moved on 😢 I think there big disconnect there was that they simply forgot what it looked like
@@pinktoonie I don’t think that was specifically said In the anime. But it is connectable if you think about “beast” meaning animal, his Titan looking like an ape, falco connecting to zekes spinal fluid, and hence why he takes on the form of an animal, a bird.
I cried when I read the manga, then I sobbed like baby when I watched the episode. They really did that scene justice. Can't wait for the final episodes in the next 5 to 10 years.
To talk about how the hate and "monsters" concepts are used in this show it's amazing. Eldia was a monster, conquering, destroying and slaving for 1900 years, after that when Marley got the power they had so much hate against them and were so afraid to ever become the victim again that they became the oppressors, they became just as bad as the eldians and even went against innocent people just to have all that power that wouldn't allow their traumas to happen again. Then, bc of them Paradis island that was innocent and terribly mistreated to the point of almost getting destroyed even when they were innocents, they end up deciding to not just defend themselves but bc of the trauma Marley caused them and how much they don't want that to happen again they become the oppressors, they choose to destroy everything and everyone even innocents that were just like them. Eldia created the monster that created the world's monster, they did that to Marley and bc of that Marley did that to Paradis and bc of that Paradis is doing this to the world. It's a literal endless cycle, and even for human nature not even by destroying the outside world paradis would have peace bc there's always conflicts, like even the old eldian empire fell bc of civil wars once they had no one else outside to fight, and Paradis isn't just about to go on a civil war but they're also already in a violent dictatorship thanks to the jaegerists, this all just shows how the cycle wouldn't even stop with what paradis is doing even when it's the most extreme case out of the three, it would keep going even with that and even without it bc as we know, as is in real life and as this same story has told us many times, humans will always fight each other, even if there's just two of them left in this world, and the cycle can't be destroyed bc of that, we can only work to have it better but never nothing bc that's unfortunately not how we humans work.
Armin and Annie are the best and cutest couple. I ship them so hard. Also, to the people who say king flock unironically. I'm sorry, but the answer to genocide is not genocide. Absolutely nothing justifies it. Violence carries only the power to compel action, not the power to persuade opinions. Thus, a defeated foe may be forced to take certain actions or accept certain conditions, but his mind is unaltered. It was never a binary choice. "A false dilemma is a logical fallacy that presents only two options or sides when there are many options or sides" we see in the show that Marlians can and will change their mind about Eldians, and that progress was happening. It's not instant, but it's there. Not to mention that the island of Paradise had the capability to wipe out any military power that was threatening them, that's a large bonus to their goal, one that may not have been needed to achieve a none genocidal goal. Nobody can possibly say that the innocent civilian men, women and children across the world deserve to die because of the actions of a few, none of them have done anything wrong, nor were they any threat to the island. Hiding behind the pretense of protecting ones loved ones is the antithesis of what's happening. It's not protecting ones loved ones, It's using the hostility of a few the slaughter everyone. It's easy to boil something down to an "Us or Them" mentality, and with that it becomes incredibly easy to try and justify the most evil of actions. You will notice that a lot of the most heinous crimes against humanity occurred under people who utilized that thought process. Eren is a fantastic character, but he is a monster that needed to be stopped. I hope this helped you in some way. I apologize if I came off as overly aggressive and combative, that was not my intention.

At the beginning of March, 70% to 80% of the drawing is finished, and the unfinished drawing, sound effects, voice actors, and insert songs will be broadcast this fall, but it will be around September at the earliest. Until then, let's look forward to it 🎵 By the way, at the beginning of the first half of this episode, Mikasa asked, "Why are you crying, Eren?"will be understood later.
What a HELL of an episode. An hour of nothing but carnage and despair. This is the most anticipated and considered the best episode of AOT, according to the fans that is and ig we can vouch too. Aside from Hange's heart-shattering sacrifice and all, We now see Erens perversion for freedom at full display, which I think is somewhat overlooked. There's more to it than just expressing his immense guilt infront of the child(Ramzi), He poured out his bottled up emotions by admitting the fact that he did what he did because of an unfulfilled dream and disappointment. Eren is, as Kenny would say, drunk on something, an idealistic freedom of a world beyond the walls that simply doesn't exist, Eren dreamed of an empty world without people, with rivers of lava, vast seas and deserts, a world to explore and discover, and instead there were people who had taken away his freedom. He internalized that idea of freedom based through the contents of Armins book, now that it doesn't exist, He initiated the rumbling primarily for the sake of that selfish desire. To him, It's far more important than saving the island, hence recontexualizing his speech that eradicating the world is merely a pretext. in short, he's just like a child throwing a tantrum because he couldn't grab what he wants despite the guilt and all. Eren is the personification of contradiction and irony, be it his actions, emotions, and the leitmotif encompassing his character. He's a god yet a devil, a victim and a perpetrator, Selfless for sacrificing his life for his loved ones yet Selfish for trampling on others lives for his desires, desires freedom yet a slave to his unfulfilled ideal freedom and nature, hes human and a monster.
It's too one-sided. At best, it's just Allen's disappointment with the world, and it's far from the reason for him to launch a massacre. Although Allen is disappointed with the world, it is more to give his partner a world that is not full of hatred and the power of giants. This is the reason why he refuses to sacrifice the queen. In Allen's heart, the partner is the first, followed by The nation. He carried all the crimes on his shoulders, just to leave a world free from hatred and the power of giants.
Love this channel, an actual reaction channel with in-depth discussion unlike other react channel just for the "wow face" reactions, clicks, and half-ass commentaries.
I'm not somebody who easily cry, but Hange's sendoff DESTROYED me. Already at the time when I read the chapter, I was in tears. And OMG mappa did it justice.
This show excels at creating a true roller coaster of emotions. Throughout this episode we can experience horror, sadness, despair, anger, love, bravery, and finally hope at the end. Shout out to my girl Hange, a true badass hero.

FINALLY!! The wait was CRAZY!!!!!! But worth it. The best reactors are finally here!! ❤ They've taken what I thought would be unadaptable and somehow made it better in many instances. The smaller moments hit particularly hard. Unreal. Especially the Hange moment. Hange is definitely the heart of the scouts.
1:25:05 and 1:28:05 I knew you guys were gonna talk about this, I haven't seen a single reactor bring this up in their disscussion. As expected from the best AoT reaction channel that I've seen
The characters don't have japanese names since they're based in different cultures (Eldia conquered majority of the world so there's eldians from all around the world, Isayama based paradis in german cities so many of our characters are supposed to be as descendants from them). So don't think in the names as "if this mean something in another language it means nothing bc it's not their language", for example Eren's last name is a popular last name in Germany and literally means "hunter" in their language, this is even used in the first opening so you can tell it's obviously intentional. Falco's name literally means Falcon, it's an italian name, the fact that they sound similar in english is intentional but even ignoring that the name itself has the same meaning bc it means falcon. This shows us how amazing Isayama is bc when he created the character he had in mind this thing we just learned now and he used his name as a hint, as his very first scene in the whole season. Many characters have names that are meaningful for the plot, as someone explained to you in past videos about Floch's last name showing he's someone who's stuck in thw cycle of hatred, the forest, even when that word, "Forster" (his last name) means nothing in japanese.
You guys are the best reactors of AOT I’ve ever seen you understand the show so good. I needed to watch it a lot of times to finally get the deep message that the author wants to show us. I just think that he’s slave of emotions and his dream but he would never have done that if he wasn’t at this place. All the people that him praise and help him all along are also a cause of all this. They weren’t aware of that but unfortunately everything that they have done leads to this situation. Eren should never have become such an important soldier for paradise the story would have been different
@@ybfromoblock3381 no there is no predetestination in AOT everything eren did he choose to do it. Don’t tell me the future him manipulate him because at the he is the one who decided. He said it a lot of time I don’t why people always try to make their own story just to feel like they’re right

What a beautiful hour. Hanji was really the mvp ❤ i didn't realize how much i loved this character until i saw Hanji go out like a damn boss . People are saying another hour won't be enough for the rest of the manga so i really hope they don't rush it .
The Eren and Ramzi scene is very interesting to see, however the scene the best lends to help explain it, would be the beach scene with Eren as it is him more or less restating the exact same sentiments and lends a better lens of how to interpret the "When I learned humanity lived outside the walls, I was disappointed." Another additive point is that despite this being and additional reason for why he did the rumbling, especially with its ties to Erens freedom goal, it however was not the sole reason for why he did the rumbling. As much as some would like to boil down most of Erens actions to him simply doing it because he just wanted to, it would strip the additional layers built around his character , from the influence of the memories (past and future) and to his need to protect the island and desire for his friends to live long lives. Eren ultimately is both someone who is someone limited by him self both internally(his desire for freedom) and externally (the burden of his future selfs memories) and he his someone who is limited by the external reality around d him, from the walls, to the titans, to humanity (those who wish for them to die). Simply saying that Eren would've only wanted to do this because it is his nature, is nothing but a means of compartmentalizing his actions into a evil reasoning for people to feel better justified in disagreeing with his actions instead of just judging purely of how his character is as a whole. By saying he did the rumbling just because of his disappointment, it would be same as saying that Eren would've done the rumbling anyway even if there was no animosity towards the eldians or an external threat towards his island.
This is the first intelligent comment I've read here. Bravo. To add on to that, this is another reason why many said Isayama's ending was bad, because he started writing Eren as a 1 dimensional villain and had him say things like "I don't know why I did it" which completely destroyed the complexity of his character. So many people are just not sharp enough to understand why people support Eren, or why people said the ending is bad. They rather just turn off their brains and say everything is perfect and Eren is wrong.
Please forgive the animators at MAPPA. They could not find any scenes that could be omitted from the story from this point forward. Furthermore, they created the final battle scene of Commander Hange with even more attention to detail than the original manga. It was impossible to fit it all within the one-hour time frame, and they put a lot of love and effort into it. Thanks to their hard work, we can once again look forward to the airing of Attack on Titan. Most importantly, we are excited to watch the final and true ending together with all of you in the next episode. I can't wait to share the emotions with everyone and take off the limits on our tear ducts for the true finale. Let's cry together.😭😭😭
That brief look on your faces with the fleeting hope that Hange is somehow ok, just to have it all come crashing down when you realize shes with Ewin and Moblet, this is peak. There are tear stains on this manga page, Hange is forever in our hearts
Hange being excited to make a cool exit is such a great way for her to go out. She was her awesome, quirky self to the bitter end, finding a way to take joy and fulfillment in her own demise.
The anime conveyed Eren's transformation really well. After reading the manga, I thought his current "freedom" motive for the Rumbling would be more compelling if Armin would've died and sent him into genocidal depression during the timeskip but the anime a better job making him seem genuinely "deranged."
I see what you mean I always thought if armin truly died then his decent would be even worse than the current which says a lot. I was thinking abt it since ppl wanted armin to die in place of erwin. But that’s why armin can’t die as eren would most likely go 100%. Also since armin represents true freedom and wisdom his presence is necessary narratively for the story which is the reason he there until the end. After all he’s the narrator for a reason
"in what way are you free" That's exactly the question I've been asking since the talk Eren had with Armin and Misaka at the table. If you can see the future and there's only one way you can accept it to unfold how can you be free?
I have been following along your entire reaction journey to this show and I must say, both of you are the best reactors out there, you really dive in deep into the story and connect with every character no matter what role they play in the show. I watched all the way through the end of this reaction video and I must give you a 100/10, thank you for taking your time to discuss each episode and really speak your minds out about everything, absolutely outstanding reaction :)
I cried hard halfway through, and then I paused the ep, and while I was recovering, I thought to myself, "I hope Milena and Lola have a reaction vid for this soon, because holy crap I need help processing"
1:39:24 Female titan could use the abilities of other titans if she consumed a little bit of their spinal fluid. Thus, she can use the ability of hardening of Armored Titan, crystallization of War hammer Titan, Speed of Jaw titan, and lastly the scream of Beast titan (ZEKE) to call the Pure titans. Those 4 titans are there in Marley. Thus, as Falco also consumed Zeke's spinal fluid, he can also use some special abilities of Beast titan as well.
Every shifter can do that, Eren did it too in s3 to get the hardening. Falco and Gabi asked Annie bc she was there and since her titan was the most versatile and with less special abilities she's the one marley put more effort on giving her more things to get her titan to be better than its initial form.
I hope that commander and anyone else who took an oath live so we can see what happens afterwards. Right now, I'm skeptical of what he said, because it's so easy to swear you'll be and do better when your back's against the wall. Actually doing it if you survive is the hard part.
So many greeat moments that Mappa did justice to the show: - they showed Hange taking down more than one titan in their final standoff - they showed us Grisha's parents and their fate (wasn't shown in the manga) - the speech from the Marelyan Commander, taking accountability and realizing their hatred brought this upon themselves - and them showing the titans slipping on the mountains/hills (LMAO) truly a remarkable job from Mappa
Mappa cut the scene out in the anime but, the rumblings move at every direction at the same time. Eren himself is at Marley but the rest of the collosals are moving in every direction from paradis so every other nations are being trampled simultaneously.
SiM said "Under the tree" is a song dedicated to Mikasa. Many think this is a Mikasa POV song, but I think they will see the song differently after the ending.

To both of you… I love your channel and content. Favorites are AOT and Avatar for sure. You guys really understand stories and give it a lot of thought which I appreciate. There’s a lot of reaction channels out there but you guys are the og and there’s just something fun, insightful, and generally special from the way do it. Sometimes you give me a whole new perspective to characters and scenes that I had never saw beforehand which is just amazing. Just wanted to thank you for the years at this point of good times, keep it up! (Hoping you guys are interested in doing Demon Slayer at some point, that would be awesome!)
I've watched many shows in my life and Attack on Titan is my #1. It's just a masterpiece for real. It has everything going for it. Plot, main characters, side characters, pacing, themes, music, etc. Everything is perfect.
@@ybfromoblock3381 it's literally only the people who are massive fans of other shows that says this, because AOT is just that good and they believe their fav show is the best. Like some Mid Piece, Naruto, Demon Slayer, Breaking Bad fans that hate on AOT lmao

Honestly would love to see something one would compare to aot story wise. (One piece, naruto, any other fight-centric story does not compare)
Finally. I thought you missed it. Eren tells us at the beginning that it had to be that way, that it was decided that he would do it. Still, he saved that kid, and he apologizes to him for what he'll do in the future. This is in front of a refugee camp. In an earlier episode, this is where Mikasa finds Eren. Eren wipes his tears and Mikasa asks him if something happened? Eren replies "not yet." He then asks Mikasa why she cares so much about him, who he is to her. He wanted to know what she would say. Soon after, they are invited by the kid's grandfather to the tents, and they are joined by Connie, Sasha, and Jean. Eren says "Perfect timing". Everything was as he saw it, no change. It was the last moment that confirmed to him that he would do it all.
I feel like they missed it because they have a preconceived notion of what Eren is as a character, and sometimes that makes them blind to some obvious things lol.
I don't believe Eren knew what Mikasa's answer to his question would be. From the look of desperation on his fact and also the fact that he just finished crying about the future in front of ramzi, it seems like Eren was both trying to gauge out her true feeling's for him, since he still doesn't know at this point and also to see if she would give him if she would give him an answer for any way out of his seemingly set-in-stone future. Spoilers: Chap 138 kinda confirms this since we see an Au where she gave him an honest answer and he didn't do the rumbling anymore.
@@lilmupp875 He knew. That's why this depression in the eyes. He had hoped to hear something else. Mikasa simply confirmed the cycle of events that must take place. Even Mikasa on the ship wondered what would have happened if she had answered differently, would events have gone differently? Or was it supposed to be like this from the beginning?
@ 1:26:32 , Not to say Eren's actions were right or justified, but in Eren's defense, i feel like his drive to protect his friends is stronger than both Armin's and Mikasa's was because he already knew what the people outside the walls were capable of doing to Eldians, thanks to Grisha's traumatic memories. And since Grisha was a rebel/liberationist(??), the things he know about the oppression going down would be more than compared to a standard Eldian-Marleyan. Changing topic here, but I find it so fascinating how the Yeager brothers have such vastly different beliefs despite being, well, brothers. from Zeke thinking it's better to have never been born at all, to Eren thinking being alive is what makes one special. Oof. the parallels. it's so good. 😂😭
If y'all are curious about the songs that played in the episode, "Bauklotze" played during Hange's sacrifice and "Splinter Wolf" played at the end during the our guys' assault on the Beast Titan
1:17:40 Floch said that indeed. Bur remember, to him, it didn't matter whether or not innocent people were dying at the raid in Liberio because he already knew Eren's plan of destroying the world. The people were gonna die regardless.
The stage is set The next episode is full action packed and it will be a Banger 😊 and the last episode will come somewhere between October to December.
I think they missed the hints at the beast titan being able to have characteristics of any animal, not just a monkey, bc they even ask if what Falco was talking about was if the beast can control animals bc they're not thinking in Falco himself with his titan form related to that
18:39 I'm so glad that you guys are so focused on those nuances. Yeah, rereading that conversation after chapter with the Rumbling came out was an eye-opening experience.

And he wanted to cross the mountains and go to the outside world someday.
He wanted to leave his small town.

They have a deep understanding of the story and the role of each character, In spite having read the subtitles. Excellent!!😘
Have you ever seen filmbuff or autosave? Along with lm they're my favorite reactors
You girls have answered most of the internet's questions about why Eren is how he is at the final season. Great character analysis 👏
Yes sad 💔💔😭 Ainne kiled him right or not

Man you guys picked up on everything I hoped you would. Again, thank you for watching this show so carefully and giving us your brilliant discussions.
Yes. just wish they remembered what falcos Titan looked like. They got close when they mentioned how zekes Titan looked like a monkey but they didn’t connect anything and moved on 😢 I think there big disconnect there was that they simply forgot what it looked like
@@ybfromoblock3381 yeah you're right. They might've forgotten that beast titans can be any animal

I apologize if I came off as overly aggressive and combative, that was not my intention.

you understand the story so well... i love this channel. so many people hated the ending because they just didn't understand the characters and story like you guys
At the beginning of March, 70% to 80% of the drawing is finished, and the unfinished drawing, sound effects, voice actors, and insert songs will be broadcast this fall, but it will be around September at the earliest.
Until then, let's look forward to it 🎵
By the way, at the beginning of the first half of this episode, Mikasa asked, "Why are you crying, Eren?"will be understood later.
"I don't know why I did it" 😂😂😂😂
What a HELL of an episode.
I love this ❤❤
So pain l feel sad for them all Rianer and Ainne and Jon
Couldn’t have said it any better
Nice imdb copy and paste
It's too one-sided. At best, it's just Allen's disappointment with the world, and it's far from the reason for him to launch a massacre.
Although Allen is disappointed with the world, it is more to give his partner a world that is not full of hatred and the power of giants. This is the reason why he refuses to sacrifice the queen. In Allen's heart, the partner is the first, followed by The nation. He carried all the crimes on his shoulders, just to leave a world free from hatred and the power of giants.

They've taken what I thought would be unadaptable and somehow made it better in many instances.
2 hours and 23 min of Milena, Lola and AoT, nice!
The first scene "see you later" is the original dream eren sees in the manga chapter 1
Many characters have names that are meaningful for the plot, as someone explained to you in past videos about Floch's last name showing he's someone who's stuck in thw cycle of hatred, the forest, even when that word, "Forster" (his last name) means nothing in japanese.
this episode truly deserves a reaction video this long
"Giving you trouble has become by obsession" the lyrics say as it shows Reiner turning into the armored
Actually so fitting to his history with Eren.
Lol Reiner always there to try and stop Erens plan
The way they showed Erwin and Moblit meeting Hange it was so awesome 😭
You guys are the best reactors of AOT I’ve ever seen you understand the show so good. I needed to watch it a lot of times to finally get the deep message that the author wants to show us.
I just think that he’s slave of emotions and his dream but he would never have done that if he wasn’t at this place. All the people that him praise and help him all along are also a cause of all this. They weren’t aware of that but unfortunately everything that they have done leads to this situation.
Eren should never have become such an important soldier for paradise the story would have been different
You say would have been very different. Do you not believe it happened and was always destined to happen?
@@ybfromoblock3381 no there is no predetestination in AOT everything eren did he choose to do it. Don’t tell me the future him manipulate him because at the he is the one who decided. He said it a lot of time I don’t why people always try to make their own story just to feel like they’re right
Hange didnt admit that Zeke's plan was right, she just admitted that she failed to show eren any other way than the one he chose.
I actually listened to your whole video while doing work. Honestly, you guys are one of the few reactors on youtube that understand the story of the same length as me so I love love love your ramble, it made me feel like I'm discussing aot with friends who share the same passion for aot
2:19:45 you are so wrong Lola. We literally need the both of you and Filmbuff against the Reading Comprehension Titan to save the anime onlies from misinterpretations.
What a beautiful hour.
Hanji was really the mvp ❤ i didn't realize how much i loved this character until i saw Hanji go out like a damn boss .
People are saying another hour won't be enough for the rest of the manga so i really hope they don't rush it .
The Eren and Ramzi scene is very interesting to see, however the scene the best lends to help explain it, would be the beach scene with Eren as it is him more or less restating the exact same sentiments and lends a better lens of how to interpret the "When I learned humanity lived outside the walls, I was disappointed."
Another additive point is that despite this being and additional reason for why he did the rumbling, especially with its ties to Erens freedom goal, it however was not the sole reason for why he did the rumbling.
What are you talking about? Nobody cares that this was an hour. Why are you going so hard for Mappa when nobody complained? 😂
That brief look on your faces with the fleeting hope that Hange is somehow ok, just to have it all come crashing down when you realize shes with Ewin and Moblet, this is peak. There are tear stains on this manga page, Hange is forever in our hearts
We've been waiting for 2000 years and the reaction has finally dropped.
EREN IS THE SAVIOR OF HUMANITY!!
@@LuisSierra42 stop it…
I see what you mean I always thought if armin truly died then his decent would be even worse than the current which says a lot.
"in what way are you free"
That's exactly the question I've been asking since the talk Eren had with Armin and Misaka at the table.
If you can see the future and there's only one way you can accept it to unfold how can you be free?
That “waiting Under the tree line” 🥲🥲

So many greeat moments that Mappa did justice to the show:
- they showed Hange taking down more than one titan in their final standoff
- they showed us Grisha's parents and their fate (wasn't shown in the manga)
- the speech from the Marelyan Commander, taking accountability and realizing their hatred brought this upon themselves
- and them showing the titans slipping on the mountains/hills (LMAO)
truly a remarkable job from Mappa
it's been so long since the last attack on titan reaction. been waiting for this!
2000 years
Mappa cut the scene out in the anime but, the rumblings move at every direction at the same time. Eren himself is at Marley but the rest of the collosals are moving in every direction from paradis so every other nations are being trampled simultaneously.
SiM said "Under the tree" is a song dedicated to Mikasa.

Spoilers:
Chap 138 kinda confirms this since we see an Au where she gave him an honest answer and he didn't do the rumbling anymore.

I think they missed the hints at the beast titan being able to have characteristics of any animal, not just a monkey, bc they even ask if what Falco was talking about was if the beast can control animals bc they're not thinking in Falco himself with his titan form related to that
